Several movies, including Last of the Mohicans and Dirty Dancing were filmed at Lake Lure. The resort, which is centered around Lake Lure, Bald Mountain Lake, and two championship Golf Digest 4-star rated golf courses, offers the following amenities. Our home offers two bedrooms – each with a king and a queen bed, two full baths and one half bath (all linens included), fully stocked kitchen, outdoor gas grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender, 3 TV's, and wireless Internet service. The master bedroom has private balconies on the front and the back of the home. The second bedroom has its own private balcony in the back of the home. There is a large front porch with a swing which faces Bald Mountain and there is a fully furnished patio in the back of the home. This rental includes a kayak that may be used by our guests. The Kayak should only be used on Bald Mountain Lake as it is not have a registration sticker for Lake Lure. Although we do not live in the area, during your stay, we have friends in the resort who can assist with any needs. We will also be available via phone or text.
