This welcoming home is ideal with its gorgeous interior and immense deck that looks out over Beck-in-Ridge Horse Farms. Enjoy the lovely gathering areas as well as views of the back lawn and the surrounding countryside. The jacuzzi tub and the wet bar will help craft the perfect experience for your group. Please note that this property does not have A/C.

Wonderful House

Our party pretty much loved everything about this house. The layout works well, there's lots of space. If I had to nitpick I'd say the kitchen could use a 2 quart pot. (Digging deep to find a complaint,huh?)

Bathrooms are dated but clean! Our large family loved that 3 separate king bedrooms w separate bathrooms and plenty of room for kid sleeping and games. 3 levels w 3 thermostats. Nice kitchen with appropriate dishwater for servings and cooking! All was greatā€¦ā€¦UNTIL bedtime when we discovered mouse droppings INSIDE one of the beds. We too live in a rural area. Yes, there are mice in and out of garages - which are controlled and definitely NOT in our beds! Until the pest problem under control. We cannot recommend.

Great for 3-family ski trip

This was a perfect place for our 3 families while we skied Boyne Highlands. There was a king bedroom on each level and the 6 kids had a slumber party in the basement between the bunk beds and 2-twin bedroom. We all really enjoyed the den with the wood burning fireplace. It was convenient to skiing and we went snowshoeing right out the back door. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was an absolute gem. My family of 10 stayed here and we all had room to roam.

The perfect weekend

This house was perfect for our three family get together with children! We each had a floor and the adults each slept in king size bed ! We used the big yard for the kids to run around and get out energy and they loved seeing the horses in the pasture right in the backyard too! We had a nice fire in the cozy sitting room and were even visited by a family of deer right at sunset! We had a great time and will definitely book another get together in the future!

Birchwood stay

Nice location, close to downtown HS but tranquil setting. Birchwood has a great pool, ponds and outdoor setting. This property overlooks a horse farm. Overall nice property with plenty of room. Downside is that cookware was limited, and could have used a cleaning.

View and location

This house is in a great location - close to town and looking over a beautiful field with horses. It is mostly very quiet and it worked for us for the period of time we were there. However, some things you should know before renting: No grill, no comfortable deck chairs, limited kitchen (if you want to cook), some evidence of critters in the house.

Beautiful grounds

This home is set in Birchwood Farms. There is a golf course, a clubhouse a beautiful pool and tennis courts, all a long walk or short bike ride away. This feels dreamy. The view from the back deck allows you to see a glimpse of the lake, the trees and the horses from the neighboring farm. The house is large and easily sleeps 9 in beds. There are more beds however no one wanted to sleep in them. This is why the house did not get 5 stars. The other two twin beds are downstairs in a ā€œclosetā€. I am not sure what else to call it. That would have been fine, it doubled as a storage room for a toddler bed and crib too. This all would have still been ok, but the light in the panel ceiling was filthy. It was obvious that no one had cleaned it, maybe not in a while. There were dead bugs in it and when you lay in the bed thatā€™s what you stared at. The beds themselves looked very neglected and the comforter was dirty with possibly dog slobber, Iā€™m hoping and dog hair. It also lacked central air as was listed. There is an air conditioning unit I in the main level bedroom. If the house did not have this room or it was locked or cleaned it would have received 5 stars because we enjoyed it. It does not let me only take half a star. The kitchen could definitely use an update because the bottom cabinets are sinking down probably due to moisture. Overall this is a great rental and we loved being up in beautiful Spring Harbor.

Great view of Lake Michigan

House was very well stocked in dishes and supplies. Plenty of space for our 10 people. We would stay again. The only drawbacks were some drawers/cupboards in kitchen were broken and there were dressers we could not use because we were afraid they might break. Great gathering space for multiple families to spend time together!

Nice home, lots of room.

3 large bedrooms and many more beds for kids. Well-furnished kitchen. (Except has glass cook-top.). Dishwasher, washer/dryer. Whirlpool tub is kind of oddā€” not really a jetted tub, but the water just goes around in one direction. Itā€™s a beautiful communityā€”all very scenic. We had a great stay. Also communicating with the rental agency was so simpleā€” they text on check-in day so you can easily ask any questions that come up and get a really fast response.

Fantastic

Overall this house was perfect for our needs. We went up North for a ski trip with family and friends, and the house set up was pretty good. We would stay here again in the future. Oh, and if you like nature, we probably saw 100 deer over our 3 day stay outside the complex just roaming around.

Great location, good for groups

We stayed here for a ski weekend. Great location, close to Nubā€™s and Boyne Highlands. Pretty drive to downtown Harbor Springs, even on snow-covered roads. The house was more than equipped for a large group - lots of beds, two nice living rooms, and beautiful grounds to look at. Nice community and clubhouse, too.

Great place for a weekend ski get-a-way

Meadows Bliss was a perfect place for our guys weekend at the slopes. A few of us are past the "ski all weekend" age and would rather relax, so having all the lounging areas worked out great. The house was clean and well equipped for a weekend of downtime. Thanks for opening your home for us.

I hate giving reviews especially when you find a gem like this. Really nice house, great views.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house from the fireplace to the horses out in the stables,. The kids had a ball and the adults liked the space for everyone. A little further from the hills, but worth it.
