nice home in south florida retire

This is a seasonal rental (winter and early spring) in North Fort Myers, Florida.

My home is located in "Lake Fairways," a well maintained, 55+, gated retirement community. The park has an 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tub, small gym, shuffleboard, pickleball, bocce, bike riding and walking trails. It also has a beautiful clubhouse (with ping pong tables, pool tables, a card room, laundry room, ceramics room, library, dance hall).

You have to complete a background check and fill out an application ($100) to rent in the community. You must be 55 years or older.

My house is located on the main drag, about fifty yards from the clubhouse. It is available for three - 6 months. Non smoker preferred.

I've uploaded photos of the house. It is nice, clean, well furnished and well decorated. It is located in a nice , secure community in warm, South Florida. It is much larger than a hotel room or the typical condo.

This house is nice, but not luxurious. The kitchen does not have marble countertops, and neither do the bathrooms. it is not the Four Seasons. If you have reasonable expectations at this price point, you will be pleasantly suprised.

Lastly, this house suffered minor storm damage from Hurricane Ian. I boarded up on of three windows in the master bedroom. I hung a new window blind, so the damage is not visible from inside the home. I also had two small holes in the roof over the guest bedroom, so there is a water stain, which I will have to paint.
