Come escape to this gorgeous lake house with stunning views of Dale Hollow Lake. This three bedroom/loft home can comfortably sleep up to 14 people. It is tastefully decorated and comes with all you need for your lake side getaway. Enjoy the sunset from one of three decks, or cook a family meal on the grill or in a fully equipped kitchen. Ample outdoor and indoor seating for larger groups. Chilly at night, head down to the backyard and enjoy the firepit. This home is only a short drive to Sunset Marina which was recently featured in the Luke Bryan song Sunrise, Sunset. Bring or rent a boat, fish or picnic along the shore of Tennessee’s bluest and cleanest lake. Also a short drive to numerous state parks and other local attractions. Rainy day? Exhausted from a long day on the lake? No problem! Enjoy a movie on a 75 inch 4K tv or numerous other tv’s! Full cable package with movie channels, DVD players with more than enough of Blu-Ray titles to choose from, as well as WiFi included. Feel free to contact me with any questions before booking. Parking is limited out front and understand the driveway is steeper than what you see in the pictures. I’m lucky to even have a driveway. Please understand that you are renting a house and at any time an arcade may not function, cable may not work. Internet, Hot tub may not properly function, grill, or any other amenity provided. I as the owner I will send anyone I can reach to correct these issues asap. I will do all I can to accommodate these issues if they arise during your visit but understand issues happen unexpectedly.

**Please Note** This property is not managed for the owner as many here are. I manage this myself so I have contact with renters, and am available at anytime. I don’t believe in high prices for families to rent and therefore will not be part of a management company.

Our family stayed at Steve's house and had a seamless check in process. The house was stocked with extra supplies, the large kitchen was fully equipped, the house was spacious to spread out and the game room was awesome. We enjoyed our stay there and will stay there again.

Fantastic weekend

The house was perfect for a large family with children of all ages. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and tons of games for all ages.

Annual Trip to the Lake

This house was perfect for our group! Large open kitchen/dining area, plenty of beds (and very comfortable too), great outdoor seating, game room for the evenings and rainy days, and lastly the owner was great to work with and had the house stocked with everything you’d need, and more. From kitchenware, sunscreen, spices, condiments, laundry supplies, etc, it was there! We will definitely be back!!

2023 Family Vacation

This is an amazing property! The kitchen had every appliance you could wish for. Everyone had their own space when they wanted to read or relax. It is very relaxing to sit on one of the many decks to read, eat, watch the deer, play games and watch the sun set. We will be back!!!

Awesome!

This place is the most immaculate place we have ever stayed. He has everything stocked ~ from bug spray to every food spice you could ever need! Steve is AWESOME to work with. Top notch! Location is superb! We have been twice now and will be going much more in the future! If you’re on the fence about this place, just do it!!! You won’t regret it.

Beautiful house

Wow! I cannot possibly say enough great things about this house! The owner is wonderful to work with! He responded to me quickly and checked up on us while we were there! The house is beautiful and is THE most stocked house I have ever rented. The game room was so entertaining for my family after a long day of boating. We grilled dinners and ate on the awesome deck almost everyday. We WILL be returning.

Wonderful!!!

There isn't much more I can add to the previous renters reviews. I rate this home a 10 plus. Steve goes and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. I've never seen a VRBO as well stocked as this one was. Six of us stayed in this home and each of us was amazed at the attention to detail. Steve is by far and away the best host I've ever had when renting a VRBO. Thank you Steve for making our stay a memorable one.

Amazing

Everything was as described in all other reviews. The owner, Steve, handled everything - he didn't sub-contract to a rental management company. You can tell he takes great pride in the property. From the kitchen and large dining table, fully stocked essentials, game room, and even the small details he took care of everything. I highly recommend this property.

Our family of six and our friends (7) had a wonderful vacation in Byrdstown TN at Steve's place. The house setup is wonderful. There is plenty of sleep space. We all had a blast in the game room, enjoyed the hot tub, and chilled and relaxed. The house seemed to have everything we needed and more. The walk/hike to the lake nearby was wonderful. The kids had such a great time running and exploring down there. We visited the Pickett CCC State Park, Cordell Hull Park, ate at some really great restaurants. Steve was very responsive and helpful to our questions. I 10/10 recommended this place!!!

Kids want to go back!

When you have Grandparents Camp with grandkids from age 14- three, it can be difficult to find that place that will fit the bill for all of their ages. But, this rental was the perfect fit. The screams of joy when they discovered the arcade room, the firepit, the hot tub and still enough space to have their own rooms was evidence we picked the right place. Steve, the consummate host, even directed us to Sunset Marina for swimming and delicious meals along with the location of the Byrdstown Park for our annual whiffle ball games. The older ones especially enjoyed exploring the Bunkum Cave which is a short drive nearby. They have all asked to go back…need I say more! Thanks to Steve, we were definitely the cool grandparents that week!

Perfect!

This is the best house we have stayed at in the Dale Hollow area. The house was fully stocked with anything and everything we could have ever needed and was super clean. Loved the game room! We had a blast playing ping pong and the other various video games. We also loved sitting on the deck relaxing after a day on the water and watching the sun set. We actually ate all of our meals at the table on the deck and loved watching the deer in the yard that came to drink from the bird bath. Check in process was flawless and communication with the owner before, during and after our stay was fantastic. Drive to the property and to Sunset Marina seemed easy enough with our truck and 19 foot boat/trailer. There was just enough room to park both in front of the house. 5 stars! Would recommend!

Great Property!

