Luxury Villa Luminosa is a new build modern Villa in Split on a very peaceful position located few minutes drive to the center of city and famous ancient Diocletian's palace as well as only few km from most beautiful beaches in area.

The land covers 1.500 square meters surrender by hand made traditional Dalmatian stone and many olive trees which makes this villa very spacious.

Villa will provide you with flat-screen TV, air conditioning, floor heated in winter period, an additionally equipped kitchen and living room area directly connected with the land and few different terraces, garden grill area, relax place and outdoor heated swimming pool available all year for our guests.

We offer table tennis, darts, bicycles, bowling area, and even small private football field just for our guests. The property offers free parking.

There is also small private garden with fresh vegetables only for our dear guests and some nice fruit trees like fig, cherry, lemon, orange always at disposal for our guests completely free of charge.

Everything is done following high standards to make our guests to enjoy and relax in a very peaceful area but also near center, famous beaches, shopping mall, golf course,spa areas, water sports activities, etc.

Within few hours drive you can visit some of the most famous places in Croatia like National Parks Krka and Plitvice, ancient towns like Trogir, Makarska and Dubrovnik as well as islands Brač and Hvar.

Overpriced for the location & villa features.

All in all, a costly and disappointing experience. Starting with the positives: the owner is friendly and a good communicator with recommendations for dining and boating. The grounds of the property are extensive with ample space as well as outdoor dining settings, sun lounges and umbrellas, an outdoor lounge suite and table, as well as a table tennis table and even mini golf. The pool is small but for kids it's perfect! My problem is the actual villa and location - both falling well short of "luxury". The neighbourhood itself is certainly not upmarket. Note that most of the reviews are from 2014, which makes me wonder if the price was more reasonable then. The daily rate now is just short of 500€. For that you get a kitchen/lounge, bathroom & two small bedrooms- neither with an ensuite bathroom. Bath towels are small to say the least & no shampoo or shower wash was to be seen. Likewise a dishwasher without dishwashing powder/ tablets or dishwashing liquid & a coffee machine with no pods- and they are of a sort you can't buy at a supermarket. If I was able to go down to the shops in the few minutes suggested in the description I would be more forgiving but that fact is you are 15- 20 minute drive to anywhere & only reached by potted back lanes. Even expensive local taxis cannot find the location- perhaps this is why was there was no self check in. Lastly, the many cats hanging around the villa might bother some, not us, but the incessant barking of dogs did.

Vi var svært fornøyd med villaen, basseng og hage. Eieren var svært service-minded og på tilbudssiden! Villaen ligger imidlertid avsides, en er helt avhengig av transport - selv til dagligvarebutikk.

Home away from home in Croatia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Split, this villa is situated within 10 mins to everything (you do need a car), very convenient for day trips, beach days and exploring the old city and enjoying all the nice restaurants. The house is not huge, but very comfortable for our family of 3, and the yard is the highlight for sure, the pool, outdoor dining, bacci ball court, pingpong table, mini golf...we loved hanging in our yard after the sunset (during the day we were usually out and it's a bit too hot). I've been using Homeaway/VRBO for our vacation rentals for almost 10 years, the hosts in Croatia are the most attentive that we've met. Gordan is the best of the best, he arranged everything for us, made recommendations for restaurants, beaches, boat rental...we couldn't be happier and will return without hesitation. Thank you again for hosting us!!

A little bit of paradise

A well designed small but breathtaking and functional villa. The grounds and gardens are fabulous. We had our breakfast on the back patio, dinner at the pergola. Outdoor ping pong table and even a bocce court, beautiful swimming pool and well designed gardens

Luxury Villa

This Villa might be one of the nicest you can rent in the split area. The interior design and the equipment of the bungalow was absolutely perfekt. The size of the house is perfect for 4 persons. The pool and bbq area are great and gordan came every 2nd day to clean and maintain it. Gordon is allways reachable and assists with any kind of information and his wife even surprised us with a birthday cake. You should be prepared to rent a car or use Gordons Taxi service to the city center since the villa is out of the main area of split. Unfortunately we thought we can go by bike to the city but neither is the way capable for bikes (huge highway) nor were the bikes available.

5 ***** Star Villa in Split

The villa is a luxuriously, modern house with a great relaxation effect. Pool and BBQ place was perfect for swimming and to grill. The soccer field was great for the children to play. Our lessor Gordan was very, very helpfully. The welcoming with bread and fig jam was very hospitable just as the plenty information about split and surroundings. The villa has a quiet location, a rental car is a must have! Maybe we spent one of the next holidays again there. Thanks Gordan! Nadine and André

Even better than the pictures!

This villa is absolutely stunning. We had travelled through Bosnia and around Croatia, staying at a few different places. This villa was by far the best place we stayed - it really made our holiday wonderful. The attention to detail is astounding and the design and decor of the villa is beautifully tasteful. It is also very well situated - close enough to the city of Split, but far enough away from it to escape all of the hustle and bustle of the city. We had planned to do some sightseeing around the area but the villa was so relaxing and just such a lovely place to be in that we hardly left it! Gordan (the owner) was very kind and very helpful and a really good laugh - suggesting many places that we could travel to see. I would whole heartedly recommend this villa to anyone looking to stay around the Split area.

More than luxus Villa!

This Villa was awesome. Own private pool and yard was peaceful and even better what you can see from pictures. Whole place is allmost like from fairy tale! Owners was very kindly and helpful. They show and tell us everything what we like to do and see on Split. It was better link than turist information :) We definately come back to Split and take this same Villa if it´s available. 10+ Thank you for everything.

It offers full privacy on a large land of more than 1500 square meters surrender by hand made traditional Dalmatian stone walls and many olive oil trees. You are only few minutes to the center of the city and most beautiful beaches in region but also being in nice and quiet area where you can really relax and enjoy. As the land is very big we offer small football field only for our guests, table tennis, bowling area, open space gym, grill area, ...... and few different terraces to relax and have a good time. Private secure parking is available for few cars and free of charge.
