SSW 110 is a 1 bedroom condominium on the ground floor of the Sonoran Sea Resort. Great interior space for 2 guests, and a patio that opens out to the expansive grounds by the 3 resort pools, sun deck with lounge chairs, and ever-popular swim-up bar.

Made up of 2 towers, the Resort lines up along the beach allowing all units an oceanfront view. This unit faces the city, with a view of the lights as the sun goes down.

Rocky Point is the beach lots of Arizonan's call their own. Easy to get to, a stay at SSW 110 brings you the best the town has to offer.

Great place to stay

I will strongly suggest you open the bar for longer hours, makes that pool one of the adults pools only, had a great time but I was trying to enjoy a cocktail I did not liked gettin splashed into my cocktail every 5 min.

Everything was perfect

We would love to stay at this condo again. It was exactly what my family needed. Ground level location is perfect with little ones.

The condo was perfect and the location was even better.

The condo was exactly as described. The management company was less than perfect. The check in process was unbelievably slow and after we were done we were told to wait for a phone call that never happened. Eventually we got in and the ac wasn't on so it was 81 degrees inside.

Great location bottom floor, it was full of mosquitos. We communicated to the front desk, and told us they might have some repellent for us to buy at the store next to the front desk. They didn’t have any, we had to go buy some in town. The sliding doors had so many, they were everywhere. They were not to concern about it. The bed spread didn’t smell good, so we tried to wash a blanket from the closet. They all stunk. We washed one and it was hard to use the washer/dryer without instructions. We looked on YouTube, and it took three hours to wash and two to not completely dry the blanket. The bed skirt is dirty and too long, so you can trip on it. The hand towels in the kitchen had guacamole in them. We have been to Sonoran Sea many times, and we like it because of its cleanliness and food and drinks by the pool. To our surprise they closed it because there were not enough guests, we were very disappointed. They should let VRBO k ow when they will close the bar.

Loved this ground floor condo!

We visit Rocky Point every couple of months and this was by far one of the nicest resorts. The grounds crew were very relaxed and didn't hover over you like they do at the other resorts. I also loved being on the ground floor. Very easy access to the pool and beach. Very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. They provided washing detergent which I thought was very nice. I didn't like that there wasn't purified water available or an ice dispenser. They had a very nice stocked kitchen for preparing meals with plenty of pots and pans. I also was disappointed that they didn't have a smart tv for streaming Netflix, or Hulu, or a smart tv so I could cast from my phone to the TV. I would stay here again though. It would be my first choice, I just wish they would update fridge w/ ice maker, water filter, and smart TV's. They had big nice TV's and it was a shame we couldn't utilize those. They did have DVD's for use which is nice, but outdated. Overall I give this condo an 8/10. It was very relaxing and beautiful! Thank you for lending us your place. We truly enjoyed it!

great location

The stay was great until our next door neighbors would leave for the day and their barking dogs would not shut up.... We complained to the front desk but were told that the next door people were actually owners and that they were allowed to have their noisy dogs there. But they did advise that they would talk to them about the issue. Other than no peace and quite the stay was great..

Worst VRBO Yet

Sonoran resorts themselves are just fine. This condo though...the furniture it broken, the blinds are tattered and don't blind much, the locks are in need of repair (we didn't lock the door while there for fear we would not get in again), the sheets/blanket are thin, three towels for two people for three nights, one dish rag, no paper towels. But hey, we had one roll of toilet paper!
