Such a quiet place to stay.

We did have an issue with the original condo. The air conditioning was not working and we were so tired from the drive, we knew something would have to be done. I called the office and they quickly put us in another unit. This unit turned out to be so much nicer than the original unit. We loved our stay!!!

Need better communication.

I was surprised to find it had washer and dryer didn't se it on list or pictures. It didn't say what to do with key or linens. Also bed in master needs new mattress. Big sink hole in middle. Wouldn't stay here again. Good location. Is Panhandle a part of vrbo?

Great trip!

We were looking for a place to celebrate 3 birthdays together. The snag we hit was a dog-friendly property. This place was perfect for us. I wasn’t even planning to go to PCB, but when I found this townhouse, I booked it right away. Yes, it’s dated. But it’s clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is parking is difficult. One space assigned to the unit. We came from different cities and had 3 cars there. $20 per car to park and we still had to park several buildings down. Also, please advise your renters that if they drive to the beach, do NOT park on the beach side! They will tow you! Ok, back to the unit…loved the layout and the ability to go upstairs if others wanted to stay up late. We really had a wonderful time and will not hesitate to come stay with you again!

Great place but….

Master needs a new bed. It bad. Like sink hole in the middle so w e bought an air mattresses. House was clean but…all the dishes are greasy and need to be treasured and the utensils pots and pans. The area where these are stored need to be cleaned. And there are roaches in the kitchen at night Overall. Other than haveing to wait 30 minutes and several calls to get in our unit …it was a good stay overall. But please fix the bed It’s aweful

Unwanted inhabitants

We arrived at the resort on a Saturday evening. Check-in was a bit confusing...we were told we had to go next door to retrieve our parking pass, then back to the resort for our key. The resort itself is really nice. The pools are clean and well maintained, the beach is just a short walk across the road, and the staff was very helpful. The condo is dated, but nice for the money and very well stocked with everything we needed.. That said, I'm only giving three stars because the kitchen was invested with roaches. Not palmetto bugs....regular roaches. Management was helpful and concerned, but of course couldn't spray until we checked out. I debated whether to mention the roaches in my review because overall our stay was good and management responded to us immediately.

Not what I expected

I've waited several weeks to review because I did not want to be overly negative. I believe (from conversation with Panhandle) that we were the first people to rent, so maybe the kinks have been worked out. The biggest negatives: the property was not clean when we checked in, there was no internet provided (the listing does not make this clear-it hints that it is available in some areas), and the owner's items were in all of the closets. The property needs updating. The mattresses are very old. The positives: Panhandle worked with us on the cleaning issue and, even though the property is not on the beach, the beach that you walk to is less populated and very pleasant. This wasn't my first choice (I waited too late to book) and I wouldn't choose to stay here again until updates-especially internet access- are added, but I did enjoy the vacation. I think with some minimal changes it could be a lovely vacation experience.
