The house was great - very comfortable and a lot of room for our family of 7. Close to the beach, had lots of beach chairs, towels and toys available. The house had everything we needed!

Our stay was amazing! This house has everything you can think of that you’ll need. The hosts were super accommodating and very responsive. They don’t ask much of you at checkout which is so nice because it’s already stressful enough trying to pack. We are truly grateful to have been able to stay here!

The pool was unusable for the majority of our stay. We left early because the host refused to have the pool cleaned to be usable. The home is not as advertised and is in poor condition. The host made up a charge not on our rental agreement when I brought up these concerns. Choose a different property and host.

Dustin you are lying . There was a huge nor’easter the week of your stay . The pool and spa were cleaned spotless and 2 days later another storm . You left early because the rest of the week was forecasted for more storms . The weather is out of our control . Plus you brought pets without notice to avoid the pet charge. Unfortunately we cannot rent to you in the future.

Wonderful location for family beach week

The location, cleanliness and amenities couldn't be better. Unfortunately, hurricane weather disrupted an absolute perfect week but in spite of those hiccups, I highly recommend this property.

Exceptional Nags Head Home

This is a fantastic property! The house is beautifully maintained and decorated. The pool is WONDERFUL! And, the location on the beach with a clear view to the ocean is perfect. We spent a lot of time on the decks looking out onto the ocean. Like many other OBX properties that are suitable for a large family, there are lots of stairs - not a problem for most. I highly recommend this beautiful beach home. Oh, and I appreciated the kitchen stocked with all the normal things - spices, condiments, and much more.

Fun in the Sun

We had a great time during our stay. The property was in a good location and very clean with a lot of room to spread out. The pool and hot tub were perfect and where we spent a lot of time along with the kitchen and upstairs family room. The host provided a lot of extra pool toys, puzzles, games, and the kitchen had a lot of tools to cook with. I do wish the pots and pans were newer. They are well used by many! Easy check in and check out and the host is very communicative. Thank you for a great time!

Based on prior conversations with owner, we were led to believe the property would be suitable for our 9 day stay over Thanksgiving. That was not the case. The condition of the property upon arrival was unacceptable. A storm occured a month prior left a pool full of sand, (she mentioned pool out of order) sandy bottom in hot tub, all chairs around pool area and observation area covered in sand. Sand was even on window sills in Dining area...which indicates a lack of proper cleaning. Which was evident throught the entire home. Interior furnishings well worn...linens cheap and well past their prime. Sheets on master and other bedroom except kids rooms, were thin, cheap and just downright awful. No rugs in bathroom areas...these are not option extras but basic expectations for a rental property on the ocean...not inexpensive either! This cottage DID NOT represent the VRBO listing. A Huge disappointment not to mention...waist of money. I have been going to Nags Head for over 40yrs. and never have I ever had such a disappointing stay.

Beware owners do not rent to this group ! They were told ahead of their trip that the nor’easters left the pool full of sand and not usable , they were fine with it . Then they bring in 2 dogs that they never mentioned ( we allow 1 dog max ) and to top of it all placed a hot pot on the countertop and cracked it in half . They said they didn’t know how it got there . We’re done with off season rentals . Just not worth the caliber of guests that disrespect your property.

Great family home

We spent a week with our children and small dog and loved it! The beach front location was wonderful and the house was fully stocked with anything you might need. Would highly recommend!

Great week!

Rob and Susie were gracious hosts. Nice views of the ocean. Heated pool and hot tub were great. House is clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

First Time to Outer Banks

Quiet yet close to everything. Fish heads Bar and Grill and pier were a short walk away from the house. House was roomy, clean and inviting.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had a lovely week, the house is beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kids really enjoyed having both the pool and quick beach access. Great location too! We would definitely come back.
