Originally built as an Ice House during the prohibition, this unique home is one of very few that actually sits over the water. Due to its proximity to the lake, this home boasts unbeatable views of the widest part of Lake George at the base of Northwest Bay. Some of the best views can be seen from the cozy second floor family room, perfect for indoor games, reading and relaxing. The master bedroom also features its own private balcony. The home is equipped with a U-shaped private dock, an expansive lakeside deck, geothermal air conditioning / heating, as well as a propane BBQ grill, WiFi, dish washer and washer / dryer. There is plenty of room for parking with an attached garage and separate carport. This house is conveniently located within walking distance of the quaint town of Bolton and under 2 miles away from Sagamore Golf Club. The town offers restaurants, shops, public parks and beaches. Also available during the winter season, the house is about 40 minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Resort.

House was even better in person than in the photos! Plenty of space for our party of 10. The house had everything we could need including games, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, and lots of other things to use in the water. Wonderful location on the lake. Close to the Sagamore and the lovely town of Bolton Landing with its cute shops and restaurants. Michael was a great host. Very responsive and made check in and out a breeze!

Words cannot properly describe this property. As you can see it is situated right on the lake. The inside of the property is even nicer than what the pictures depict. Everything you will need is there.We rented a boat for the week from Captain Bob's and kept it at the dock. If you're considering getting boat, go to Captain Bob's. He is right there about 5 houses down and he will treat you good. And if it's your first time, do not worry about getting lost. This property is in a perfect spot. All you need to do is keep Dome Island and The Sagamore in view. You can never get lost. Also, Log Bay is right across the lake where you can anchor the boat and swim/stand whatever you want to do in waste deep water.One day we took off on the boat and accidently popped the yellow duck float that was on the dock. When we got back, we saw what looked like a duck funeral, lol. From the attached pictures you can see 7 ducks sitting on the dock around the duck float while one decided to lounge on our float. That one must be the leader.

…by the lake

Our objective was to come together from being a scattered family and laugh by the lake, love by the lake, talk by the lake, lounge by the lake, rediscover each other by the lake and relax by the lake. We did this in abundance and found bliss. The house was as clean as the crystal clear lake itself! I blame the owners! Micheal was not only at the end of the phone in the middle of the night as the alarm sounded, but also he seemed happy to be there helping us. Exquisite morning mountains being kissed by the sun and magical lapping lake water to usher in every new day made it impossible not to rent this piece of heaven for the same time next year before putting my head on the pillow in my real life once more!

CAN'T GET A BETTER VIEW!

The view was very enjoyable. Weather permitting, we sat on the front porch or the sun chairs. The house is right ON THE WATER. There is plenty of room in the house. The boat dock was easy to get in and out of also. The owners were very nice and got back to me right away.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful home. The expansive deck sits right on the water’s edge allowing easy access for swimming, paddleboard, kayaking and fishing from the dock. The house interior very comfortably accommodated our family of 10. The pictures are accurate, however they don’t do justice to how spectacular this house really is. The host provided a garage full of kayaks, paddle boards, noodles, and kids floats.. For rainy days there are games, puzzles and books for all ages. This is by far the best house we have rented on the lake and we would love to rent here again.

Perfect family vacation spot

My husband and I hosted a family vacation for our adult kids and their partners and this house was the perfect setting. The house is just like it looks on the app, with a dining room table that easily sat the 7 of us and a large open family room/ sun room perfect for everyone to gather together at the end of the day. As others have mentioned, there really is everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. What I didn’t expect was how our hosts made sure we would have fun during our stay. In addition to the two kayaks that are mentioned on the website, our hosts provided us with stand up paddle boards, pool noodles, and a huge floating hammock that we could use to enjoy the lake which is literally touching the house. And if it’s raining, there are puzzles, books and games galore. The location is idyllic, surrounded by the lake and tucked away in the woods. For bird lovers, a family of mergansers visited us on the dock, and we heard loons calling to each other every night of our trip. We were sad to leave and hope to return some day!

