Spectacular Views from every room Right on the Lake - Now with Air Conditioning!

On a bluff that overlooks Lake Cushman, you will be enchanted with the stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Lake Cushman from every angle within the house. A newer home with a cabin feel and modern amenities, knotty pine trim and rustic wood furniture, it is a comfortable place to enjoy the serene setting of the mountains and the lake. There is a wrap around deck on the first floor, with a table for four and a view down the lake. Now, we offer newly installed air conditioning for summer months. In the back of the house, in a private area, there is a patio where you may BBQ on a propane or charcoal grill, eat at a picnic table, and enjoy a fire all summer with our propane fire pit. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms that access a private balcony where you can sit and relax and let your worries float away. You can access the lakeside down a winding path to a covered deck, the "Tiki Bar", that overlooks the lake. We have provided two sit upon kayaks for guest use from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is a park for residents and their guests minutes from the house with play areas, picnic tables, a safe swim area and a boat launch and dock. There are two security cameras outside facing the parking area and a door lock code that changes with each rental for guest security. Please note that the hot tub and row boat are not available for guest use. There is no onsite boat trailer parking. Special arrangements by the manager would need to be made for a boat for a boat pass and trailer parking. For visiting the local parks, there is one car pass available for one car but any additional car passes would have to be arranged by the manager.

Another great visit! We've been coming here with my parents for the last several years, and we always have a wonderful time. The view is stunning, the house is clean and comfortable, and the swimming and paddling from the dock are superb. Can't recommend this place enough!

My kids (adult) and I had a wonderful time here on Lake Cushman. The views, lake access, grounds, cleanliness, directions, accessories, were all on point. I would definitely love to stay again at "The Eagles Rest".

Absolutely serene & stunning views! House was immaculate. We had a blast swimming and kayaking every day, close proximity to trails and just the most peaceful atmosphere. This place is obviously well loved and cared for. I dont know if theres a better view on the lake, either.

My family and I stayed at the Eagles Rest and we loved everything about it! Mike was extremely clear and thorough with instructions on getting to the property, how to deal with launching a boat, parking a trailer, and acquiring the passes needed to do so. Along with information about the local spots to visit, eat, shop and more. The property is absolutely beautiful, and we DID see eagles from the deck! I would recommend anyone looking for a lake house stay to book this spot ASAP!

Amazing lake house with views!

The location of the house is great. There’s plenty to do in the area. Overall everyone was very happy and we would return for another family vacation in the future.

Family Trip to Olympic National Park and Area

Really great house and fantastic view - we had an absolute blast !! Loved the outside decks and seating area with fire pit - watched shooting stars at night - and the tiki bar and kayaking off the dock was awesome !! We highly recommend and are ready to come back !!

The rental property was everything we were looking for! Amazing views, quiet and relaxing atmosphere and very clean.The lake was beautiful and kayaks were a wonderful addition. Plenty of bathrooms, so no waiting, the rooms were spacious and the kitchen supplied all our cooking needs. It’s a perfect weekend get away, and wonderful stopping point for plenty of hikes. I only wish we booked more time!

Another great stay at the Eagle's Rest

This is my third time staying at the Eagle's Rest with my parents. It's a beautiful home with an amazing view and a wonderful dock to use for swimming and boating. I couldn't recommend it more!

Kayaking Paradise

This home is very comfortable and has the most incredible views. As kayakers the location cannot be beat. The coves and shoreline near Eagles Rest are so much fun to explore. We highly recommend this gem and look forward to our next visit.

Perfect getaway!

We loved our stay! Great location, the view is amazing!! The walk to the dock is so cool! We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and hiking Staircase. The home is well equipped and Mike was very responsive. We cannot wait to return!!

I've visited this house several times with family and friends, and I can highly recommend it. The views are amazing, the house is very comfortable, the instructions and directions are clear, and the owner is very easy to communicate with.

Olympic National park /eagles rest

Spectacular home! The views were breathtaking and our family of 5 enjoyed swimming and kayaking, the outdoor fire pit and relaxing on the deck watching the sunset. The house was clean and had everything needed for our short 3 day stay. Would highly recommend and look forward to a return trip if we are able!

Lake house with a view

The view from the house and the dock was beautiful. The perfect place to relax. We spent the day hiking and came back for a swim to cool off. The house is close to a number of really good hiking spots. We had a wonderful stay at Eagle's Rest.

Another great stay at the Eagle's Rest

I have already reviewed the Eagle's Rest a few times. I can only add that it continues to be a wonderful place to stay at if you plan on visiting Lake Cushman. It is very clean and comfortable, and has views of the lake from every room. The beds are great, and the kitchen is well equipped. As an avid swimmer and paddler, what I find most wonderful, however, is the private dock and cabana. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Amazing view and sparkling clean! The house had everything we needed, with clear instructions on how to use things!! Beds were very comfy and linens were good. Absolutely recommend!

Million dollar view! Great access to lake. Accurately listed as a challenging walk back and forth to lake. Accurately listed as no air conditioning. This was a challenge for us based on temperatures.
