Our little nest is located in the heart of a region rich in tourist sites (Fontainebleau, Moret sur Loing, Sens Cathedral, Vaux le Vicomte ...)

Whether you are contemplative, curious, athletic ... You can after beautiful busy days relax in a peaceful place 10 'from the shops and 70 Kms from the center of Paris, 50' by train from Moret sur Loing. Bakery in the village at 3 Kms.
Eden's barn is a guest house that we put at your disposal.
We do not have a vocation for the hotel industry, but we are committed to making your stay pleasant. We expect in return the delicacy and respect for the place.
Beds made on arrival, towels provided.
Upstairs :
1 large bedroom (1 high quality 160x200 bed, 1 90x190 bed more suitable for a child) with bathroom.
1 small bedroom (1 high quality 140x200 bed),
bathroom on the ground floor:

Equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, cooking, washing machine, microwave, small appliances.
The house is non-smoking but ashtrays are available outside.
Garden table, barbecue.
We are happy to share our swimming pool (open from May to September) within reason. Everyone with respect and discretion.
Entire house and garden.
A part of the garden is exclusively reserved for rental to guarantee your privacy, but the property is voluntarily surrounded by no fence, the garden thus extends into nature.
Swimming pool shared with the owners (when you take advantage of the swimming pool, we remain discreet but we like to swim too!). Without abuse on your part, we will be very accommodating.
When we are away (quite rarely), the pool is closed for security and liability reasons.
The swimming pool is closed at night.
Essential vehicle, necessary vehicle.
No parties or evenings
The rental, the garden and the swimming pool are reserved only for travelers and no outside person.

A beautiful house with wonderful owners

We stayed with our two children for one week and had a wonderfully relaxed week. We were made very welcome, felt comfortable and enjoyed chatted to Christine and Janick. The pool was super! The house was well equipped and we enjoyed a complimentary cake on our arrival. We would return and highly recommend.

Dream Vacation

Our stay at Christine and Janick's was absolute heaven; I honestly don't have the words to describe how much our family enjoyed our time at their home. Christine was a pleasure to work with before, during and after our stay. Check-in and check-out were easy. Christine greeted us and showed us around when we first arrived, ensuring we settled in comfortably. Their home is amazing, nestled in the French countryside, built and decorated with love and exactly as pictured. Our family had more than enough space to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor space nightly. The kitchen, laundry and bathrooms were well equipped. I would stay with Christine and Janick again in a heartbeat and would move there if I could! As it is, we are taking with us beautiful memories and a wonderful new friendship.

Dear Teresa, Jeff and your wonderful children, Your comment means a lot to us. Of course, there is the location, the comfort and we are happy to have contributed to a good stay for you in our house. Beyond that, like you, we felt such beautiful people in you that we were sad to see you go. Not enough time to get to know each other better, share, laugh and smile. During these few days we had the impression that you were our family. It's such a precious commodity. We keep an immense tenderness towards you. These rare and intense moments are so reassuring. Be happy and if your route one day passes through our hamlet, no need to knock on the door, it is definitely open to you. Don't delay too much when even we are old! sorry Teresa, I see that during your assessment, only the general assessment was retained. it is a computer error. you get 5 stars for everything

Lovely characterful cottage with shared swimming pool

Christine and Janick were delightful hosts and we found the cottage to be charming and full of character. We visited during a heatwave making the pool a very welcome facility and although it is shared with the owners this was never a problem. They respect your privacy by not using the pool when you are and vice versa. The location is remote so you will need a car but is great for visiting various chateaus. Paris with so many sights to see is only 40 minutes by train from Moret Veneux les Sablons. The Palace of Versaille is about 1.5 hours by car and is spectacular. You need to allow a whole day if you are going to do both the Chateau and Gardens. Well worth the visit but be aware that the queue to get into the Chateau can be very long; 3.5 hours in our case and that was having booked tickets on line. If you don’t you can add another couple of hours to queue for those. You can avoid much of the queuing by buying a timed ticket. Chateau De Vaux-le-Vicomte is another beautiful chateau (we spent all day there) and on Saturday evenings the garden is candle-lit with a firework display. We didn’t stay for this but it seemed that a lot of people were arriving with picnics for the evening as we were leaving. I am not sure if this takes place every week so best check before you visit if that is your intention. Guedelon Castle approx. 1.5 hours’ drive is a 20 year archelogy project to build a castle using only traditional methods and provides a great day out. We spent a whole day there. Moret-sur-Loing is a very pretty village with a river where the locals like to swim. There is also a very nice restaurant that serves lovely crepes and galettes. Drive over the bridge and through the village high street until you get to the tourist information office on your right. The restaurant is about 20 meters further on the right. Fontainebleau (30 mins drive) has wide range of restaurants and cafes not far from the Chateau. We eat there every other night during our 2 week stay at a variety of restaurants. All were welcoming with good service and reasonable prices. All the meals we had were excellent so I can’t really recommend one over any other as they were all great. The Chateau is also well worth a visit. On the evenings when we did eat at the cottage I cooked on the barbeque. It was a basic barbeque fuelled by charcoal but I found it fine to use and cooked for four each time. All in all, we had a great time and would be happy to recommend this accommodation.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit. Es ruhig und entspannt in der grünen Scheune Eden. Wir haben gerne den Pool genutzt. Da wir zum Bouldern da waren, mussten wir in die umliegenden Gebiete fahren. War nicht schlimm, sollte man aber wissen. Man fährt zu den “berühmten” Bouldergebieten ca. 30-40 Minuten. In näherer Umgebung (15-20 Minuten) gibt es aber auch was.

