Tahoe City Meadowfront Townhouse ~ Family Getaway!

Our lovely townhouse is an incredible 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath two story home situated on a giant open space meadow near Tahoe City in the Lake Forest Glen complex, only a short walk through the woods to beaches at Bristlecone and Skylandia. The grounds are incredibly beautiful with many pines, aspens and annual flowers. We are right next to the bike trail that takes you into Tahoe City and along the West Shore or up along the Truckee River. We are close to skiing at Palisades/Alpine, Northstar and Homewood, ice skating in Tahoe City, and lots of opportunities for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and snowball fights!

Ours is a two-story end unit with lots of light and privacy! The master suite has its own bathroom, walk-in closet and overlooks the meadow. Our furnishings are comfortable and represent the true mountain ambiance you desire for your home away from home! We have a stone fireplace, a full kitchen with granite counters, hickory cabinets, gas stove, stainless side by side fridge, dishwasher, microwave and disposal, full separate laundry room...all overlooking the fabulous view!

We have a smallish flat screen HD Smart TV, DVD player, bluetooth speaker, and high speed wireless internet. Our deck overlooks the meadow and has an all-weather table and chairs as well as a propane BBQ. The deck is south and west facing, so it is great for sunning, entertaining and watching great sunsets. We have a lockable ski locker for all your gear just outside the front entrance to make getting to and from the slopes easier! There is a family pool very close to our unit: the quiet pool, hot tub and sauna are a short walk through the complex. The hot tub and sauna are open all winter. The complex also includes tennis/pickleball courts and a small playground area.

Tahoe City is just a few minutes away, with a Safeway, fun restaurants, movie theater, shops, ice cream, coffee shops, farmer's markets and concerts at Commons Beach. River rafting on the Truckee is fun when conditions allow for that!

This is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy an easy and affordable vacation; everything you need to have fun and relax is right here!

Please be aware that this home is in the mountains: there can be severe weather, ice and snow at times in the winter. Bears are active in the area so it is important to follow guidelines about disposing of trash, not leaving food in cars, keeping the house secured when you are not there. There may be occasional power and wifi outages due to weather, and the back deck and BBQ are not safe to use when the roof is loaded with snow and ice.

Sorry, no pets are allowed in this Homeowners Association, unless you're the owner of the unit.

This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!

All bedrooms are upstairs, and the stairs may not be safe for small children who are unsupervised.

We have parking for two cars right in front of the unit, extra cars can be accommodated in the overflow parking area. Cars will need to be moved for snowplowing after a big snow.