This house is everything that it is listed to be. We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving and needed a lot of room. This house exceeded our expectations as it provided something for everyone. The owner, Steve, was great and had excellent communication both before and during the stay. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful property

My family of 4 adults and 2 children stayed five nights at this lovely property. First of all, what a great place for kids! The game room was SO MUCH fun. For those of us that enjoyed the quiet side of the property, the decks (yes multiple) were amazing. A great place to start the day with a quiet cup of coffee or end the day with dinner on the deck and looking at amazing sunsets over the lake. The main floor was so spacious with an amazing kitchen - stocked better than any VRBO I have ever rented - and even a chest freezer to stash extra ice! Another test for me in a rental are the beds. And this property does not disappoint. The beds were amazing! And let me tell you, I am picky. Last, but certainly not least, the communication with the owner, Steve, was so great. He responded to our every question or concern. We hope to come back.

Awesome property!

Family vacation

I have rented houses before but the owner has never called me to talk to me before. He called a few times or texted to make sure everything was ok. He also provided us with food and drinks. I was very impressed and had an amazing time with my family.

You will not be disappointed! Our family loved everything about this house at Dale Hollow Lake. This was our third time at Dale Hollow and this has been our favorite property so far! Steve was easy to communicate with as well. We will be back!

Amazing experience

We were able to check in early which is always a nice surprise. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. There are incredible views from the 3 decks and my kids loved all the video games and that all the bedrooms had tvs. We all loved the hot tub! And Steve has the house cabinets stocked FULL and is so generous to share it all! Steve asks what you are planning on doing on your vacation and when i told him fishing and hiking he gave me info on places to do both. He was quick to help when i asked if he knew where we could rent fishing poles since my car is too small to bring ours and he came to the rescue by letting us borrow his!!! The Sunset Marina is only a short drive away and is very pretty! There's also a restaurant there that has wonderful food! All the staff were very kind and the pontoons we rented where in great shape. We found a cute little shaved ice & ice cream store on the way to the Marina that was such fun! We had an amazing vacation and can't wait to go back!!

Perfect Stay!

The house and grounds were very well-appointed and stocked with everything you could need! Steve was responsive and welcoming, and an overall great host! It was the perfect getaway for our group 9 to enjoy the lake and the scenery! We will definitely be back!

Every detail covered Like Home

Wonderful amenities. Every single thing was available for our use. Table and chairs for our grandchildren even. Cotton balls, for the chipped polish on my nails before it was family photo op time. Seasonings for last minute forgotten items for our huge traditional Tday meal. We loved every minute of our stay and did not miss a thing. Steve checked in on us and even wished us a Happy Thanksgiving Day. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful host! Will highly recommend and return.

We Can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time coming to Dale Hollow lake and looked at many properties to rent but I kept on going back to Steve’s. My husband, 3 kids 10 and under and I were traveling for fall break and I just knew the arcade games would be such a hit with our family when we weren’t on the lake! And we definitely were not disappointed! First, Steve was very communicative when I messaged him prior to booking. After booking, I wanted to get a feel for the area, asked him many questions, and he was prompt to answer. We did take our boat to the house when we first arrived- instead of to the marina. We would not do this again. If you have a bigger boat (our is a 23 foot wake board boat plus the trailer), the drive to the house is a little challenging due to the windy, tight road. Next time we would definitely take the boat to the marina first- it’s only an 8-10 minute drive from the house. The house: wow- the pictures you see are exactly what the house is like and happily even more. Steve keeps the house very clean, it’s tastefully decorated, it’s got plenty of space and plenty of seating. There are plenty of linens, blankets and towels. There is even an air mattress or 2 and I saw a crib as well. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, storage containers, utensils, spices- you name it- which we greatly appreciated as we cooked most nights. There is a chest full of games, both family-friendly, small child friendly, and for adults. The arcade was the icing on the cake. My family made the best memories in our down time, playing games, challenging eachother to ping pong, and enjoying the skeeball. It is such a nice addition to this home. Steve also has great TVs in many of the rooms-kids enjoyed a netflix show while adults watched some football on the big screen. The lake is gorgeous, the area is pretty quaint so I would plan on making some memories cooking in Steve’s great kitchen. Plan to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the porch and enjoy the crunching of the branches in the wooded area surrounding you in the quiet anticipation of seeing a deer or 3- Also while taking in a glimpse of the beautiful lake. Believe me- you will not regret renting Steve’s wonderful home. We can NOT wait to return! Thank you, Steve!

Fabulous Vacation

From the minute we arrived to the end of our stay it was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated. The view was amazing. Steve has everything you need in case you forgot something. Our grandchildren enjoyed the game room so much as well as their parents. Only a short drive to put the boat in. The house was so clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable. We highly recommended this home !!!! Thanks Steve for helping us make wonderful memories!!!

I bought this place in January 2019 after a long search to find “The One”. It become love at first site when I saw it for the first time. Everything came into place that day and even spoke to the prior owners who had this on VRBO for years. I have became friends with them and are such great people. I am a disabled U.S. Marine Vet who has been down a long road with my condition and wanted something to keep me occupied. I owned a house in PA for 18 years that I decided to sell and put it towards something personal that would give me pride in myself. I wanted to pursue Law Enforcement, but with my condition I am not able. I have a big heart and I put my heart into this place. I’m 39 years old who loves to cook, run, and stay active with our 5 children. As a Marine we have our motto saying “Semper Fidelis”, Latin for “always faithful,” which I use for anything in life. I will always be faithful to any renter here and willing to make your stay a positive one.

Location, Location, Location. I spent almost 9 months searching, and visiting many for sale in the area. I based my research on things that are convenient to renters such as restaurants, shopping, entertainment, proximity to Marina, and quietness of the neighborhood. I’ve always wanted to own a place and share with many families who come to stay here as we often bring our 5 kids up who love it. I grew up as a child in Pennsylvania where my grandparents owned a cabin on a lake. I wanted my kids to have this same experience as I did growing up.
