We loved our stay. Host was great with answering question after question. We have stayed at many locations over the last 20 years and this is one of the most beautiful spots on the lake. The water was shallow and great for swimming. Beautiful view!

Beautiful views, Clean House just as described

We had a great stay here for our first time to Lake George, we loved the views from the deck and the beautiful kitchen was great for feeding our group of 10. The kids enjoyed playing in the lower level. Everything was as described and very clean which we really appreciated.

Family Vacation

We had another great family vacation at Camp Knox. The house is perfect for our family. The location on the lake is perfect with sandy bottom and shallow waters. Our only issue is the amount of people allowed. This vacation is mainly for our elderly mom and we had to turn family away because we were allowed 8 people although the house sleeps 14-16. Other than that this is a perfect vacation spot on beautiful Lake George. Thank you Stephen

Immaculate and beautiful lake house!

This was our third stay at this beautiful lake house. The host is professional and thorough and very easy to work with. The house is immaculate with a giant kitchen and beautiful lake views. The flow of the house is very comfortable, each room and bathroom is clean. We love the lakefront yard and docks. We kept our boat at the dock for easy access to the lake. I highly recommend this property, you won’t be disappointed. :)

The perfect group getaway

This property is absolutely gorgeous with more than enough space for 10 girls celebrating a college reunion. The view of the lake from every level of the house is unreal, and the large dock is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. When some crazy weather led to a neighborhood-wide power outage during our weekend, we felt so lucky that the house had a backup generator so we could continue to enjoy our time. Stephen was extremely responsive with any questions we had and even kept us updated all day about the power situation. My only advice is to make sure you bring the essentials, because there were no extra toilet paper rolls, paper towels, trash bags, etc. All in all, we truly can’t recommend it here enough!!

Family Getaway

We had a fantastic time staying at Knox Camp. The house is beautiful with a huge family oriented kitchen with a large table to play games and do puzzles as well as dine. The outdoor areas are spacious and very comfortable. My entire family enjoyed every minute and would love to rent again. The owner was always available to answer our questions and address any situations that were raised. Thank you for the use of your home.

Paradise on Lake George

9 of us (3 generations) stayed at Camp Knox for the first week of August and enjoyed every moment of our vacation. We congratulate Steve and his family for creating such a perfect environment. The location of the house facing west on the lake brought us gorgeous sunsets. The house itself was perfect for our needs…5 bedrooms and 9 beds, a perfectly equipped kitchen with top of the line appliances, a large dining table that seated 10, plus stools at the sizable island where the little ones loved to eat their breakfast. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished throughout. The grounds leading to the lake were lovely and meticulously maintained, with flowering bushes and ornamental grasses. Having a dock where we were able to bring in the boat we rented was so convenient. And the kids loved swimming and fishing from the dock as well. Any questions or concerns that we had were quickly resolved by the caretakers…thank you, Kathy! If a Lake George vacation is a possibility for us next year, we will certainly try to book a return visit to the paradise of Camp Knox.

Beautiful. but barebones

The property was lovely and well-located steps from the water, just as advertised. The owner responded immediately to any inquiries. Be advised that anyone staying here has to provide all incidentals from covers for the beds to salt/pepper to soaps/paper products to any beach toys, kayaks, etc.

Excellent Stay

The house was fantastic, very modern and nicely furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location in Assembly Point is close to Lake George village and tourist attractions. Communication with Steve was very easy

Luxurious Waterfront Home on Lake George

Beautiful luxurious home on Lake George. The kitchen has every amenity you can think of with a huge refrigerator freezer, large island for prepping food and dining area for ten people. There are two decks facing Lake George where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the boats go by. We were celebrating our 60th Anniversary with our children & grandkids and there was plenty of room for the 10 adults in our family. The location on the lake was perfect and away from the noise and crowds of Lake George Village. We had our own private dock for the two boats we rented. The men in our family fished every morning and we all enjoyed tubing and cruising along the lake every afternoon. At night, it is the perfect spot for enjoying the fireworks going off in Lake George Village. We only had one rainy day and there was ping pong, an indoor basketball hoops game, fuzball, and 4 TV's in the house to keep us occupied. My only regret - we had to go home after 7 days - we wish we could have stay longer!

spectacular lakeside home w/ dock

gorgeous lakeside home. interacting with people servicing property was easy. Place is great for kids and there is a dock in the backyard, we rented a boat for the week - was perfect.

