Multiple master suites w/ 4 king beds, 3 queens & 4 bunks (8 twin beds). Come relax and enjoy.

Finest finishes with old world travertine flooring throughout, granite counters, soaking tubs, rain showers and much more! 4 car garage with outdoor shower for cleaning off the sand when you return from the beach. Home elevator for guest with accessible needs.

Your group can walk to just about everything, or just sit back and enjoy in this spectacular retreat. Located directly across the street from the beautiful Santa Cruz Wharf, famous Cowells Beach, and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Visitor`s Center. Walk to the world famous Santa Cruz Boardwalk, where you can enjoy mini-golf, rollercoasters, bowling, an arcade and more. Take the summertime trolley offering service to downtown Santa Cruz with a stop outside your front door. Walk to the lighthouse museum at Lighthouse Field or hop on the old fashion locomotive train to Roaring Camp Redwoods. Enjoy 30+ restaurants and shops, rent surfboards, watch the whales and dolphins.

The Santa Cruz Villas team of Derek, Alexandra and Carie live locally and we have a check-in office on site. We are easily accessible.
City ordinance requires quiet hours in exterior spaces after 10pm. No parties or loud gatherings. No music or noise on exterior decks after 10pm please. Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years. Owner will send separate contract for guest`s signature.

In addition to the cancellation policy- All Payments are Refundable less the direct costs charged for the cancellation by the credit card processing company of up to 4% until 60 days before reservation, then they become nonrefundable.

The villas were very clean. High walkability score with beach, boardwalk, pier within a half-mile and downtown within a mile. Access to private parking is a big plus. Great views from the upper floors. There is no A/C in the bedrooms so it can get a bit stuffy on warm nights. For us, it was fine with the windows and sliding balcony doors open, but the street noise may be bothersome to light sleepers. Kitchens were spacious and very well equipped. Beds comfy. The elevator was extremely helpful for my elderly mom as there are quite a number of stairs to negotiate. It also came in handy to transport luggage and groceries.Derek and his team were so helpful before and during our stay. They promptly answered all our questions and kept us well informed. We would certainly stay here again.

Generous living space, generous dining areas, very well equipped kitchens. Restful bedrooms and bathrooms.Only suggestion would be to make the pantry cupboards available for food items, instead of kitchenware. The upper cupboard to the right of the stove is not that accessible.

Great location, great vacation

Our family of 11 people celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. It was nice for each couple to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a blast.

Great place for corporate retreat/work project

plenty of space so comfortable for work retreats and projects. The house was super well stocked and so comfortable to cook in and hang out at the end of a long work day. We got a little playing in as well. Would recommend to anyone coming to work or play in Santa Cruz.

Beautiful Multistory House by the Boardwalk

We had a large retreat and really enjoyed both the communal spaces, like the balconies and decks, and the apartments being in the same building. It made our over trip logistics much simpler and the walkable location made it easy for the group to have different activities to participate in nearby. Our workiversary party

From booking to messaging after the stay (a celebration card was inadvertently left behind-oops!) we were THRILLED with everything. For a beach stay it couldn't have been better. For a bunch of neat freaks, it couldn't have been better. We spent time at the boardwalk, cooked together, ate together, played games, laughed and cried. I can't imagine how it could have been any better!!! Thank you, thank you!!!

Cowells Beach Getaway

What a wonderful location to celebrate our parent’s 80th birthday! We all loved the proximity to the beach and great walks to the boardwalk and up West Cliff Drive to view Steamer’s lane. There was something to do for everyone in our group from age 19 to age 80! The two kitchens proved very useful in stocking up on food so we could park the cars (big shoutout for parking spots!) and enjoy the beautiful home and beach. Communication was prompt and very helpful. The video tours are awesome- don’t skip the elevator instructions! The stairs are steep and the elevator was great as a dumb waiter for groceries & luggage or for the members in our family with bad knees. Really great place to enjoy Santa Cruz!

Perfect Family Vacation

Excellent family vacation!

Wonderful family get away!

When you go on vacation you just want to enjoy your destination. This property had everything you might need in the kitchens and bathrooms. It was so we'll stocked with any amenities you might need. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Our instructions were very thorough and the property management was accessible and helpful when we needed them. We had a wonderful time and this property and the crazy good location made it the best.

Great stay for our friends get together

We booked all three floors and there was plenty of space for a large group. The location was amazing - very close to the beach and morning/evening views were great. One night we had all dinner on the terrace and it was perfect. Property has plenty of steps, but for our group they did not bother us. Elevator is a bit tricky to use, but was useful with luggage. Sarah was super responsive and very helpful. Overall, it worked out great for our friends get together.

The perfect family gathering

This rental was the perfect place for our family scattered thru-out Cali and other state to get together. We rented entire building and our own parking was a life saver. The view and distance to wharf, boardwalk and downtown was amazing for walking. The weather was perfect, we enjoyed everything about our stay. kitchen, rooms, upstairs patios were amazing. So much room, we could all have our own space, yet gather for dinner and fun. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Management was so helpful and easy to work with. Thank you so much for making our family weekend such a wonderful experience. We would definitely do this again.

Family Reunion in Santa Cruz

Overall, this place was great. Location can't be beat. A little noise from the street, but as expected at this location. A couple of detractions. Two nice kitchens but not as well equipped as you might expect for "gourmet" kitchen and meals for a large number of guests. And the tile floors, while they looked clean, were dirty. We all noticed the bottoms of our feet were black just from walking inside. The host could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Service was the best!

Incredible Location for our Cousins Reunion

We booked the entire villa for our first cousins' reunion. That was a great decision. We loved the multiple open spaces for conversation, the location (just a short walk to the Santa Cruz Wharf and Cowell Beach), the rooftop deck with its expansive view, the fully equipped kitchens, the multiple enclosed parking spaces, the information provided in preparation for our visit… it was just the perfect place for the 15 of us to meet.

Perfect home for our gathering

Our gathering was 17 of us….friends who graduated from high school in 1967. We used the whole place. It just couldn’t have been better. Alex was a dream to work with. Everything in the house was perfect! We’re all ready to do it again…before we get too old! ☺️

We designed this property and built it from the ground up in our favorite spot in Santa Cruz. Construction completed in October 2014. We used the finest building materials, and borrowed ideas on amenities from resorts we have visited around the world. There really isn't a better location to experience all the fun of Santa Cruz. The location puts in you a spot where you never have to get in your car to enjoy all that Santa Cruz has to offer. You could stay a month and not hit every restaurant in walking distance.

From the moment you drive up, you'll notice the arched toped hand hewn wooden doors, and when you step into your unit, you will find old world hand chiseled travertine stone floors through out. Enjoy your favorite drink from the bar in the kitchen, while watching the waves break on Cowells Beach. Dozen of restaurants are just outside your door, or if you like to cook, the Viking Range is professional quality. If you are travelling with Friends, you'll enjoy having two master suites, each with a kind size bed. We designed this property for our own enjoyment, and we hope you love it as much as we do!
