SKI-IN-SKI-OUT Chalet. 1 of 2 Houses at the Base of Mt Crested Butte.

The house is a ski-in-ski-out home located at the base of the lifts of Mt Crested Butte.The home is at the base of Peachtree lift and has a magnificent view of Mt Crested Butte. There are only 2 homes that can claim this status. The home is wonderfully furnished with a large kitchen, living room, a downstairs game room, hot tub, and a large garage. The home is a wonderful spacious place with terrific artwork and delightful spaces. It has all you would want and more.

The home is set up with three master bedrooms and two bunk rooms. The first bunkroom has 2 queen beds and 2 twins. The second has 3 twin bunks and one queen bed. A perfect arrangement for 3 families with girls and boys bunk rooms.

The home has high speed internet (yes it is really >200mbs for those who need to work while on vacation;)). There is a Sonos music system, 2 wet bars, a very functional and well appointed kitchen and much more. There are three refrigerators and a bar ice machine.

There is a 2 car garage for the who drive, but you do not need a car. The bus stop is 100 feet from the front door and will get you around the mountain or to town.The house has large glass windows in the back of the home that provide magnificent views of Mt. Crested Butte. The house has access to the mountain directly out the backdoor.

My Happy Place

I love this house. It’s the second time we’ve been there for Skiing in February and it simply perfect. Perfect location, perfect views, and has perfect layout for a large family or multiple couples.

Amazing Stay in Crested Butte

Amazing spring break skiing in Crested Butte. You can’t get any closer to the mountain with the Peachtree and Westwall lifts right outside your door. The house had ample room for our group of 7 (2 families with 3 kids) and was fully stocked with all kitchen, games and other amenities. Owner was super responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent ski in/out Crested Butte home

Modern, spacious home with plenty of beds for a group at the base of Mt Crested Butte. Our crew of 9 50-sonething dads had a wonderful week resort skiing, fatbiking and backcountry skiing from this mountainside home in late March. Property owner and local manager were readily available and checking in/out was easy. Highly recommended.

Location Location!

This is a great property with plenty of room for 12 - 14 people. It really is ski in / ski out right at the base of the Peachtree lift. It is a short walk to ski school and the main base. The views are great! Everything went very smoothly.

Family getaway

Family and friends spent the week together at this amazing house in CB. On previous trips to the mountain we’d stayed next door at Westwall lodge, but thought it would be nice to have the opportunity for our families to stay together. We were not wrong. We had an amazing time! The house was perfect. Plenty of room from everyone, awesome ski in/ski out location, super helpful owner/host Ned, and fresh powder to boot!

Crested Butte Ski In/Ski Out

Awesome location with the ski lift out the back door.Beautiful home with Amazing views.Wonderful ski room/den for gearing up and down. Great kids area for chilling while adults prep dinner.And the hot tub was an added delight. Easy drive to downtown or just catch the shuttle two doors down. Five star all the way around! We certainly want to return!

Highly Recommend

Great visit. Wonderful host. Each room has humidifiers, which are a nice touch since we live at sea level in a very humid state such as Texas. The patio was so relaxing to watch the sun rise or deer playing in the evening. Excellent for children with a fully enclosed patio. Great grill! Plenty of room up and down. Would return. Worth every penny!

Mardi Gras ski trip

Family and friends for a long weekend. Group included a mix of teens and adults. Everyone had ample room to settle in and the property is located perfectly for different abilities to come and go throughout the day. This is an exceptional property that is well appointed and positioned ideally for access to everything Mount Crested Butte has to offer.

This house is perfectly located at base of lifts and plenty of room to spread out. Pleasantly surprised and listing is on point. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great location

Overall this is a fabulous property for skiing. Everyone enjoyed being able to come in for lunch, roll out whenever. The house is large, plenty of room to spread out. I did not realize bedrooms were on 3 levels. The main floor has beautiful vaulted ceilings but that also means it can be tough to heat. The 2nd floor bunk room does not have heat and unless the windows that overlook the main floor are open, the room was cold. We had planned to use that for a 7 month old but the room was too cold. The downstairs level fireplace did not work, we had the property manager come over(he came right away) and he could not get it going. The main floor fireplace worked so we would warm up there. We enjoyed our time there. Views are amazing. We even got to watch some junior races!!

Excellent location and the house had everything we needed.

We really loved this house and we come to Colorado every year. We had more than enough beds with 5 bedrooms. The location was perfect, I could throw a rock and hit the lifts they were that close. Amazing home with amazing views.

Everyone loved, loved, loved the house. The location was perfect and owners so helpful!!

If you are staying in Crested Butte, stay here. Hands down! Best location and beautiful, beautiful home. We had 3 couples and 3 children. Kitchen was great! Beds were great. In the evening, when the lifts closed, we loved sledding down the mountain right in back of the house. Every evening we all enjoyed watching them groom the snow. This is just down from the ski school and a very short walk to everything. My family made great memories and see the horse outside? He was covered with snow, except for the tip of his nose. Stay here! Your will love it!!

Fantastic Family Home with such great access to 2 lifts and base area!!

True ski in and out! What a great view of the mountain, and Peachtree and Westwall lifts areas. Beautiful art inside and out with great entertainment areas on each level. Separate 2 families on lower and upper levels and we had grandparents on main level for easy access. Wet bar in both great room and family room, with ice maker and refrigerator. Apres ski at your own home, loved the hot tub views of Mt. CB. The ease of being right next to Westwall bus stop,and base area made it so easy for our family to come and go from the home safely. Nice to have the 2 cars inside the heated garage too. Cannot wait to go back, the owners were so easy to work with and the housekeeper helped us with babysitting needs too. All the beds were so comfortable too! Used the fireplaces everyday, easy gourmet kitchen too. Drink lots of water, our first few days were a little of an adjustment to the altitude. We flew into Gunnison and rented a car we hardly used.

Amazing location and layout

We travelled to this home with two couples, three kids and a babysitter to ski in January. First off, the location is top notch! We have stayed in CB before in "ski in/ski out" houses and end up trecking to get to our rental every afternoon. With this house you literally carry your skis for 10 seconds and go. It was a much appreciated change for my kiddos in ski school. I also loved sitting on the deck and watching my kids skiing since you have perfect views of the bunny hill. My husband and I stayed downstairs w our two kiddos while the other couple and their baby were in the office using the crib and master. I loved the separation and privacy - especially since their baby wasn't sleeping through the night! Overall, a great experience and we are hoping to go again next year!

Amazing ski-in ski-out house!!!

We absolutely loved this house. It is a wonderful ski in, ski out house that is literally steps away from Peachtree and WestWall lifts. It is truly a beautiful house, immaculate and well maintained. It was a perfect house for two families and we loved staying there. Our children loved the TV room downstairs and the adults enjoyed the kitchen and family room. The owner was extremely helpful with providing any questions or concerns. We were sad to leave when our visit was over!
