PLEASE NOTE: Weeks run FRIDAY to FRIDAY due to cleanings scheduled every Friday. Cruise on down to the beach Friday afternoon/evening and start your relaxing week at the beach!

A maximum of 4 children ages 0-17 per booking. Pets, smoking and alcohol are not permitted on the premises. We welcome your questions. Please ask BEFORE placing a booking request by simply clicking "contact" owner.

Make memories in this spacious 5 bedroom, 3 bath beachfront home. Enjoy amazing views of the beach from 3 levels of decks perfect for morning coffee just outside your bedroom, afternoon dining with screened-in and shaded comfort and gorgeous evening sunsets from the rooftop deck overlooking the beach and Delaware Bay. The home is uniquely located with views of Primehook wildlife refuge on the "street" side of the house and the Delaware Bay on the beach side so you'll enjoy stunning views from BOTH sides of the home! No need to drive to the beach when it’s literally at your front door. The home comes equipped with flatscreen TVs, WIFI, 2 master suites, gas grill, heated & enclosed outdoor shower, Adirondack beach chairs, bikes and kayaks. Enjoy nature and tranquility at “Bay Blessed” beach house. Reserve it today!

Summer weekly rentals run from Friday - Friday.
Check-in is 3:00PM. Check-out is 10:00AM.
Base rate is for up to 10 people.
A maximum of 4 children are permitted per reservation (ages 0-17) and are included in the total of 10 people.
Primary guest must be at least 25 years of age.
Photo ID for each adult is required.
In the event a rental has been secured in violation of these restrictions, we reserve the right to terminate the rental and remove the group from the property, without refund of any payment.
Sorry, we don't offer a linen service. Bring your own sheets and towels.
No pets/animals - owner is allergic.
No smoking
No alcohol

We had a wonderful time at Beach Blessed. The house is beautiful and well equipped and right on the water. We had fun kayaking, playing pickleball at the local park and walking on the beach. While there is not much around the house, shopping, restaurants, state parks, etc, are within a 20-30 minute drive. We highly recommend this home for your vacation.

The town has added a lot of new playground equipment, corn hole and pickle ball in the past year. We love hopping on the beach bikes and heading over to the park. We'd love to host your family again! Great family getaway

Our family loved staying at Bay Blessed! Joel and Tina are great hosts. They answered all our questions and provided special touches to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed being right on the bay and spent many hours by the water and taking strolls on the beach. The kayaks, bikes, sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas were an added blessing to our stay. The large kitchen, dining area and living room we great for our family to be together, play games and cook meals. We loved all the porches and decks too. We highly recommend Bay Blessed to others! Thank you, Joel and Tina, for sharing your home with us!

Family Fun!

We were in the area for sports tournaments and extended our stay for a little family vacation. This was a great location. Very family friendly and beautiful views! Kayaks were fun for all ages! We loved being steps away from the beach.

Great Time

Beautiful and relaxing week at Bay Blessed beachhouse

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week at the beach. The weather was absolutely perfect and we enjoyed just about every sunrise and sunset, most of them from the great porch and deck areas. The host was extremely accommodating and made the entire process easy, and provided lots of good tips for things to do in the area.

Slaughter Beach again

We love the setting right at the beach. The house is extremely comfortable with enough space, bedrooms and living space to fit in easily 9 people. We love the screened in porch. We loved the nature center close by which should be promoted more.

We’re glad your family enjoyed the convenience of staying right by the beach. The DuPont Nature Center that you mentioned is definitely a hidden gem! We’ve learned so much about Red Knots, horseshoe crabs, diamond back terrapins and so many other animals at this wonderful, free museum just a stone’s throw away. Who knew there are seahorses in this area?!!!! Thanks for mentioning this museum so other guests can have the opportunity to check it out. Quiet and relaxing

Our family had a wonderful time at Bay Blessed beach house. We enjoyed being right on the bay and most days we were the only ones on the beach. All the extra touches at the home were wonderful including a very well stocked kitchen, bicycles, kayaks and screened in porch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful Vacation

The home and location was beautiful. Slaughter Beach is a wonderful vacation spot. The entire family loved everything about the week. Just what we wanted

Everything about this house was perfect! Right on the water… wake up to fish and you are right there! Sunrises, sunsets, dolphins, beach walls, low key, out of the crazy busy beach hustle and bustle. A truly relaxing place to stay!

Perfect for a long stroll on the beach

We very much enjoyed our October stay. The house is very comfortable and meals on the porch overlooking the water were super. The sunrise and moon rises were spectacular. But my favorite part of the stay was the availability of the beach for daily strolls. The beach runs for a couple of miles along the national wildlife refuge and is perfect for long secluded strolls. And lastly the owner of the house (Tina) was very pleasant to coordinate the trip with.

Excellent place to stay. Great house right on the beach. Very clean, it surpassed our expectations .

Absolutely a great place for families with kids of all ages. Right on the beach. Screened in porch which was a great addition to this house. Nature center close by where the kids got a fishing lesson and got to know more about horse shoe crabs. Overall we will be back next year. Great communication with the owner. Great biking and walking the beach.

