Greetings and welcome to our tranquil and secluded oasis, "Beach Therapy 30A." Our charming Carriage House is situated in the lovely enclave between the breathtaking beaches of Grayton Beach and Blue Mountain Beach. As our esteemed guest, you will have access to our stunning gated beach entrance, reserved exclusively for homeowners and guests, nestled in the idyllic community of The Preserve. Our distinguished community boasts a total of 125 lots, ensuring a serene and peaceful experience for our treasured guests.
Our delightful amenities will captivate and enthrall you throughout your stay. Take a refreshing dip in our two magnificent pools. During peak weeks in the fall and winter, our west pool is heated to ensure optimal comfort and relaxation. The east pool is located in close proximity to our private beach entrance, so feel free to cool off before heading back to your charming abode.
Relish the luxurious comforts of our King-size bed, adorned with opulent cotton linens and stunning duvets. Sink into the four soft and cozy king pillows that welcome you each night. If you desire additional pillows, do not hesitate to make a request. Towels and washcloths will be abundantly supplied during your stay, and we have furnished our elegant dispensers with sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.
Our Carriage House kitchen is fully equipped with full-size appliances, including a gas range and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A commercial ice machine is conveniently located in the main house, with unlimited bagged ice provided for your use. There is no need to purchase ice during your stay.
For our returning guests, please note that we always value your feedback and suggestions, which is why we have taken them to heart. We are grateful for our repeat guests and continually strive to improve their experience. Our newest addition is a complimentary beach service for two. Beach towels are also available for your convenience, so leave yours at home.
If you desire to explore beyond the immediate area, we have added two Aventon cruisers, allowing you to experience the allure of Rosemary and Alys Beach. The Farmers' Market in Rosemary Beach takes place on Sundays, and the cruisers offer a practical way to carry your purchases. The E-Bikes are perfect for visiting Red Bar and Chiringo, especially as parking is limited in those areas. Moreover, they provide a fun and enjoyable means of exploring the various areas of 30A that you have only seen in pictures.
Food enthusiasts will appreciate our extensive knowledge of local restaurants. We are delighted to offer recommendations ranging from Shunk Gulley, Hurricanes Oyster Bar, Borrago, Great Southern, Blue Mabel, and more. If you enjoy cooking, our fully stocked kitchen includes a Kitchen Aid mixer, perfect for those who love to bake. Additionally, cooking classes are offered throughout 30A, and we can provide information about these local events.
We take pride in our stringent cleaning procedures, which are meticulously implemented between guest stays. All linens, rugs, and soft items are removed, cleaned, and replaced, while all mattresses and pillows are encased. Our owner-managed home is maintained by the owner, ensuring impeccable attention to detail and a thoroughly sanitized space.
For our esteemed guests traveling with pets, we are delighted to offer pet-friendly accommodations. Please note that a fee of $200 per dog is required, and dogs must be crated when you are not present in the carriage house with them. We have Golden Retrievers ourselves and appreciate that some guests may not prefer crating their pets. Unfortunately, one of our previous guests did not crate their dog, leading to the animal escaping the carriage house and getting lost for 90 minutes. This incident was distressing for the dog and could have been prevented if the pet was crated.
During the season (March 1 - October 31), we offer beach service to ensure our guests' optimal enjoyment of the beach. Our extensive amenities include beach bikes, a child bike trailer (available upon request, free of charge), children's size bikes (available upon request, free of charge), beach towels, backpack chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys (skim boards, boogie boards, night-time crabbing equipment), coolers (available free of charge), a commercial ice machine, infant and toddler items (pack and play, high chair, baby gate), Black Rifle coffee, tea, sugar/Splenda, salt/pepper, local honey, shrimp boil pot, gas grill, hairdryer, washer/dryer (with detergent provided), and paper goods (napkins, toilet paper, paper towels).
As an additional benefit, a GOLF CART is included with your stay (drivers' license and insurance information must be submitted to the homeowner). Our golf cart allows you to effortlessly explore and enjoy the charming 30A area.
