Historic raised Tybee cottage, very cool, comfortable and oh so Tybee!

Situated on a quiet residential street just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping, with all the feel of a lay-back beach house. There is a screened porch along the front and a great deck complete with palm trees in back. Many of the original details are still there, bead board walls, pine floors, even a claw foot tub. The kitchen is updated and very easy to work in. There are two bedrooms, one with a king and a twin and one with a queen. The fenced in backyard makes it an easy house for children or pets. There is off street parking and lots of room for bicycles and beach toys

With the ocean only a short walk away, its a great home to bring your beach toys, kayaks, fishing gear or just relax with a good book. Tybee Island offers many options for great beach fun.

The Lighthouse is a must along with the Ft. Screvens Museum and the Tybee Marine Science Center. The Tybee post Theatre is a good option for an evening of movies or live performances. The library and YMCA as well as the picnic park and playground are just a short walk away. You can go for a beach walk, check out the dolphins or sea turtles, go fishing off the big Atlantic pier or move around the corner to the back river pier. Kayaks, bicycles, golf carts and surf boards are all available for rent or bring your own. Enjoy Yoga on the beach or maybe set up and paint the wonderful scenes.
