Stunning views from the back deck. House has everything you need to cook and not have to go into town every nite. Very functional property

This was a wonderful home to stay in! We enjoyed the view, jumping in the lake, and all the little extras (like games, books, hiking sticks, kayaks) it made this a trip even more fun. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Would book this stay again!

Peaceful lake house stay

We absolutely loved it! Swimming and kayaking were the highlights, but the house is completely equipped and comfortable as well.

Great place to get away and relax

It was a great place to get away for the weekend. Place was very clean and stocked. Property manager was very responsive to all communications. Would definitely stay again

It's a very nice property with an amazing view. We hope to return to truly enjoy it, as a wind change caused smoke from a nearby forest fire to swallow us up - we ended up needing to leave in less than 24 hours. Take away that infrequent twist, and I would highly recommend booking this beautiful spot!

Idyllic Lake Cushman

The only vacation rental we’ve rented more than once as we like trying new places. However this locale and the views from this home are unbeatable. Had a great time with the kayaks on site too.

Stunning View

Overall excellent family trip here. We couldn't get enough of the view and spent a ton of time out on the deck. Massive toy selection for kids in the closet, and tons of books and games around the house for added fun.

Great views in a cozy spot

We spent the last week of summer here and it was fantastic. The house had everything we needed and tons of activities for kids/adults to just chill by the lake. We took kayaks out with beautiful mountain views. There is so much to do in the surrounding area I could stay here for a long time. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house nestled on a very quiet lake. House was well appointed and very clean. My family enjoyed kayaking around the lake and spending time out on the deck. Manager was able to provide some suggestions for hiking in the area due to the closure of the Staircase area from the forest fire.

Spectacular View House

This house must have the best view of the Olympics on Lake Cushman! We love the huge deck and the large windows looking out over the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the newly remodeled bathrooms were terrific. The lake swimming was wonderful and the closeness to great hiking was a huge hit with my family!

Best decision ever

We loved our stay here! We had Beautiful views of the lake and mountains while enjoying family time on the deck playing games. This house was very well equipped for anything you may need for your stay Location was great, close to Staircase, driving distance to other ONP locations and Hoodsport restaurants and stores.

Perfect for family gathering

The location is great, the house excellently equipped. We brought our own groceries and cooked. Spacious rooms and deck. Our cousins in other houses envied us!

Winter retreat

Such an amazing house! The view is incredible, the house is beautiful, and the owners were exceptionally kind when weather impacted our travel plans. Communication with the host was very quick and the house was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed and we hope to be back again soon!

Great Lake Long Weekend

We had a great stay here. The views from the deck are wonderful. It’s about 100 steps down to the lake with a dock for swimming and kayaking. A short drive away there’s a nice beach. Trails are also a short drive away, but no trails within walking distance. There were tons of toys for our kids to enjoy and the kitchen was well stocked.

Unbeatable views

Nice, cozy house with AMAZING views of the mountains. Lots of toys for the kids and they loved painting rocks. We had a minor hiccup with the heat in the house but the owner/management were very responsive and helpful!

Thanksgiving Get-Away

We finally had a "destination Thanksgiving" and this property definitely delivered the peaceful and serene setting we were hoping for. Instead of a "Black Friday" shopping rush, we decided to walk along the river and follow the staircase trail. The sound of rushing water, falls, and rapids sure beat the sounds of a typical Black Friday in the shopping centers. We certainly enjoyed the house, views, and location. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Relaxing family trip

We had such an amazing stay, we didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful, the stairs down to the water are so convenient. Everything we needed to have a fun and relaxing time was there. Our 2 young kids (ages 1.5 and 3.5) loved all The toys in the bunk room, they had so much fun in the lake, our 3 year old got a lot of use out of the trampoline. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the beautiful view and sunsets.

Serene Location

We just spent Labor Day weekend at Kim's amazing home. The view from the deck was unrivaled. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking on the lake. The steps are steep, but well worth the effort. The home is spacious and the beds are so comfortable. We loved being so close to the Olympic National Parks, and got some hiking in too. We hope to stay here again in the near future!
