Perfect fall break destination

We love this area. The weather was perfect and beautiful for the beach. The condo had everything we needed. Even the short walk to the beach is idyllic.

I love the location of North Breakers at SSI and we have rented this unit before. The unit is very nice; however, it is getting a little bit worn and could use some TLC. The freezer door seal is malfunctioning and we had to buy duct tape to keep the freezer door shut the entire stay so our ice and freezer items would stay frozen. I called and reported this and several other things to the office but did not hear back. The unit was very clean and we would stay there again, but it could use a little bit of refreshing.

Great Stay and Location!

We really enjoyed staying in this condo, it was located in a perfect spot. Beach front access along with dining just minutes away, it was perfect for us. Only regret is we wished to stay longer! Be aware of the older lady residents, they tend to stare you down when you’re coming in and out the gated entrance!

Getaway

The condo was older but nicely decorated and clean. The master bathtub drain was clogged and drained very slowly. When you showered you were standing in a few inches of water. No other complaints.

Honest and accurate review

Unit needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Including the stained rugs. A lot of interior trim is rusty and chipped paint, and other marks all over the walls. Some of the dishes were not thoroughly clean too.

Nice condo but master bed matters needs to be replaced

We liked the condo but had to sleep in the twin beds because the master bed mattress is shot. The mattress has deep body groves that make it almost impossible to sleep on. If the mattress was replaced we would rent the condo again. We were in the condo for four weeks. Great location. Everything else was nice.

St Simons Beach Vacation

Overall the property was excellent. Loved the size and location. Plenty of room for three adults. Mosquitos were very bad the first couple of days but much better after the spray treatment. The kitchen could be a little better supplied. We like to cook and prefer better equipment. However we will know what to bring with us on future visits. Very nicely furnished and very comfortable. We would like to rent again in November. In fact we are close enough to rent more frequent but do not like to have to pay the cleaning and mgmt fee for a two or three day stay. Thanks!!

beautiful vaction location

My family had a fantastic stay at this rental, no complaints, we are excited to return again, the condo was sooo comfy, the decor was beautiful although they could use a bigger television in the sitting area, other than that, WE LOVED IT ,, highly recommend this condo to everyone

Great location

Place was a great location, balcony was great, nice view. Pool was perfect, nice that it is a smaller complex, quieter than some others.

The sounds of weedwhackers!

Pros: Comfortableand attractive, beautiful beach view, plenty of towels, cute little pool area!Cons: no Keurig, TV in bedroom requires an IT degree to operate, TV in main area too small, kids hogging the pool all hours, beach is a decent walk out, and most especially, the endless, incessant weed eating and mowing, all week all times of day!! Too much noise when you are trying to unwind on vacation!! If you don’t mind noisy kids and noisy lawn maintenance, then you will be good!!

We are so sorry you weren't able to completely relax on your vacation. We do our best to keep our properties looking nice which could be the reason you heard lawn maintenance. Also, summer is one of our busiest times, especially for families since children are out of school. I would encourage you to visit during early fall when it may be less crowded.

Home away from home

Quiet neighborhood, very cozy and comfortable. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all kitchen ware needed. Be aware, only 1 elevator. The only problem that we weren't aware of was....the walk to the beach was too far. It was not an easy stroll for seniors.

A wonderful time at the beach!

The condo was well furnished with beautiful decorative touches that made our stay so lovely! They layout was great with the mater right on the balcony. I small but nice view of the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to make a nice dinner. The building has a nice pool with hot tub and then easy walk out right onto the beach! Close enough to walk to dinner at Fiddlers or Crab Trap (excellent food)! We will definitely stay here again:)

Needs updating

The condo was ok..it showed signs of wear and tear. The mattress in the master bedroom was terrible! There was what felt like a big hole on each side of the mattress that was very uncomfortable.

Nice getaway at the beach

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect with the pool and beach right there. It was very close to town but far away enough to not be busy. We enjoyed a nice family jog on the path. We took a delightful trip to nearby Jekyll Island to check out Driftwood Beach. The only negative would be the water temperature for the shower never got hot only warm. All in all, really terrific spot!

Beautiful condo and location

Beautifully decorated condo, nice view from the balcony, well-stocked kitchen, great pool and hot tub. The only thing that could be improved was the noise from the leaf blowers on the adjacent property. There was nothing to blow but they were there for 1 1/2 hours! The floors and the balcony could have been cleaner but the rest of the place was great. Would definitely book this property again!

Wonderful beach condo!

Wonderful condo with nice view of the beach! The condo had plenty of room for our family and was very clean and comfortable. Amenities of the complex are great, and it is an easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back!

A perfect getaway for a family with children.

I loved everything about this condo. The cleanliness, the decor, the amenities and the close proximity to the water. Check in and checking out was easy. Will book again in a heartbeat.

Lovely!!

We have stayed at many different properties on SSI over the years and this one is at the top of our list. Very clean, comfortable and outfitted with pretty much everything you could want. Check in and out was smooth and efficient.
