Beautiful remodeled house 3 bedrooms, 3 bath in the heart of Marathon Key. Located on a flow-through canal you will enjoy quick Gulf and Ocean access from your 60ft concrete, step down dock (with 30ft available to dock a boat)
Our weeks are from Saturday to Saturday. A stunning place in a quiet neighborhood. Direct access to the Gulf with available dockage. After a day on the water, step inside the house and enjoy a spacious open floor plan with a beautiful sunroom overlooking the rear yard and canal.
Wind down after a long day and enjoy the heated pool that's conveniently placed in a comfortable area for all guests to enjoy.
House is set up for relaxing and fishing. Complete with a fish cleaning station with full electric and plumbing, an ice maker, and an outdoor freezer. A jet ski lift is also included. Just minutes to the reef and off-shore fishing. You can catch yellowtails, snappers, grouper, sailfish, dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo, tuna, king mackerel, and others. Our home is just minutes away from beautiful landmarks.
The house has all new furniture and A/C. We provide towels and linens. We have a stainless steel Grill. The house comes with premium cable TV service, high-speed WiFi, and a TV in each room including the living room.
The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, the third room is separate from the main house, it has a queen bed, a full bathroom and a kitchenette with a fridge.
We have a full kitchen with new appliances, microwave, plates, pots, pans, toaster oven, coffeemaker, blender, and utensils for your convenience.
There is parking in front of the house for 4 cars and a boat trailer.
Near boat ramps are, one is on Aviation Blvd. and Harbor Dr. and the second one is on the bayside on 33rd street. Our address is 2408 Yellowtail Dr, Marathon FL 33050.
There are 3 security cameras, one in the parking area, one in the entrance, and the other facing the pool equipment.
Per City of Marathon regulations, Owner will require Traveler to sign Booking Agreement (owner will email)
A copy of the main renter's ID must be sent to the owner when the rules and regulations are signed. Owner must also receive the number, make and model of al vehicles/watercraft

Yellowtail Getaway did not disappoint! Great setup, clean, host was exceptional. Ice maker near the pool is a great touch! Fishing off the dock was good, caught a few nice ones. Well appointed setup that shows why choosing an experienced host pays off. Everything was first class!

Great place for our annual Keys fishing trip. Dockage is in great shape, cleaning table is fantastic, and the pool was a refreshing end to hot summer days.

Absolutely loved our stay at Yellowtail Getaway in Marathon, Florida! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the charm and comfort of this lovely property. The location was unbeatable. The house itself was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, providing a true home-away-from-home experience. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the well-equipped kitchen. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into making sure their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the outdoor space. The backyard oasis was like something out of a dream, with an awesome pool, and plenty of comfortable seating areas to relax and soak up the sunshine. We spent several evenings grilling out and enjoying dinner al fresco under the starsā€”it was pure paradise! On several days, several manatees stopped by to say hello. One afternoon, my son hooked a tarpon in the canal for a spectacular 1-minute show before breaking off! Furthermore, the property manager, Carlos was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make the most of our vacation. Overall, our experience at this Yellowtail Getaway exceeded all expectations. We made unforgettable memories exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Florida Keys, and we can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

Friends Trip-First time in Keys

This house was incredibly clean, bright and perfect for our group of 5. Having an unattached studio type bedroom was perfect for one couple. The best part about the place was the heated pool. The weather was cool our week (being from Michigan, we weren't going to let that stop us!) and the temperature of the pool was perfectly warm. We were comfortable even on a mid 60 degree day. The outdoor area was spacious, with plenty of seating, shade, a grill and ice. Several in our group enjoyed completing the puzzles that were provided, along with some games. Even though there are three bathrooms, if you are with friends and prefer to not share, please know that one of you is going to walk to the main living area to use theirs. It was minor and we got used to it very quickly. Carlos is a wonderful host, communicating expectations very clearly and responding quickly and kindly when we reported a minor maintenance situation. If you book your stay here, relax and know that you will have a wonderful week!

We stayed here for a week in February. The house was great, very clean and perfect for our two families. The owner was very responsive, the chairs outback were cracked and he had new ones there the next day, the pool heat also stopped working and he had a maintenance guy over the same day to check it out. Great place

Winter Get-Away

The property was clean and exactly as advertised. Located on a quiet street but was minutes away from the best shopping and restaurants in town. Ample room to lay around by the pool and canal to enjoy the sun. Indoor living space easily handled our group of six. The house was well stocked with the living necessities you would expect with premium lodging. The kitchen was well equipped and would meet any "foodie's" high standards. Our host was easily accessible to handle any questions. We had a fun, laid back experience.

Great House

My wife and I had an amazing time at Yellowtail Getaway. When we first arrived the cleaning guy was still there cleaning, a little aggravating but not a huge deal. The house was super clean and everything looked like it did on the listing. This property sits right on the canal where we were able to keep our Waverunner on the davit lift. There was wind blowing from the North so throughout the week the canal filled up with grass. This wouldnā€™t have been an issue if we had a boat with an outboard but overall the access right to the Gulf was super convenient. The pool was extremely clean and felt amazing after a day on the water. This house had everything that you would need in order to start your stay. There is a Publix right down the road so if you needed anything itā€™s just a couple of minutes down the road. The neighbors are very friendly and even gave us tips on where to go fishing and attempt to find lobster. This is a quiet neighborhood which we loved. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking to rent a house on the water in Marathon. We had such a great time and we cannot wait to be back. Also, Carlos was phenomenal at reaching out and responding to any questions or concerns that we had.

Great house near Vaca Cut

We enjoyed Yellowtail. The house was super clean and comfortable for our group of 6 adults and two children. Location was convenient by boat to Vaca Cut and great snorkeling and fishing areas. Kids loved the pool. Carlos was very responsive.

Birthday getaway

The property was lovely. Everything up to date, well kept, very clean. Close to several restaurants and direct access to the gulf by boat. My only wish would have been to know the ownerā€™s boat was on the property on a lift at the left end of the dock. The ā€œ60 feet of available dockageā€ was an over-site in that if we had rented a larger boat it wouldā€™ve been a problem. Carlos was amazing, checking in to ensure everything was going well, very responsive. Overall an amazing stay!

Super property for fishing vacation

The house was spotless and well equipped. The ice machine and freezer worked well and were super convenient for loading coolers and fish boxes. Pool and patio was a hit after a hot day on the water. Really liked the rolling beverage cart BTW. Probably the only drawback was the location. It's a long run around the island to the Atlantic side and the street was a little tight with a 35" foot trailer but we made it work. Boat ramp nearby on Harbor/Aviation Drive was super convenient. Carlos was very responsive and checked in a few times during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking. Will stay again.

Amazing stay in Paradise!!!

We had such a great stay. The house is PERFECT! My older boys got their own ā€œhouseā€ with the detached 3rd bedroom and thought that was very cool. The property was beautiful and so was the house. We kayaked almost everyday and swam everyday. Carlos keeps the pool warm and beautiful which is very appreciated. Many properties charge extra for pool heat. We saw 4 manatee, schools of fish, nurse shark (I think) and pelicans all from our dock. I went out every morning to take it all in! The house was SO SO clean. I was so impressed. This is located at a great area in the island which is close to many activities. We will absolutely stay here again if we come to marathon and highly recommend it to anyone!

We had a wonderful time at the Yellowtail Getaway! The location was great, and the house was perfect for our 3 couple trip. Carlos went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect by contacting us several times just to check in! There were some minor issues that were beyond his control, but they were taken care of quickly and communicated with us. Would stay here again. Thanks Carlos!
