The beautiful view from this condo is the absolute best! The condo was comfortable and clean for the most part. We experienced leaking issues from unit above related to intense rain and wind. Response from property manager was immediate and excellent. Hono Kai complex is in need of general maintenance, but atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and we always look forward to our stays there.

The Perfect Ocean View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was perfect. This place was comfortable, clean, we could hear the waves from the balcony. The ocean view was amazing. The unit had everything we needed. We have been to Hawaii many, many, many times but this place was my favorite. The bedroom is next to the pool so that noise and people traffic is present but not too bothersome.

Great place! The view is just amazing. It’s a classy Hawaiian style apartment which easily fits three people, even though the sleeper sofa mattress is more suited for a kid. Very quiet resort directly on the beach and tucked away at the end of the street. The sound of the waves can be loud though, and bringing ear plugs for the night is not a bad idea. Kitchen is well equipped to cook easy meals. The location is perfect and both north and south shore are within an easy 20 Minute driving distance.Would definitely rent this apartment again.

So relaxing!

We only stayed two days in Maalaea condo. The view was fabulous and we saw so many whales and turtles during our stay. You can also walk for miles on this beautiful sandy beach. The bed was comfy and there was everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen and High lanai chairs to see the view.