Family reunion

Grandparents, children & grandchildren stayed here. Great quiet setting...walk out the door to beach and bay.. Well equipped with anything you might need. Guard chair, bird house, kayaks were nice. Heated outdoor shower with fun lighting was a crowd favorite. Good communication with host.

Great beach family getaway

This was our second year staying at Bay Blessed. This is an ideal spot to please kids and adults alike. Being only steps away from the beach allowed the kids to play close to the house and pop inside for a snack or relax and watch a movie. Adults can walk the beach or hang out surf fishing. There are also some other great beaches nearby such as Beach Plum Island and Cape Henlopen. There are a lot of nearby shoppes and restaurants. You can do as little or as much as you want staying at Bay Blessed! Definitely recommend for a great vacation!

We agree that this wonderful little town is the perfect spot for all generations. Since the home literally “hugs” the beach, it makes it convenient for those who love to be on the beach all day to share a vacation with those who’d rather be on the beach for a little while and then return to the air conditioning. I like that you pointed out that you can do as much or as little as you want. This town is so secluded yet it’s only about a 15 minute drive to Milford and a 30 minute drive to Rehoboth. perfect secluded beach house

this is the perfect beach house if you are looking for a quiet house on the beach. we had the whole beach to ourselves and there weren’t any noisy neighbors (there are houses all along the beach but i think most are lived in by locals). just a short drive into town (15 minutes) and only 30 minutes to the busier areas (rehoboth beach and ferry to cape may) if you want to sightsee. check in and out was super easy. couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot!

On the Beach

The house was clean and had any kind of kitchen item for cooking that you would need. I even baked my daughter a BD cake. The house is on the beach which we walked on for miles every day. It was very windy while we were there, but we still enjoyed the beach

Vacation relaxation

Everything about this vacation was perfect! The house is beautiful with lots of room for our family and very clean and organized. The beach is also very nice. Very quiet and serene. The water most mornings and day was like glass. We spent a lot of time on the kayaks and fishing. The owners are great! They are very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Stay at Bay Blessed

We had such a wonderful time staying at Bay Blessed. The house was clean and comfortable, the views from the porch for both sunrise and sunset were fantastic, and we enjoyed the quiet location on the beach. We had two young kids with us and we enjoyed the nearby playground and pickleball courts as well as the nature center. Had a fire on the beach one of the nights, which was fantastic! Dinner and games on the screened in porch every night with a view of the sun setting over the wildlife preserve was unmatched! Good for future guests to know that this is not really a swimming beach (very rocky and the water is shallow and murky), so you'll want to pack up and drive to other beaches to swim. We loved Savannah beach, Cape Henlopen state park beach, and Deauville beach (north of rehobeth).

Beautiful Bay Blessed!

Spacious house with plenty of room for our family to relax together and have time to ourselves too. Everything we needed was there including kitchen supplies, kayaks, chairs, even some firewood! The views were truly beautiful and we enjoyed the natural beach and collecting shells along the water. It is more of a beach for walking along and kayaking instead of swimming, but still very nice to be outside. Definitely bring bug spray the biting flies are out if the wind is blowing towards the East. Easy to get to Lewes or a bit farther to Rehobeth, we appreciated the recommendation for ice cream at Hopkins Farm Dairy! We also enjoyed biking down to the nature center and learning about all the wildlife. A wonderful stay.

It’s so fun to hear some of the things you liked about the house and the area. Hopkins ice cream is definitely a favorite of our family too! Since the beach is natural (not combed) it is ideal for finding treasures like shells, colorful pebbles and sea glass. You were the ideal guests and we hope that you can stay at Bay Blessed beach house in the future!

We have two grown sons, beautiful daughters-in-love and 4 precious grandchildren! Joel's hobbies include fishing and jet skiing. Tina loves to go to yard sales! We live in Pennsylvania but grew up visiting the beaches in Delaware and Maryland. When a friend invited us to stay in his beach house in Slaughter Beach, we knew we'd found our ideal beach town. We love the peacefulness of this quiet beach town where we can sleep with the windows open and listen to the waves crashing but have all of the boardwalk fun just a short drive away. We're so grateful to be blessed with this beach house that we can enjoy vacations with all of our family and friends together in one place. We hope that you get to make some precious memories here as well!

One fun feature of the beach house that we absolutely love is gazing at the stars from the rooftop deck. We never knew there were so many stars until we climbed up there for the first time! The rooftop deck also offers amazing daytime views of the entire town. For Tina's 50th birthday, her dad built her the cool lifeguard chair that overlooks the beach. It's the ideal spot for sitting alone or with a friend and watching the waves lap over the beach. The "big, comfy couch" in the upstairs master bedroom is a fun place to gather everyone for movie nights. It also doubles as a great place for an afternoon nap! When you visit, you'll notice that there are always ships directly in front of the house. That's because the beach house overlooks a direct shipping route to ports to the north. It's fun to grab a pair of binoculars (provided) to read the names of the ships passing by. While you have those binoculars, be sure to check out the osprey nest on the west side of the house in the nature preserve. Then, after all of that napping and nature watching, beach campfires can be a fun way to end a perfect day!
