Wonderful house with so much to do and so well maintained. Terrific communication and amenities.Kitchen was incredibly well equipped. The party garage is incredible. Everything worked perfectly.

Beautiful home with lake access.

This was our second time staying here, and we had a great time. The house is awesome, and we really enjoyed the hot tub, game room, and lake access. We spent a lot of time swimming and fishing off the dock; all of my kids caught plenty of fish and had a blast! The hosts are just a call away if you need anything. We will definitely be back for a third stay.

Relaxing Stay in the Adirondack Woods.

Our group of 9 women had such a great time during our stay at the property. Lots of things to do at the house or of you want to relax, many areas to tuck away and nap. Short drive into town and short drive to the lake. Great place to stay.

Wonderful hose and incredibly kind host

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was very cozy, clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The home has a great atmosphere and truly feels like a place to relax and unwind. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free getaway.

Absolutely fantastic From start to finish

The property is just great. The details of the house are exquisite and beautiful. We had a 70th girls birthday weekend extravaganza and it was fantastic. The party barn was outstanding with all the amenities, including the karaoke machine. The host,James was on board at any time if there was anything that we needed. We also did the s’mores package, which was so much fun with the guest of honor, Bigfoot attending! The casino setup was great too. I would definitely recommend the Bolton Bear House for a fantastic stay in the Adirondacks. It was spotless

Family Wedding Vacation!

All our family was in town for wedding and this house has everything! Lots of bedrooms + additional sleeping areas (we had 14 people!). Also, lots of bathrooms - all larger than average. Favorite spot was the screened porch where we can enjoy the fresh air with our morning coffee...with seating for 12! Plus 2 picnic tables on the deck. The house and the grill were all very clean and kitchen had every imaginable size pot and any utensils we needed. Plenty of plates, mugs, glasses and silverware for our big group. Love the completely fenced in yard for our doggo and the landscaping overall is lovely. Big plus for me is the separate game garage so if people want to play after others went to bed it wasn't noisy. Private road to dock area allows for great morning walks! Took us a bit to get the thermostat where we liked it, but had it by day 4 ;) Prefer to be near Bolton Landing vs. Lake George Village, as it's a more manageable 'downtown' - still tons of restaurants.

Family getaway

This is an amazing property, The house has everything you could possibly imagine in it, extra blankets, every TV channel, A television and every room, every amenity you can think of no detail spared. They thought of everything . A short drive to the grocery store and multiple restaurants. Although, not exactly on the lake. It’s a short walk down to it. My kids loved the game . This is probably the best VRBO that I’ve ever stayed in.

Something for everyone

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays and we wanted to have the whole family. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. There were so many games and activities to do that we didn't even get to all of them. Next time I guess we'll have to stay longer! The owners were very responsive when we needed a few incidentals and they celebrated our birthdays with balloons, gifts, cards, cookies and a cookie cake! There's a backyard with a fire pit beautiful landscaping surrounding it. This home is off the beaten path, very private, but minutes away from the town of Bolton landing. And I wanted to thank equator sauna rentals for the amazing sauna experience. Delivered right to the house, we enjoyed it so much! Everything that you could possibly need is provided at this house and if you have any questions or need something else, contact the team at Lake George Vacay And they will get right back to you! Rent the bear house for fun and relaxation!

Perfect Retreat

The house was perfect for a gathering of old friends who love to cook, fish, and tell tales of ribaldry! Everything was super easy from check-in to check-out. The house has a great layout and a bunch of fun features, including bears, a a hot tub, a game room, bears, and extra-special touches that were created for our group specifically. That personal touch goes a long way. Also, bears! The local caretaker swung by once or twice to make sure everything was good, which we appreciated. In summary, we had a blast, felt super comfortable and the managers made everything simple and special. Would for sure stay there again (or at another property under the same management). Minor feedback: The walk to the lake was easy but I'd suggest a little map or drawing showing the best way to get to the access point (sorry if we missed it). And the road to the house was very icy, but weather was happening all weekend so may have been a freak occurrence.

Favorite week of the year!!

This is the second year in a row that my family and I have stayed at the Bolton Bear house!! Just as it was last year. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here.!! the house is kept immaculately clean and is so very comfortable for our very large family of 10 people!! I give this rental a 10 out of 10 and I know your family would enjoy it as much as ours has and will continue to do so in the future!!!

So happy we booked here!!

We had the best time! The house was awesome and had everything we needed. We actually opted to stay in both nights instead of going out! We all fit comfortably and can’t wait to come back! James, the property manager was super responsive and his recommendations were spot on! He also recommended The LAN chef for our private chef experience and it was INCREDIBLE!
