Honeymoon and relax near Cave Run Lake at the Musky Hideaway Cabin

Musky Hideaway Cabin is a spacious 2-bedroom A-Frame sitting on a hill with trees on multiple sides of the property. It has recently been remodeled with unique fishing decor. There are two balconies - 1 is private from a bedroom and one is off the main room and attached to the porch leading to main grass area. Additionally, off the back of the cabin is a covered deck/patio with a private area for hot tub use and a fire ring area on gravel with wood log seating area. Check-in time is 5pm is and Checkout time is 12pm (noon). Unfortunately, the parking area can NOT accommodate a boat and trailer at this time.

Was an absolute amazing experience in the musky Fish Cabin! Place was clean and had everything you need and more! Well located place and nice and quiet! Really enjoyed the Hot Tub & Fire pit!would absolutely recommend to everyone! Beautiful pond you can fish in! Lake was just 5 mins down the road and driving distance from all kinds of places to eat and shop! Thanks John Banks aka CashMoney

A fun and funky cabin tucked in a hill. The host and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful during our extended stay. Comfortable accomodations with a rustic feel and close to nature with easy access to the interstate and local shops and restaurants. The hot tub was. Definite plus! The road in has a switchback and the driveway requires confident navigation as a tip to future travelers!

Gorgeous view!

The cabin has a beautiful view of the woods with lots of privacy and a great view of the pond at the bottom of the hill during the fall/winter. Lots of comfortable sleeping spaces for everyone! We had a great time and loved the space.

Disappointed with the overall aspects of the cabin

We were very disappointed that there was no hot tub on the property. That was one of the main reasons we rented the cabin. If we’re we told ahead of time we wouldn’t have been as upset as we were when we arrived. Property description states they have cleaners before every stay. There were mouse droppings in all the kitchen drawers that held the utensil’s and kitchen towels and pot holders. It was very warm when we were there and we were going to turn on the AC unit downstairs but the filters were caked with dust. We also had no idea what to do with the trash when it was full as there were no instructions. We were lucky enough to have family in the area that took it to their house to dispose of. At least the bathroom was vey clean.

Not so hot jacuzzi

Overall it was just okay. Paying for a cabin that had a Jacuzzi was not cool because it never worked .I could have got a cheaper one that didn't have a Jacuzzi but it was important to us semi older couples to be able to relax at our cabin. Not a penny was offered or any kind of discount for the not so hot at all jacuzzi , really it was cold. So this made it bad

Perfect Weekend Get-Away Location

Had a weekend get away with my boyfriend here, The place was very easy to get to, as well as having a Dollar General Down the street for all of your grocery needs quick and accessible. I understand why the property owner said that in the winter you will need 4 wheel drive as the hill to drive up can be steep. Hot tub was perfect, along with it being a peaceful place to relax. I loved how there were pots, pans, silverware and anything else you would need to cook besides the obvious cooking supplies. It had central ac downstairs and we enjoyed our time here very much. Perfect place for a family vacation as well. Definitely worth the price, the owner was very nice and we had no issues at all staying here 5* will be staying here again if we get another weekend get away!!

Property was great location was nice(the drive up is interesting along with backing out) but we got it no problem👍 lots to do we found broke leg fall for a day i would highly reccomend!! Only down side was the hot tub did not work which would of been nice since it was a main reason for picking this place. Bring own towels only supplied 2. Besides that place was amazing and would go back!!!

Nice location, great price

We stayed here for two nights. We loved being so close to stores and cave run lake (unfortunately that does mean you will hear cars from the distance) but with having kids it was very convenient. The cabin itself was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. This driveway is a little intimidating at first but we mastered it quickly. The owner's sons greeted us first thing and we're very hospitable. If you want a clean, affordable place close to everything then this is the rental for you!

Amazing place to stay to get away.

Was a great clean cabin, we stayed over the weekend while our child was packing up from college since we live far away. It was close to everything, but still had the feeling we were miles away. We will definitely be staying again once they start back in college! Was a great Mother's Day weekend get away!