Veel charme in een rustige bosrijke omving

Heel vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooi en goed onderhouden en ingericht huis en tuin met veel charme. Aan alle details is gedacht. Het ontbreekt aan niets. Heerlijk zwembad om tijdens hete dagen af te koelen. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit en we hebben heerlijk geslapen. Het huis ligt buiten het dorp Dormelles midden in de natuur. In de buurt liggen mooie eeuwenoude dorpen zoals Moret sur loing. Ook Provins (Unesco erfgoed) is de moeite waard om te bezoeken (50 min met auto) en uiteraard het kasteel van Fontaintebleau en Vaux.Wij hebben een mooie fietstocht gemaakt langs het kanaal van loing dat begint bij de monding van de seine in de buurt van Moret. Dit is een onderdeel van de EV3 route. Supermarkten en restaurants in de buurt (+/- 15 min rijden). Parijs is bereikbaar binnen 15 min met de trein vanuit het dichtsbijzijnde station.

Impeccable et charmante

Ça fait des années que avec ma famille je loue des maison de vacances et rarement j’ai trouvé une location d’une telle beauté! La maison est un havre de paix au beau milieu de la nature: chaque fenêtre un tableau ouvert sur le paysage, le seul bruit le chant des oiseaux. L’intérieur est cosy, très bien équipé, facile à vivre et confortable. Les serviettes et la literie des chambres impeccable. Nous y avons passé un vrai moment de bonheur, tout en profitant des merveilles architecturales et artistiques des alentours (château, beaux villages, atelier d’artistes). Mes enfants ont, bien évidement, adoré la piscine et le jardin (et nous aussi!) Un grand merci a Christine e Janick, hôtes disponibles, discrets et très intéressants, ça été un vrai plaisir de faire votre connaissance. Un adresse à retenir et à conseiller sans crainte!

Une pause en forêt chez des hôtes merveilleux

Nous garderons une image très chaleureuse de notre séjour à la grange d’Eden. Christine et Janick sont des hôtes sensibles et attentionnés, tout depuis les détails de l’aménagement des maisons, des jardins jusqu’aux magnifiques sculptures de Janick porte à la sérénité. La maison est très chaleureuse, bien équipée, et très bien orientée pour se sentir à la fois proches des hôtes et isolés des regards, au calme absolu et immergée dans la nature. Pas de piscine en cette saison, et pour répondre à certains commentaires au sujet du WiFi, les explications de Christine étaient très claires : un WiFi de campagne est disponible avec un débit minimal, suffisant pour relever ses mails mais pas pour recevoir un flux vidéo. Nous étions prévenus et avec une petite box 4G portable, qu fait très bien l’affaire. Nous reviendrons avec certitude à la ferme d’Eden, pour la maison et avant tout pour Christine et Janick.

Séjour de rêve dans un cadre de charme

Nous avons passé un peu plus d'une semaine à la Grange d'Eden, en famille avec un bébé de 8 mois et un garçon de 6 ans. La maison est MAGNIFIQUE, les lits très confortables, tous les équipements pour bébé étaient à disposition. Le jardin est un havre de paix, au bord de la forêt, on y aperçoit des daims et des lièvres... et nous nous sommes régalés avec les prunes du jardin qui étaient délicieuses ! La piscine ne donne qu'une envie... y plonger !! Christine et Janick sont des hôtes adorables, toujours disponibles tout en étant discrets. Merci encore et à bientôt !

