Tropical Winds 602 is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo with approximately 1049 sq ft located on the 6th floor. Comes with a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table with seating for four and four bar stools. The kitchen and baths boast beautiful granite countertops and the entire unit has wood-look porcelain tile flooring. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and the condo has been furnished with all new furniture, mattresses, fixtures, and accessories. King, queen, sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6.

Tropical Winds is located approximately 1 mile west of Highway 59. The property has an outdoor pool, a small fitness center, a BBQ grilling area, and *a meeting room*. 2 car limit. **Monthly stays pay for parking each month** Minimum 25-year age limit to rent.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Perfect for a family with little ones. Located right on the beach!

Stay was okay.

Honestly, the condo itself was nice, but there was sand all over the floor, like it hadn’t even been swept at all. I would understand some sand, but not the amount we swept up. We had to buy a cheap mop and mop the floors just to feel cleaner and the water came out black after 3 rounds of mopping, the comforters looked really gross and so did the pillows, and the curtains in the master bedroom had brown stains all over them. The condo didn’t really even have a clean smell to it either. The only thing that did look properly cleaned, was the kitchen. And the bathroom in the master, also must’ve had a small clog or something because the water was puddling at our feet.

Awesome

The condo was just as I expected from the description. Very clean, check in was a breeze and any issues or questions I had was handled appropriately and fast! The over all process was the best! The view was amazing and the condo was cozy and comfy! Plenty of space and comfortable beds. This was a great experience. We even took advantage of the stay and play which was fun! Highly recommend! Will return!

Our unit was very well decorated and was well supplied. But the floors I don’t think had been mopped in quite awhile. We had a small child whose feet stayed black from walking around barefooted in the condo.

The sliding door was extremely difficult to open. And there was a patio door (standard door) in our bedroom that was locked and the seal was duct tape.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room at Tropical Winds, 602 was well appointed and the furnishings up to date but the overall facility was a little dated. To our surprise the beach was not very big apparently due to a couple of hurricanes in the past few years that has caused errosion. This was no issue for us, in fact, a blessing due to my elderly dad not having to trek a long distance thru the sand. Bathrooms are a little small but that can be seen in the pics. It does have a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. Gulf shores does not disappoint with plenty local eateries and shops.

Great condo!

The condo was excellant. Pool needed cleaning more frequently & beach chairs with umbrella are needed directly behind condo building. We had to rent from other condo down a ways on beach which wasn't clear when booking it. There wasa owner who was security while we werw there that put a ticket on my car because he didnt clearly see the parking pass hanging from my rearview mirror. Thankfully he took it off but ran into him later getting off elevator. He took so long stumbling out of elevator that the doors closed before I could get in to go upstairs. He wasnt very nice or cordial so not sure what kind of owner he was. Everyone one else was super gracious & kind. I had to leave a day early for a family emergency to get back home so hoped for a day credit or slight refund especially because my brand new car was rear ended by a resident & found out during claim process she was an uninsured motorist who was driving illegally yet gave me her familys insurance info knowing she was an excluded driver. She did a couple thousand dollars of damage & lied to my face!!! Other than that it was a nice time.

Improvements needed.

The condo was nice but not clean, bedspreads were dirty and the sink in kitchen has a leak which caused gnats through the kitchen and living room. We could not set out on our deck very much because of smokers to our left it was very disappointing. I did report it and the HOH was supposed to be contacted regarding this issue but continued till we left.

Fun in the sun

I was very pleased with our stay in Gulf Shores. It had a convenient location, just a ways down the road from the the major intersection with shops and restaurants. The property building looks a bit worn so I was pleasantly surprised when we entered the unit. It was much bigger and brighter than it appears online. We cooked most of our meals and had just about everything we needed to do so. We spent time on the balcony and the view from the main bedroom is spectacular. I wish the pool was a bit bigger, it can get a little crowded, but nothing you can do about that. It is right on the beach so accees was very convenient. A small detail that I appreciated was that there were proper cleaning supplies like broom, mop, and laundry basket. We have stayed places where we had to go buy those items and having it all there to keep the place tidy was great. My only suggestion would be to provide more towels. We went through towels very quickly with lots of showers after the beach and ended up doing a lot of laundry to keep the supply up. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Vacation

This condo was completely updated/renovated and was so cute! It is conveniently located directly on the beach which made things so much easier with two small children. I loved that this was a smaller building so it made parking easy, and the pool was never over crowded. We had a small inconvenience when checking in, but management was easy to contact and fixed everything within minutes! We never received our check-in text with the code to get into the condo. It says that check-in is at 3pm but during busy season/time it can be closer to 4pm. By 4:20pm we still had not received anything so we contacted management and immediately was sent all the details. Once we got settled in we tried going to the pool and realized that we didn’t have a pool/beach access code. It was already passed Business hours so we waited until the following morning and was able to contact management again who immediately sent the additional information. Overall we were pleased with our stay and would love to return!

Great condo

This was our first stay here. We’ve been coming to Gulf Shores for many years and always stayed at another location. The condo was clean and was exactly like the description. Decor was updated and very pleasant. There was a Keurig coffee pot in addition to a regular drip that was not in the photos. I was happy since I packed for both. Guest bed was extra comfy. Everything we needed was there. Wish there was a walk in shower but I knew there wasn’t before we booked. The balcony was smaller than what we’re were used to but it was all we needed to sip our morning coffee and enjoy the gorgeous view. The beach area was less wide than other places but for me it was a plus because I have mobility issues and it was easier to get to my beach chair. The grounds were kept very clean although the building could use a little TLC. Over all we were very satisfied. The low rise condominium has its perks. We will skip our usual hustle bustle high rise and stay here again.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived and entered the room it was wet, muggy, smelled of mold, which we did see on bathroom door. the floor stayed wet most of our stay and was slick and grimie to walk on. The bed cover had a dirty spot which was nasty. The sheet had a dirty orange stain. The blanket in the closet had a large stain on it also. The two chairs in the living area were so dirty and wet when we sat on them our clothes became dirty,The smoke alarm chirped all night long. The other guest around us on either floor above or below smoked the whole time and used outside grill for cooking, so if we went onto the balcony we either smelled smoke or liter fluid. There was no luggage cart that most condos offer, it was a buggy from the grocery store which was ridiculous trying to put suit cases in. We were charged for two parking places when our booking clearly stated two adults only. There was no reason we needed two parking places and to be charged. The person at the number was the most rude person and should not be working with public. Our whole point of vacation is to come to a place where we can relax and enjoy a few days with no stress. We should not have to deal with stress at a place we thought would be a great vacation stay. We were not happy with our stay and will not re-visit or recommend to others. We travel beach frequently, but this was not a good trip for us at all.
