Under new ownership! Beautiful Updated Cabins located just a couple miles (less than a 5 minute drive!) from Scott’s Creek Marina at Cave Run Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest. New furniture, linens and decor! Located across from the Fish Hatchery! Four 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom cabins available, plus a large cabin is also available that sleeps 8-12! Perfect for intimate weekend getaways or large groups! Cabin 3 features a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Kitchenette include mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and sink! Full bathroom. Grills, picnic tables and fire pit available for use!

The first detractor was finding the cabin in the dark. I didn't have the address in my GPS, and couldn't find it in the app, so we wandered around along hwy 801 just north of the turnoff. We got directions at a house just up the hwy. Once we got the right turn off and up the hill, we found the cabin easily. The second detractor was making coffee with the Keurig. It didn't work like I expected!All that said, the cabin was cozy, secluded, and a great getaway.

Clean, Modern Cabin perfect for short stay

Extremely clean cabin just as pictured. No steps to Cabin 3! Easy, designated parking on pavement right out front. Quiet, peaceful area. Both bed and futon were comfortable. Kitchen had all the basic dishes, utensils, etc - modern and clean. Nice outside area with fire ring. Picnic table too! Note, no closet or dresser or any storage / counter top space in bathroom. Nice responsive local owners. Convenient to I-64. Competitively priced for the area.

Nice Cabin

Small cabin located very close to Morehead and Cave Run Lake. We loved the fire pit. We would definately stay again if in the area.

Short getaway

The cabin was clean. All the necessities were available for a short trip. Little more lighting in the bathroom for putting on makeup would be nice. Highly recommended.

Small but amazing experience

For two adults I can’t imagine a more serine place to stay in Cave Run. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Great fire pit with firewood outside!! Will definitely be back.

Awesome location

Was a great place to stay, perfect place to stay for fishing Cave Run Lake. Close to Crashes Landing, Scott’s boat ramp, BBQ & Elliot’s Pizza shop. Very clean, a great get away spot, highly recommended!!!

Beautiful place

I rented this cabin for 2 nights while I was in Kentucky to purchase a home. All I have to say about this place is it was just as all the reviews said. Adorable, comfy, very clean and everything you need. Would highly recommend staying here.

Easy and convenient

This was a very easy and convenient place to stay. It is right in the middle of everything and just minutes from Scott’s Creek ramp. They have everything you need in the cabin to cook a simple meal, very clean, plenty of blankets. I felt very safe in the area. I had a slight issue where cabin neighbors were confused on parking and parked in our spot which created an accessibility issue for my senior disabled father but we were able to resolve the issue without having the property manager involved. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family seeking comfort and convenience.

Anniversary weekend

Came for the weekend for our anniversary. It was so comfortable and quiet. Close to cave run lake. Had all we needed and more. Would definitely recommend and come back.

PEACEFUL

I have not slept that long in literally years. I felt safe and comfortable and the cabin was as advertised. I only stayed for an overnight thing but will definitely be back and plan to spend more time there and enjoy some fire pit sit and reflect time. REALLY enjoyed my short stay. Looking forward to more.

Nice Cabin

We stayed the night before in Winchester's Red Roof Inn. Oh my! No sleep from noise and terrible bed. The cabin was so nice and clean. More importantly QUIET and the bed comfortable. We actually are early risers and woke are usual 5am. I said let's rest a few more minutes. 3 hours later we woke up. 😁

Great Little Cabin!

My friend and I ran a trail race at Cave Run Lake and needed a place for the night. This cabin was perfect! It was super clean, cozy and quiet. Had everything in the kitchen that we needed to make breakfast, as well as plenty of towels in the bathroom. My buddy slept on the pull-out couch and I got the bed. We both slept great and the bed was really comfortable. The owners are very friendly and communicative via VRBO. 10 out of 10 would recommend and hope to stay here again next year if we come back to run again!

Beautiful Little Cabin, Lovely Setting

I booked because I was just tired of staying in hotels for work and this place looked wonderful. I was NOT disappointed. Clean, cozy, felt like home only better. The view from the porch was perfect. Will book here again if I can. Only thing missing: Instructions on how to get the heater to work, but someone else could probably figure it out faster than I did.

Relaxing and Restful!

What a wonderful relaxing and restful experience we had at these cozy cabins! Everything we needed was included and the special touch of the snacks and drinks after a 14 hour drive was exactly what we needed! I can’t say enough about what a wonderful time we had even when we had tow rock for a few days, the cabin made it enjoyable! We are already planning to try and spend a month here next time we loved it so much! Thank you for providing Thai special piece of paradise for us to enjoy!

Cute, clean and convenient location to the lake!

This cozy and well appointed cabin is the perfect spot for a quick getaway with your loved one. The cabin is tucked away in a nice setting complete with a community fire ring generously stocked with firewood. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin after being on the lake all day. We’ll definitely recommend this place and will be back to enjoy it. It’s great to see a more current vibe at Cave Run! Bravo to the new management team!

Great Stay

My wife and I enjoyed our one room cabin and all of the appointments provided by the owners. The cabin was cozy and comfortable for a party of Two. Any communication with Melissa was quickly answered.

Clean and convenient

Pros: clean, convenient, nice heat/ac unit, fabulous fire pit and seating- my sisters each had one of the cabins too so we could meet at the firepit and picnic bench for family time, very responsive owners, super nice towels Cons: Neighbor decided to work on boat engine one morning for an hour and it was loud and close but that happens, poor lighting in bathroom, no oven (but there is a stovetop and microwave)
