Perfect location for Donner/Truckee

We had a great time at this property. Beautiful views of Donner Downhill. True ski in/out. Warm property with a nice fireplace. My kids love Donner for skiing and we liked this property enough that we would be interested to rent if for the entirety of next season! Thank you for a great experience.

Thank you for your kind words! We're so happy to hear that you and your family had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful views, ski-in/ski-out access, and cozy fireplace. Donner is such a fantastic spot for skiing, and it’s wonderful to know your kids love it as much as you do! We’d love to discuss the possibility of a season-long rental—feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to provide more details. We hope to host you again soon!

Wonderful condo!

We had a group of 8 people stay here (4 adults and 4 kids) for our ski trip at Tahoe Donner. We had no trouble finding the condo and getting settled in. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, and access to the lifts couldn't have been any easier! Looking forward to a return next year. Thank you!

Perfect for family

Great property. At top of walkway so closest place to the very end of mile run trail. 50 ft to clipping in and skiing down. Plenty of room. Beds are comfortable. Didn’t run out of hot ester or anything like that. Garage had a sled which was fun

I rented this condo to take my grandkids to firework show. We had 2 days there and one of the biggest reasons I picked this place was because of the playground advertised in the picture. At first I couldn't even find it even after texting host and when I did find what was supposed to be a play ground was hidden in weeds. And only 1 play structure existed that was semi functional the other thing was broken. The pictures are deceiving and I would have found a different place. There are numerous stairs and that should be something stated in the ad. The place smelled like smoke. When we tried to bbq the bbq was locked up and we couldn't use it tried to get ahold of host for combo but host never responded. The location was good and the pool was nice. Hot tub was shut down when we wanted to use it. So all in all the place was ok but I spent a lot of for my grandkids and it was not at all worth it. The first picture is what they said the playground looked like, The other 3 picture is what the playground actually looks like!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and pool during your stay. We're sorry to hear your stay did not fully meet your expectations. The playground shown in our listing is the Northwoods Clubhouse playground, which is maintained by the Tahoe Donner HOA and is pictured accurately in our listing. During your stay, we provided the address and directions to that playground after learning you had located the nearby Ski Bowl Condos playground, which is a separate HOA-maintained playground that we do not own, manage, or have any control over. We'd also like to clarify that this property is intentionally listed as not having a BBQ, as grills are not permitted due to local fire restrictions. This is disclosed in the listing prior to booking. We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to make our listing as clear and helpful as possible. We wish you and your family all the best.

Good enough

We enjoyed our stay fine. Yet, the pictures of the property are somewhat deceptive, as the rooms look bigger than they really are. Nowhere was it clear that there are a lot of stairs to be climbed. Cleanliness and overall neatness could be improved.(crumbs in cutlery drawer, items in closets that should have been thrown out. )

Amazing location, great value

We had a wonderful time here. You can see the chairlifts from nearly every window. The heating really works, almost too well. We actually had to turn it off overnight so as not to overheat. The beds were reasonably comfortable, as good as can be expected in a rental. The kitchen is really well-equipped, but you will want to bring your own aluminum foil if you need it for covering stuff in the oven. We loved it and will definitely book again, though next time we will go directly through the property management company to avoid the crazy VRBO fees.

Clean and comfortable

We went as a group of five and found the property very spacious and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The complaint that we had was the absence of a blender in the kitchen due to which we were not able to make smoothies. Overall the property was really good.

Family Fun

We had a great stay! End of snow season but Tahoe Donner is such high elevation, still enough snow for our little granddaughter (3) and grandson (10) to build a snowman together. Kids played in the snow right outside the patio. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children, and the view could NOT BE BEAT!

Nice stay by the mountain

We were very excited to stay on the mountain next to the lifts. Overall look and feel was nice, but it was not very clean. Alot of things under the beds. One bed in kids room came apart. There was a hanging wet cleaning cloth where towels go when we arrived. Ran out of hot water after two showers every night. No wood for fire and and no shovel to remove snow off the steps. Alot of crumbs on the floor. Not to sound picky but it could be kept up better. I would pick another spot next time.