Excellent Location for Our Family Reunion

The location of the house is amazing, right on the edge of the water with a fantastic view to the mountains. It made it very easy to jump into the available kayaks or canoe. The few questions we had were answered promptly by the owner. Everybody enjoyed to be there and would love to go back. Steen

Perfect Vacation

This vacation home was the perfect setting for our extended family vacation. Everyone left with wonderful memories. The beautiful home and amazing setting can't be beat. Everything we needed was provided, the house was perfectly clean, and the few quick questions we had were promptly answered by the owner. Having the ability to dock two boats was a big enhancement. Would love to do this again.

Life at The Lake

From the minute we arrived. WOW ! If you can even believe , better than the pictures … From the layout of the house to the cleanliness of the house. Over the top. The owners are not only gracious , they are kind and attentive ( when needed, to even just answer questions or suggestions for dinner ). Even though , we did not need much, as the house is perfect in many ways. We truly felt like it was home away from home. Thank you Moore Family. We had an amazing summer on the Lake!

Excellent location for family getaway

Our adult children, their partners, and our older parents all loved this location on Lake George with its expansive views. The deck sits right on the waters edge and makes swimming and boating so easy. Tons of places to hang out to read, play games and enjoy meals! Bolton Landing is a short drive away. We left feeling so relaxed and happy!

Perfection

We just ended our week at this perfect property. The location is amazing, Bolton Landing is such a cute town. The house was perfect for our multi generational family- my parents had the main floor bedroom, the kids and another couple the other 3 bedrooms and we had the master. The layout of the property was perfect for our needs. The sunrises over the lake were magical and the fishing was outstanding- my 6 year old nephew caught 30 fish right off the dock! We had daily visitors (ducks, ducklings, fish and a turtle) and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. The communication with the owner was easy when we had questions. It is a little tricky to find off the main road. Such an amazing location, such and amazing vacation. Thank you!

Perfection!

We so enjoyed this beautiful property. This is our best experience to date with home rentals. Every detail in this home is perfect and high quality. The views are amazing, and staying on such a gorgeous fall weekend was incredibly special. The windows that open up across the house, from the master and the sitting room (on 2nd floor) take your breath away. We had the very best experience! Thank you!

Great property for family visit

This was our second visit to the beautiful lake house. A few repair/maintenance issues were pending with both bath tubs which made bath time for the little ones a bit challenging but everyone is chill at the lake so we managed. Overall this is a nice property for family time.

Lake George Paradise

We stayed a week in the middle of August 2022. We all had a great time and the house was everything we had expected. Great location near Bolton Landing and on the widest part of the lake. Great fishing for the kids from the dock and swimming from the dock was also great. No seaweed on the bottom, the water is very clear and deep at the dock, so jumping in is safe for those that can swim. Small children should best have flotation devices or very attentive adults on the dock. The dock is also perfect for a large boat and it is easy to get in and out of the docking space to and from the lake. Highly recommended for those that love the water and views of the mountains. Will do this again next year, if available.

Wonderful home right on the water - with a location that can't be beat.

The owners of the property were very accommodating and always there to answer any of our questions. We loved the home - great layout for my two teenage daughters and a few if their friends plus two grandparents. The home had something to offer us all. The dock was great for our rented pontoon and swimming for the kids- all within 10 feet from view in the living room. Best fishing right off the dock. Great location - two minutes to town for restaurants and supplies. Will rent again- thank you Michael!

Snow bound on the Lake

Clean, beautiful, great views of the snow covered lake and mountains. Driveway and road down to house — good to have 4 wheel drive in winter conditions and a bit tough to find at night.

The only way to stay at Lake George

The property was perfectly maintained and the house layout was perfect for a weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some great dinners and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when we wanted to be away from the group. We will be booking this property next fall all over again.

Beautiful home.

It was a lovely 2 day stay. This is a beautiful home set right on the lake. It has everything you could think of and was quite comfortable for 8 people. The only thing we wished for was a light outside near the BBQ. Looking forward to renting it again!
