Perfect beachfront home with dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and panoramic views from Monterey to Santa Cruz! Spectacular 3000 square foot home at Pajaro Dunes located on a secluded expansive beach on the magnificent Monterey Bay coastline.

The main house has three bedrooms--all with an ocean view. The Guesthouse is perfect for teenagers, kids or a separate family with 1-Queen bed, 4-Twin beds and a full bathroom.

The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped for your cooking needs. Just bring your food.

One of the few Pajaro homes that you can drive right to the front door--most homes in the area are accessed by a long boardwalk. The driveway will accommodate two cars, with nearby street parking for additional cars.

Pajaro Dunes has 24-hour security, biking & jogging trails, volleyball and basketball courts. The tennis courts are 1-block from the house. Kayaking and bird watching at Elkhorn Slough is ten minutes away.

Nearby cities such as Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel are only a 20-30 minutes away including famous golf courses, restaurants and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Master Suite Upstairs - King & Private Bath - with closing pocket doors for privacy.
Master Suite Upstairs - Queen & Private Bath - with closing pocket doors for privacy.
Bedroom Downstairs - Sofa with Queen mattress & Shared Full Bath - with closing pocket doors for privacy.
*Please note that staircase for the upstairs bedrooms are located on the outside of the house.

This house was wonderful. The most well stocked house we have stayed in yet. Everyspice, utensils,pots pans etc. This is our 4th house we have stayed at the Pajaro Dubes. Absolutely the best. Cant wait to try to get it again next year.

Home away from home!

This is our second time staying here with our group of 12. It fit us perfectly and we make so many great memories here. The check in/out process is so easy. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time in the rental! It was perfect because my husband and I could stay in the guest house with our kids while his elderly family got the main house. Beautiful view and they had sand buckets for the kids to use as well! Can’t wait for next year!

The house is lovely, and was perfect for our family, but the location was what really made this house perfect. Because the house is practically on the beach, my husband who has difficulty walking was able to enjoy being at the beach without actually walking on the sand.

Has it all

Huge home right on the beach. Fully stocked kitchen, tons of beach and bath towels, plenty of living, family, and dining seating. Great balcony with plenty of comfortable seating and the hot tub. Some minor inconveniences: hot tub water was really green when we checked in Monday afternoon so we didn’t get to use it that day, but a quick response back from the owner let us know that maintenance is every Tuesday and Friday morning and the hot tub guy came Tuesday 10am. He said it looked like it was used a lot since Friday but he would have it cleaned up and ready by Tuesday afternoon. I only counted 3 bedrooms, but no issue for my group of 6. Access to the stairs to the bedrooms are outside with no bedrooms on the lower level, but no issues for us. Overall a great place to stay. Driveway parking was also a big plus.

We had an amazing stay at a great property! The house is extremely well equipped and very comfortable for large groups. The only downside is that it’s an unusual design which requires one to go outside and up stairs to get to any of the befrooms. In the summer, no big deal, and it didn’t bother us.

Perfect home for families

We were all delighted with this property, my children and grandchildren gathered for my 70th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more special. It was always a dream of mine to be at a beach house like this, and I was not disappointed!

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable home on the ocean!

Our family of 9 have had a restful and wonderful time in this lovely home! Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The main room is spacious and the view is sublime! The area is not crowded at this time of year ( May) and a great time was had by all. We made great memories and hope to be back one day!

What a view!

You will not find a better view with a hot tub facing the beach. It was fabulous. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The main floor was recently updated with new carpet and furniture. Beautiful and comfortable. It was unclear from the listing that you could not access any bedrooms from inside the home. It was strange to have to go outside and upstairs to access bedrooms that were in the main house. The 3 bedroom was in a separate building not attached to the house. Bedrooms could use updating. Bedroom patio door were being replaced, so patio door was not able to be open from one bedroom. The incredible view made up for these other small inconveniences.

Great house for 3 families

We had a great stay! We had 3 families so each got their own space when needed, but had the communal space (deck, living room, courtyard) to hang out in all the time. The hot tub was particularly nice. Only thing we didn’t realize was that there’s no direct beach access from the house. It’s very close, and just a short walk, but with a group of young kids we weren’t able to let them just run out onto the beach. Very happy with our stay overall

MAKING MEMORIES

From the moment we walked in through the outside door, we were so excited to be at this house. The entire house is so unique. We loved how the outdoor entrances made it seem like we had our own private areas, yet the sliding doors allowed us to be open to the family below. The outside deck was AMAZING! So many places to sit and enjoy the views. The kitchen had everything you could ever need to create a beautiful setting at the large dining table. We loved the fun and fancy glassware, along with the ice machine in the bar area. The extra house off the main house was a perfect spot for the families who needed a separate space with extra beds and a private bathroom. The path to the beach was right next to the home and parking was ideal. We have stayed in many homes at Pajaro where we had to walk a good distance in order to get to the main property. This location allowed us to park in the driveway and walk right in. I can't express enough how beautiful the views are in this property. The only downfall is if you are traveling with someone who may struggle with stairs. We didn't realize the bottom queen bed and bathroom was a pull out bed from the couch and not an additional bedroom. Overall, this was one of our favorite homes we have rented so far. Our family comes to Pajaro every year and we stay in a different house each time. I would definitely recommend this property!

A perfect respite

We rented this house with another family to celebrate our daughter’s winter break birthday. We live nearby but felt like we were a million miles away during our stay at this amazing beachfront property. Everything in the description is accurate and there were no surprises. The house was very clean and well cared for. The view was incredible, especially with the winter sunsets. We enjoyed a fire in the pellet stove one night but we had good weather and didn’t really need a fire. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean is priceless. I was absolutely amazed at how well stocked the house was. The kitchen has everything you need and more—multiple coffee pots, blender, kitchen aid mixer, pans, spices, serving platters galore, etc. Plus every room has multiple extra pillows and blankets and towels. Thank you for an amazing stay! I hope we will come back again!

The home belonged to my wife's aunt who bought the home in 1973. When she passed in 1997 the family sold the home. We always would say "wouldn't it be nice to one day own a home like Aunt Esther had at Pajaro Dunes"? Fast forward to 2002 while surfing the net for homes for sale at Pajaro Dunes I noticed a picture of the deck and the description of the home and we we couldn't believe the house was for sale again. We bought it back right then and have had it in the family ever since. We are happy to share with others this unique home and all the memories that are created there.