Home away from home.

We expected a nice place to stay. What we actually found was a paradise! Paradise run by two angels of artistic and esthetic perfction and God's of hospitality. Seriously, our stay at his place was out of this world!

Très belle maison de campagne avec beaucoup de charme, parfait pour un séjour au calme et pour se reposer avec bébé... nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons trouvé tout ce quil nous fallait pour le bébé : lit, baignoire, table à langer. Merci pour votre accueil et ce séjour!

Wonderful house and beautiful garden close to Fontainebleau and Paris, limited access to the pool

The house and the garden are really nice, the pool is the cherry on top. In the french discription it says: Nous partageons volontiers notre piscine ( ouverte de mai à septembre) avec les voyageurs dans la limite du raisonnable) Chacun dans le respect et la discrétion. We asked ourselves what this meant. One example: on our second last day it was 30 degrees celsius, but the owners did not open the pool, because they wanted to visit friends in the afternoon. (We asked in the morning.) So we had to go to a crowded lake for a swim, although we had a pool in front of the house. Moreover there was no W-Lan available during our stay, althoug the description says that W-Lan would be provided. We had a great stay as a family of five, comfortable beds, kitchen eqipped with all we needed, a Provence like garden, we did nice trips to Paris, Fontainebleau and Vaux le Vicompte but the access to the pool was more restrictive as imagined and we missed W-Lan access.

We are happy that the region and our house have pleased you despite the lack of internet connection. Unfortunately, our phone line was cut off for two weeks. A tree had fallen on the line on the road. We understand that living in metropolises this kind of inconvenience is unknown to you. We did not imagine that you missed it because we have fast and unlimited access to the internet with our mobile phones. For the swimming pool, we preferred in the description of the rental a formula calling on the education of each without strict rules. The words: discretion, reasonable, respect seemed the same in all languages. All vacationers before you understood. If you have asked us about the reservation, we would have gladly recommended nearby vacation rentals with private pools. You took advantage of the pool between 4 and 6 hours a day at the sunniest hours, except the day we were absent, we came back around 17 pm and you occupied the pool for nearly 2 hours. We take your comments into account and modify the description of our rental accordingly. "Here, Internet is slow, sometimes absent Plan to read, discuss or listen to nature ............ We lend you our pool without any abuse on your part (not all day) because we also like to enjoy it. Do not run, dive, do acrobatics, do not drink beer and do not eat around the pool for reasons of safety and cleanliness. " If you respect these rules, we will be accommodating. A guest house is not a club hotel. This is our place of life.

Reposant et des propriétaires extra

Nous sommes venus pour passer un week-end avec notre bébé. La maison était parfaite, agréable, beaucoup de charme, très bien équipée. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine en alternance avec les propriétaires. Le domaine est magnifique, les hôtes sont charmants et chaleureux ! Une belle rencontre. Nous reviendrons !

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung, super nette Vermieter, sehr ruhige Lage, wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Eine wunderschönes Haus in einer traumhaft ruhigen und ländlichen Gegend. Perfekt zum Abschalten. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, wunderschöner Landhausstil. Zwei Badezimmer/WCs mit Dusche waren auch für uns 5 voll und ganz ausreichend. Das Vermieter Paar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es rundum gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Heerlijk zorgeloos verblijf in goed uitgerust huis :-) !

Heerlijk rustig, schitterende tuin, mooi zwembad, die je deelt met de eigenaar. Dus met wederzijds respect voor privacy wordt er gezwommen. Het zwembad is zeer vaak beschikbaar. Goed uitgerust huisje. Moderne 2-persoonsbedden, waarvan 1 twijfelaar. Echter je slaapt bij beide op een 'plastic molton', dus het is aan te bevelen zelf een molton mee te nemen, daar dit erg benauwd slaapt. Er is Wifi, maar die valt wel eens uit. De zeer behulpzame en aardige eigenaars doen er alles aan om dit euvel te verhelpen :-). Omgeving huisje: rustige stadjes, dwz in de zomerperiode. Het nodige qua winkels bijv. is dicht hierdoor. Parijs is echter een dik uur rijden verwijderd. Prima te doen. Wij hebben een fijne rustige vakantie gehad, schitterende sterrenhemel 's avonds en vertier als we ervoor wilden rijden. Het is erg aan te bevelen.
