Enjoy the peace of this cozy mountain home minutes from Keystone Ski Area. With room for up to 10 people and your canine companion, access to the nearby pool and hot tub, and a free Keystone ski pass with a minimum 5-night rental, this place has all the ingredients necessary to create happy memories.

The home is filled with delightful features: a newly-renovated kitchen, plentiful seating in the living room, a fireplace to take the chill off a cold winter's night, a large wrap-around deck overlooking the Snake River, WIFI, cable/smart TV, DVD player, sound system, an attached garage, book shelves loaded with great reads and a well-stocked supply of games for endless hours of family fun.

Highly recommend this property and host. We spent 10 days and hosted family and friends along with our dog. The place was clean, well-stocked and truly felt like a home. The host was not just responsive but proactive, making sure the plow service was timely and that we had everything we needed. The setting is terrific with easy access to shuttles for skiing and trails for hiking or snow shoeing. Really appreciated the ski pass for guests and ready-made fire in the fireplace!

Overall pretty awesome

This place has all the charm, great host, and fabulous location. Feels like your stepping into Uncle Ned’s cabin he’s letting you use for the week ;) It’s super close to the keystone ski lifts and there’s a walking trail all around the creek that is a great loop with the dogs. The cabin is stocked with spices, condiments, and all the paper towels/toilet paper and even laundry detergent and dryer sheets - really everything plus some. The living room is nice and spacious and the seating around the kitchen bar and dining room is enough to really spread out. The bedrooms are very small but comfortable beds, no night stands to host your phone, a glass of water etc. the bedroom headboards were rather dusty and there was quiet a bit of dust all around the house - baseboards, picture frames, mantel etc. but didn’t bother us much. Otherwise a great spot for skiing and stocked with ample firewood for those snowy nights.

Retreat near the Snake River

We enjoyed the stay at the Rhodes Home. The location is quiet except for the sound of the Snake River which you can hear from the wonderful large deck. The house is outfitted well and was comfortable for our group of six adults and one dog. Lorinn is a great communicator.

Late July Trip, 2022

Wonderful piece of the older Keystone, right on the snake River! Very clean and comfortable inside, but we spent much of our time on the deck. Owners were communicative and made checking in a breeze. Highly recommended for a smaller, active group looking for a place to unwind after a day of enjoying the surrounding area.

Relaxation on the River

We spent a wonderful week at this property with lots of our time just sitting on the beautiful deck enjoying the sounds of the river and beautiful view. The beds were comfortable and Many supplies were provided such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, shampoo and shower gel just to name a few. We would definitely stay here again. Look forward to returning

Lovely home was perfect for my multigenerational family. The kitchen is probably the best equipped of any place I have ever stayed. Lorinn made check-in easy and communicated everything we needed to know. We look forward to returning!

Colorado Cabin Fun

This was our second year staying at this cabin. The home is super cute and the location is fantastic. Lorinn is extremely easy to work with and was even responsive from Tokyo! We hope to stay again next year.

Perfectly located stay in Keystone!

The Rhode home is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Keystone. The home is older but seemed well loved and was nicely updated with plenty of room for families to enjoy. There are plenty of supplies and places to gather. The beds are comfortable and the wifi worked very well which allowed us to work while we were there. Would love to return one day!

Great location close to Mountain House

We've rented a number of properties in Keystone and really enjoyed this property. It has a great location close to Mountain House. The house is stocked with most things you want when using a vacation rental and has a great, large deck. We will definitely consider renting here again.

Fabulous View, Awesome Deck!

My husband, I and our two dogs spent a week here and enjoyed it thoroughly! We spent most of our days on the huge deck looking at the amazing mountain views and, listening to the Snake River below. Great walking trails (paved and unpaved) along the river! We grilled dinner on the deck every day. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. Lots of fun games too (Trivial Pursuit)! The area is quiet. A short, scenic drive to Dillon and Frisco.

