Planning a trip to Cave Run? Our cozy little cottage (duplex) is waiting for you! It’s less than 3 miles from 3 different boat ramps and only a few hundred feet from the river. This fully equipped home was recently remodeled with all new flooring, furniture, appliances, paint, and decor so you won’t be disappointed. But really the porch is all you need... sip your coffee from the porch swing while you watch the river roll by. The possibilities are endless at our little River Paradise!!

Cave Run beauty!

Very clean (brand new) rental conveniently located just below Dam at Cave Run Lake. Great parking for truck and boat. WiFi, comfortable beds and great location. Thanks Tina!

Excellent stay.

We had a great time sitting in the yard. Just three gals catching up but wish it was listed as a duplex home. The neighbors thought the same thing.

Great communication, Clean, Easy access, Very nice home and private. Beds were very comfortable and a TV in each room. Even though it was a smart TV would have liked to get more local channels. Would definitely stay again since it was easy access to Cave Run Lake.

Cousins wedding

Loved the location, but was definitely expecting to be way more secluded it was in a little neighborhood, and duplex should be written way larger in the description. we were the first renters of the year so I expected it to be little cleaner there were multiple dead bugs laying around. Sheets on spare bed had a brown stain on them. Overall it was a good stay just could have been a little more cozy.

Just needed a place to sleep & park the boat

Very nice: Clean, easy access to Cave Run, Nice circle gravel drive to park with power to charge boat. Note: I did send message/question but never received a reply:( Anyway, all worked out well and I enjoyed my stay.

Kentucky Trip

Place was very nice . We originally booked for 5 but one grandson backed out so it was the four of us. The place was great for 4 people. Here are the details of what is needed. The roll away had no blanket or pillow. The kitchen table only is for 4 so we wouldn’t have been able to eat together.Pots and pans,plates and silverware needs better selections, but none of this detracted from our stay . We just had to do dishes frequently.Bring toilet paper and paper towels they aren’t supplied but they were kindly brought over. Great place I’d recommend it .

Made some good memories…

Enjoyable stay but a few things worth mentioning: the floors were really dirty and excessive dirt was pushed under furniture and under the living room couch. The drain in the shower drained very slowly. While taking a shower, you had to stand in a pool of water. Also, no batteries in the living room remote. The lamp doesn’t work in the guest bedroom. No extra blankets. We would like to possibly book another stay in the near future but it would be great to see these things fixed before doing so.

Wonderful

We were here for Morehead baseball and it was a great place for 4 adults to stay. Comfy, inviting and beautiful scenery. Wonderful hostess as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place

This place was in a great location for me. It was very clean. The only draw back was there is definitely not enough bowls, cooking utensils and blankets!! No extra sheets for roll out bed. No throw blankets at all. I loved the front porch swing, would have been so nice to have a blanket to sit outside on in the cool mornings with my coffee.

Bad Communication

The worst thing I can say about this place, is the water pressure is not great. More than sufficient, just not great. Unfortunately, the communication was pretty much nonexistent (the guys staying in the other half of house said the same thing about her). I asked a question before we booked it, and she answered right away. After I booked it, we had a dear friend put into hospice. I reached set out to see what options we had to reschedule our stay in the event he pass right away. Even offering to pay for an extra day, just for any convenience. CRICKETS.After making my final payment, I needed to reach out again. Either the day before, or the morning of, I reached out again. We were just trying to see if there was an early check in option. Even just the option to drop our stuff off. We just didn’t want to leave our truck at the boat ramp with all our stuff. CRICKETS. I was wrong on our out day. She messaged me, but I was fishing, not checking the message board. Then she called me to let me know of my error. That’s the first we heard from her.

A nice location and place to enjoy the lake.

We had a small glitch with the coffee maker, the manager we very responsive. It’s a nice enjoyable living space, good for relaxation after a day on the lake.

Very basic

We rented this for 4 nights just so we could fish at Cave Run. The driveway wasn’t clearly marked as where to go so we missed it and had to turn around. The driveway was sufficient to park the truck and boat. The house was as shown in the app. Plenty of room for 2 people. Basic supplies were appreciated and the coffee was a sweet bonus. I was disappointed that the kitchen had so many cabinets but the majority of them were empty. There was no baking dishes, serving bowls, cutting boards for meal prep or anything to store leftovers in. There’s was no extra trash bags and the dumpster was overflowing. There was a huge crockpot that wasn’t listed. The lawn was pretty high the day we arrived but it was mowed while we stayed and the yard crew was quick and very careful about blowing grass on the vehicle. I don’t know what was going on in the rental next to us but the banging noises where very loud the first night until very late. It wasn’t as bad the next few but I did know it was a duplex. Yes I would stay here again.

A few bad things and a few good ones

I could not tell if the smoke alarms were working. I hated the tv choices. Rocu (not sure if that is spelled correctly) was the most terrible set up I have ever seen. Where is spectrum or direct tv? About all of the programs were streaming. Housekeeping did not leave any trash bags. The neighbors had two pit bulls that were very friendly but my dog wanted to fight with them. Parking was very good. Plenty of room for my boat. The towel rack in the bathroom was hanging loose, and the sink was slow to drain. The phone number for the property manager posted on the internet was wrong.

Enjoyed my stay. Cabin was clean well equipped. The only drawback for me was when there was two boats there. My 21 ft boat and crew cab long bed truck was a bit of a challenge when other rental was occupied
