This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests will never want to leave the balcony with its panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach.
If the ocean isnā€™t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access, flat-screen cable TV and a DVD player. This is the largest floor plan at Beachers Lodge.
The kitchen is small but has everything you need, and there is a dining table for four also in the condo. This is a pet free, non-smoking condo, perfect for two people or cozy for four. Need more space? We also manage several other units in the same building, so your family and friends can stay close by!
Beacherā€™s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustineā€™s historic district. Beacherā€™s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Just a short drive away, less than an hour, is Daytona Beach to the South and Jacksonville to the North. Orlando is just a 2.5 hour drive as well.

Minimum age to rent this condo is 25. Pets and smoking not permitted.

Room was not the cleanest. Blinds were broke, couch and chair were dirty and the pull out was very uncomfortable. The sink was very dirty. The code that was provided to access the beach was incorrect. Luckily the others staying at the condo were able to provide us with the right code. Our stay was not terrible, but also not great. We made the best of it :)

Beautiful Place

This place was lovely. It was so clean and beautiful. The view was indescribable. My favorite part is the icecream shop across the road. We even utilized some of the books that were there! Thank you!

Lovely week at the beach

The condo is perfect for a couple. We had a wonderful stay. Being direct ocean front is wonderful. Very private balcony with great view of the ocean.

Sadly this vacation rental was very disappointing

We picked up the key for rental #221 at an offsite location which was not far from Beacherā€™s Lodge. The bathroom sink was running slow and the next morning the kitchen faucet sprung a leak. We contacted Derrick Kelly and he quickly had both problems fixed. Then went to used the dishwasher but it didnā€™t work again contacted Mr Kelly said he would stop by and look into it. If he did I donā€™t know I texted him to see what the status was on the dishwasher and never heard from him for the rest of our stay (which was 12 days). The bathroom needs updating desperately and the whole condo needs a deep cleaning. We were told we would get a refund but that never happened either. My husband and I were very disappointed and would not stay here again. Hopefully the owner will see this review and will be more responsive to other renters. Itā€™s in a wonderful location and would stay at Beacherā€™s Lodge again , just another unit.

Great stay with few downsides

Overall great place , and love the easily accessible to beach with a great view. However you have to go to another site to pick up keys for check in and out vs getting straight access. Then the tv would not hook up to internet so could only watch like 3 channels which no big deal but you canā€™t watch tv in bed .

Great location, enjoyed the beachfront atmosphere

Overall it was a great time, for the price the following cons we just dealt with. Blinds were missing which with a hefty $500 fine due to turtle nesting season was inconvenient, floors were dirty (wore socks inside), sinks in kitchen donā€™t drain properly, and there were little spider bugs crawling over the counters. For the price, we just exercised precautions to turn off lights, wear socks on floors, allow extra time to let sinks drain, and didnā€™t leave stuff on the counters. In hindsight I couldā€™ve alerted our contact to the issues during our stay and didn't, we werenā€™t inside much anyway.. The beach view is beautiful, close to St Augustine, sun/sand canā€™t be beat!

Far enough away that itā€™s quiet and not crowded but close enough to downtown that you can run back to the room for a break if needed. Crescent Beach

Loved the condo and the views from the balcony were amazing. I loved all the dogs and bikes on the beach. Everyone was friendly. The condo was very clean and super cute with its beach decor. The bed was a little soft for us. Overall everything was great!

An Average Unit

Why only three stars? It started at the beginning with two things that cost one star. 1) I never received an email with instructions on what to do when arriving. It took a couple of calls to reach the property manager. 2) Unlike nearly all properties these days that have keypad entry, this one requires you to drive north a couple of miles to pick up keys. And later, to drop off your keys when you depart. Keys, the old style with the big plastic key tag you must take with you and possibly misplace. It's time to modernize. The second star lost was for the average condition of the unit itself. The vertical blinds were missing six slats, and there was no curtain, just a curtain rod on the ceiling where it once was. Mind you, there's an ordinance this time of year that requires curtains to be closed after dusk. The patio furniture was mediocre. The mattress may be due for replacement, though the sheets were nice. The bedroom blinds would not open. The curtains in the bedroom do a minimal job of blocking the very bright lights from the parking lot, forcing us to use beach towels to darken the room. No place to wipe a little sand off your feet. Stuff like that. The unit has a very nice beachfront location and the building appears to be well maintained. Overall, the place was average.

TV trouble

Everything was wonderful except for the TV's. We are old and do not know anything about streaming. Derrick came by and tried to help but was unable to. The TV in the bedroom was completely inoperable. The other one we could watch a very few things on. We went for the ocean, not to watch TV, but at night we do like to watch some things but was unable to.
