A fish cleaning station is provided, and beach fishing permits are readily available. Many places offer 10 day fishing permits (Ocean East Tackle store is the closest on the causeway). Why we chose South Nags Head: Our family has been coming to the outer banks for many years and South Nags Head is our favorite location. We love it so much for it’s quiet beaches and convenience. Many years we have watched turtles hatch and make their journey to the ocean. We married on the beach here in South Nags Head and thought it was only fitting that we buy a special place of our own.
