Joyce was wonderfully communicative from the moment we booked. The property was exactly as described and served our every need for a short trip to Black Mountain. Nice touches included the coupons provided for their sister restaurant across the street and also for a few free pints downstairs in the brewery. Temperatures fell to the mid 20's during our stay, but the apartment was equipped with numerous space heaters that satisfactorily meet our needs. Also, thank you to Lucy in the brewery for your hospitality, too.

Best place in black mountain

Beautiful clean (spotless) comfortable beds ..everything you need in walking distance.. Joyce was amazing to book with. She was the best ....every attention to detail to make our stay great. We absolutely would give this 10 stars if we could. Nicest place with the best amenities. Kitchen stocked with pans utensils plates ..sugar and spices were there too. Can't say enough good about this place and Joyce. Plus delicious beer right under your apartment

Weekend getaway

Perfect location to visit the Asheville area. Black Mountain has everything we were looking for and staying above a brewery within walking distance to everything was great! Loved the old charm of the Bldg and the beer below! Hope to return!

Black Mountain’s best kept secret!

From the moment the booking went through, to the end of our stay John, the host, made us feel welcomed and kept in touch during our stay. Lucy, the barkeep, welcomed us with a complimentary beer and lots of information on the town & local restaurants. She even went so far as to get us coffee after her shift when she learned we were out. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. This is an excellent place for 2 couple to stay and is probably the most convenient lodging to downtown Black Mountain. The scheduled trains can be loud as the pass, but the ear plugs provided did the trick. My only recommendation for the owners would be to advertise this place as a “Bed & Brew” and offer interested travelers a lesson on brewing and the ability to help brew beer if they desire. Keep the beer cold, we will be returning!

For price, little upset with condition of ceiling. Understand it is on owner’s list to fix. Single bath might be issue for two women plus men, non-factor for couple. Location great, everyone is very friendly, we were very comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Loved morning on the Adirondack chairs on the deck.

Amazing!

John & his wife are amazing! They greeted us kindly and left the most amazing local popcorn! The fact that the apartment is over a TapHouse was also great! We got to listen to amazing music prior to attending our own event and meet some great people while sitting on the balcony. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and hope to use the property in the future!

Unique spot in the perfect location!

Our weekend getaway was made perfect with this awesome stay. Great views of mountains and downtown streets. We were steps away from everything! The master bedroom has the comfiest bed ever and I loved the antique chic decor. Plenty of room in the best spot in town. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will most definitely be back here!

Perfect Location! You are in walking distance to everything. Fun Shops and lots of restaurants. Everyone was super friendly at the brewery. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Very chill atmosphere . We loved it. Thank you!

Great time in Black Mountain!

We had a fantastic stay at the brewery. The location is perfect for exploring the super cool town of Black Mtn and all the area attractions. Asheville is a short drive. Best of all the owners and staff at the Brewery were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The beer is superb at the brewery just down the steps..We had a great stay and would stay again.

Great unique place

Fantastic location and very nice owner. Lucy, the bartender, was very helpful and recommended the best place and venue which turned out to be the most memorable experience of our whole trip!

Best location in Black Mountain

We had an incredible time staying in the apartment over the brewery. The location was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful and everything was incredibly clean. We were surprised to find a lovely basket of local goodies awaiting us as well as lovely touches throughout. The brewery below is equally warm and inviting. We found Lucy ) I think that was her name) to be an absolute delight. I will certainly book again when Black Mountain is on my itinerary. Thanks for the hospitality.

Quaint town, friendly people, great location!

My husband and I traveled to Black Mountain for a weekend getaway and birthday celebration. The apartment above the brewery had everything we needed and more! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend, the master bedroom bed was super comfortable, and the living room space was the perfect size. The entire apartment was very clean and well stocked. We love this town. There are plenty of restaurants and other establishments within walking distance of the apartment. Great hiking is just up the road. I highly recommend this apartment and can not wait to return! Plus, how fun is it to just walk downstairs to have a pint!