Beautiful Lake George waterfront Home

This waterfront home had everything our family was hoping for. Great dock for our 24 foot boat. Sandy bottom swim areas; gourmet kitchen with modern appliances; wonderful game room with bar on lower level; two large outdoor decks. I would highly recommend this house. The Assembly Point location is the. Best.

Superb Home!

Wonderful location! Not too far from Lake George town or other activities, but far enough to stay out of the main stream hubbub. The house has a great setup. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 kiddos; 3, 5 and 7 year old. Kids LOVED their bunk room! We loved the 1st floor master, away from the kitchen. 1st floor community bathroom and laundry is behind the kitchen next to mudroom off garage. Don’t even know that they’re there. Views of the lake from 3 of the bdrms! Downstairs is large with several game tables, sofa, TV and bar. The littles could run back and forth there without getting in our hair upstairs. The view of the lake is fantastic! It had the sunset, but that meant the deck would get HOT. Could use an umbrella or slide out awning for shelter. No matter, the grandkids were in swimming off the dock, when we weren’t out on the boat, from morning till night. Water is crystal clear! Water around the doc was low enough for 2 of them as they could either touch, about 3ft+ nearer to the shore or swim to the dock end ladder which was about 4ft+. The bottom is sand and you really don't need water shoes. We used Chic’s Marina as they had the biggest pontoon boat for rental. Fishing was great. Everyone that put a line in the water caught something. My 6 yr old granddaughter caught the biggest bass that many around the lake have seen! The stove when we arrived, 6 burners, only lite 2 burners when ignited, but after use I think all were working. The grill is downstairs which made it a bit challenging when making dinner. That also needed some help. The heat diffusers are badly corroded and the ends are rusted out, but the guys them balanced for the 2 times we needed to use it. Kitchen was great. No one was in anyone’s way when preparing dinners. Fridge and freezer are large so no issues with that and the wine fridge held all can and bottle drinks. Beds were comfortable, a real plus when vacationing. The driveway is STEEP with a turn. Great bum workout walking up it! The negative is that the only soft surfaces in the house, besides the beds, are the 2 sofas. The house tends to get LOUD! I’m assuming that having no area rugs anywhere is for quick cleaning of the floors. So maybe some soft hangings on the walls throughout would stop all the echoing and buffer the noise. Owner was quick to respond with any questions and checked in with us upon arrival to make sure all was good. All in all it’s a most wonderful house to vacation or live in.

Peace and quiet

Great new house with luxury kitchen and other appointments. Very clean. Nice lawn and gently sloping sandy lake bed. Quiet, private neighborhood for peaceful walks. Owner responds quickly to any questions.

Great family vacation! First time in Lake George and it won’t be our last! The house was just what we needed. Has a lot of space. And the hill to and from the boat dock was great cardio workout! .

Gorgeous Lake side home

We had an absolute PHENOMENAL stay in the beautiful lakefront Lake George home. This house gives everything you need to have a great vacation on the lake. The house is stunning (the kitchen is as advertised in the pictures- absolutely beautiful!) The dock is great and even has steps/ladders to let you walk into the lake for those that don't want to just jump in! My family really enjoyed a most relaxing lake holiday and can't wait to come back some day!

Beautiful House!

This is a beautiful house on the lake. The house is clean and fully stocked, the kitchen is really impressive. The landscaping is gorgeous and the lake is right there for you to enjoy. Communication with the owner was speedy and professional. I would recommend this property highly. 😎

Camp Knox weekend

This is a beautiful house on an amazing waterfront location. Even though we were only there for a weekend, we are already talking about a return visit for a longer stay. The views of the lake, the sunset, and the fall colors was spectacular. There is something for everybody in this house. The kitchen is enormous and perfect for large groups. There is a kids room with 4 beds that was perfect for us, the bedrooms are all very nice especially the master bedroom on the ground floor which was great for the grandparents. The basement is awesome, with a full bar and game room, plus an extra bedroom and bathroom. The capacity of the house is listed at 10 people, but it seems like the house could easily accommodate much more than that. We were a little surprised by the lack of basic supplies like soap and shampoo, make sure to bring your own! The TVs were a little tricky to use but the kids were able to connect their video game easily. Lake George village is about a 15 minute drive away. We will definitely be planning another trip back to this house!
