Fishing Awesomeness!

The property is exactly as described. Its close proximity to the Syracuse Lake ramp makes it ideal for tournament fisherman!

Comfortable accommodations for boating and fishing

This was a great place to house three teens for a week of sailing camp. The roofed porch proved a llifesaver during our four days of scattered showers, and the home theater set-up and large collection of DVDs was fun. The kitchen is very well-stocked. We also appreciated the piers, extensive outdoor seating, and convenient location.

Enjoyed our stay

This home is exactly as it is shown, very clean and well supplied. If you need to rent a boat, be sure to do so ahead of time.

Nice property-would return & recommend

This home was as described. We were not disappointed. We brought our ski boat and were able to dock at the pier with no issues. Best part was it was on a channel so your boat doesn’t get beat up and the launch is almost across the street! The negatives were few but there were a couple. One was that my husband left his shoes on the dedicated pier and somebody walked off with them. We had to scramble to find shoes-luckily Dollar General was open. Another was the blinds are not light blocking so when the sun comes shining in those who like to sleep, as our friends do, could not & the blinds in the 3rd bedroom were broken deeming that room unusable as they would not come down. The only other improvement I could suggest is a decent sized skillet-all the skillets we could find were only omelette sized. With that being said, we enjoyed the home and would recommend it and we would definitely return.

Kim, thank you so much for your review. I will get that blind fixed as soon as possible. There was a griddle and a couple larger skillets on the top shelf where most of the pots and pans are located. I will have my housekeeper put one down lower where it is more visible. I am also sorry about your husband's shoes! We usually never have a problem with leaving anything out. I am glad you had a good stay and look forward to your return!

Perfect family getaway

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids ages 5-8 and stayed for 3 nights. This was such a great getaway for us! Three of us are nurses and really needed a little escape from the hospital and all its craziness lately. I dont know that I have ever stayed at a house as well equipped as this one! The kitchen had everything in it you could think of needing and we kept finding other gems along the way like games for the kids, tons of life jackets, big selection of movies, projector in the living room, plenty of outdoor seating, and lots of bed linens. The channel where the house sits is quiet and it was easy to get to the boat launch. We rented a pontoon from Clark's and it was quick to bring it down to the dock. Having more than one dock at the house was great for fishing because we could spread the kids out. The house sits near the end of the channel so not much traffic through there. The outdoor covered patio was perfect for morning coffee, dinnertime and evening card playing. Taking the canoe and kayaks out in the mornings was a great way to start the day. We loved every minute of our stay and would love to stay here again!

Another Great Vacation At the Lake

My family had a great time at this lake house. It was very clean and comfortable with great internet service, Town is very nice and lot to do and places to eat out, The house is on a channel and water is very clear and clean, but no view of the lake still very nice. plus boat launch is very nice and close. Syracuse lake and connecting lake Wawasee is a very clean and great for swimming at sand bars and water sports. What fishing we did for the time of year was not bad. I would stay here again and would recommend for a vacation get away.

Great location and clean, roomy home!

Wonderful home right on the edge of the lake - very relaxing with plenty of outdoor seating plus kayaks/canoe to enjoy the water as well! Very clean and comfortable. No TV but good internet access (allowed kids to watch Netflix). Full kitchen for cooking but also very close to restaurants. We will be returning for future stays!