Amazing stay

This was my first time using VRBO. Lorinn was a great host, very communicative. Property was amazing and great opportunity to experience mountains of Colorado. Won’t regret renting here!

2 weeks of summer bliss in the mountains

Fantastic location for outdoor summer adventures right next to the Snake River. The whole family of 7 (my wife, me, in-laws, three kids 15,12 and 8) enjoyed hiking/biking along the path. Every night we relaxed on the deck as we watched the sunset. My wife and I aren’t sure how we can go to sleep without listening to the Snake river below. The house (which felt like a warm home) comfortably fit the seven of us for two weeks in July. We added some more good memories to the home, and we are all already are missing it! Hopefully, we’ll be back!

Independence Day Mountain Getaway

The photographs, though accurate, do not do justice to this property. The house is bright and airy, with the living quarters upstairs, and the bedrooms downstairs. We stayed over Independence Day week, and although the mountain towns were crowded, we didn't feel the crowds at all at the residence. A nice bonus is that the house backs to the Snake River, which adds to its serenity.

Great holiday week

Cozy, quiet chalet in the woods. Kids loved playing and exploring out back in the snowy woods. The whole family enjoyed board games by the fire. Very convenient to ski hill, bus route, sledding and hiking/x-country trails through the woods. We had a great week and would definitely stay again.

Relaxing 4th of July

Great Ski Weekend!

We had a very nice stay, Lorinn made us feel at home. This house if very close to Keystone, and not too far from Breckenridge, so we skied Keystone on Saturday and Breck on Sunday. It was a blast! Nice fireplace and cozy dining area. Lots of beds. Thanks for a memorable weekend with my boys and their buddies.

Colorado Charm!

Our family wanted to celebrate the holidays in the mountains and this home was the perfect spot for us to do so! The home was super cute, cozy and charming. It was fun being tucked away in the mountains. We LOVED the wood burning fireplace and used it every night! The location to Keystone mountain made it so easy to ski every day. The home had everything we needed to cook dinners at home. We loved that the property was dog friendly. We took our pups for nice long walks along the Snake River. Everything was exactly as it was described and the owners made it feel so welcoming and easy for us out-of-towners to get aquatinted with the area. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We can't wait to come back!

Great house and great location!! Perfect for family vacation

The house is very comfortable, with everything you could possible need (and that is so rare with rentals), and has a beautiful view of Snake River. The kitchen is modern, the bathrooms are updated, the living room is the perfect place to hang out after hiking, and the back porch is huge with a table to eat outdoors. We saw tons of hummingbirds, which was cool. The bedrooms are comfortable, and my kids loved the bunk beds. The only negative (which is no fault of the owner) is the new house construction at the end of the street, but that should be over soon. I highly recommend this house, and I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay

We loved our stay at the Rhodes’ Home in Keystone. It was well equipped and a great location. We stayed 2 weeks and were able to have different family and friends stop in for a short visit. An added bonus for us was the Snake River! We were able to hike to River Run via the river trail! Maddox, my grandson (3 yrs old), especially loved throwing rocks in the river and my granddaughters loved placing their hammocks right by the river. Bike trail just across the river so we rented bikes and were able to stop by the house during our ride. Thank you again for sharing your home with our family and friends. Mary S

In the last few years, we have enthusiastically set about updating the kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, deck and interior decorating, and result is a warm, comfortable home filled with art and personal touches that invites you and your family and friends to come experience and savor the incredible Colorado High Country.

Keystone is a fantastic part of Summit County, just over an hour from Denver but still a great adventure destination for families and groups. Our home is in the residential part of Keystone, just up the hill from and overlooking the Snake River. The house is close enough that we can walk to and enjoy the main village but far enough away that we are not affected by the noise, traffic and crowds of the hotel, village and condos. The house is just one mile from the Keystone Ski Area parking lot, and there is a free shuttle to the entire area with pick-up just two blocks away.
