The residence itself is a beautiful and well-furnished but, very spare in decoration. There were a few shortcomings, however, to the house that we wished could have been different. First, there were just enough dishes and utensils for four people. Second, there was no plastic spatula to cook with so we had to use a large metal one that seemed more appropriate for a barbecue. Our Vacasa experience was not good. I completed Vacasa's pre-arrival form & held a video call before my arrival to validate my identity so I could go directly to the home w/o visiting their office. But their instructions and entry code didn't work and no answer at the local or national phone number. We had to go to the local office and get a new code and revised instructions. Wasted time.We paid 300 for the spa/pool to be heated, but neither was heated upon arrival. It took almost 3 days for the issue to get fixed. The pool needs over half a day to heat, so we effectively only had access to a heated pool for one full day. I told the house manager that we deserve a fully prorated refund for the heating AND house rental. After we received only a 2-day heating refund, my appeal was declined.In short, we liked the house but wont deal with Vacasa again.They squandered valuable time with no urgency to fix things.Having only 4 coffee mugs, no spatula, and barely enough plates for one meal is a conscious management decision. Let alone providing an insufficient refund for their own ineptitude.
