A wonderful townhouse 'Johnson's Pied-a'- terre' in the heart of the Historic French Quarter District. Tucked away in the courtyard of the historic ''Lodge Alley Inn '' with a fountain and gas lights to add to the quaintness of this very special place. This alley connects East bay to State Street.
Relax in your own walled and gated private courtyard, or sit on the balcony and just enjoy the sound of the fountain or flicker of the gas lights. Before walking steps to the finest restaurants Charleston has to offer. Only two blocks from the Old Straw Market and Water Front Park on the harbor. You are right where you need to be in this remarkable location to enjoy all downtown Charleston has to offer.

The townhouse has just been newly furnished and sports fabulous original wide plank heart of pine floors throughout. A brand new kitchen installed winter 2023 with top of the line appliances...But who cooks in Charleston when there are so many great Restaurants.
Two bedrooms upstairs one with a California King Bed and the other a queen bed, private baths for both. A small balcony from the Front bedroom with view of the fountain. The living room has a half bath.
The townhouse works nicely for two couples. ....When you enquire please let me know how your group is made up..singles, children, couples ...and age range please...Helps me Accept your booking faster. Thanks

Charleston is awesome. The best experience we've had with any of our VRBO adventures. Lodge Alley is absolutely lovely. The hosts provide all the amenities that you could need and more. We were so pleased with our stay. Not only was the location perfect for exploring every. Corner of the city ā€¦but the house itself was perfect too. Iā€™ve never slept so well in a house that wasnā€™t my own. The bed and pillows were the absolute best!!! We made use of the private balcony and the courtyard too. I would definitely return and choose to stay there again.

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home that is in a PERFECT location. The home itself is so comfortable, well supplied and very cared for. I canā€™t say enough about it. Our twelfth visit to Charleston and our second time staying at 46F. We adore this home and the location. The hosts are magnificent. The home is lovely and charming.
