PERFECT LOCATION...PARK, RELAX, & WALK! MIDDLE OF THE FRENCH QUARTER!

For travelers protection, enhanced cleaning protocols have been put in place to include disinfecting all surfaces, handles, knobs, remotes...with additional care in disinfecting all areas of the bathrooms. Keypad is also disinfected & there is a no contact procedure for check in/out. Thanks & be well!
We also provide a parking pass for a free spot in a 24 hour/in & out garage just around the corner (4 minute walk)!
Street parking for up to an hour is free for unloading.

Renovations (2022) have been completed…beautifully modern, complete updated bathrooms & kitchen! The addition of a 65" mounted TV in living room makes unwinding & watching your favorite shows a relaxing way to decompress. Nicely appointed interior & the entire until has been freshly painted.
We do include the cleaning in the daily rate, as well as parking. So no additional fees are charged by us!

Huntley Lodge, a quaint townhouse, is part of an original firehouse dating from 1812 - adjacent to Lodge Alley - a narrow cobblestone alley that connects historic East Bay Street and State Street that is reportedly the site of as many as 50 duels.

Enjoy your own private courtyard (walled and gated). This small private courtyard is adjacent to the large courtyard with gaslights and a large fountain which is part of the Historic Lodge Alley Inn... ‘home away from home’ for many celebrities that visit Charleston - Two blocks from Waterfront Park on the Charleston Harbor - steps away from most of Charleston's premier restaurants, one block from the Old Market, and an easy stroll to The Battery.

The townhouse has original wide plank heart pine floors upstairs and down. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and a king-size bed in the master; both bedrooms have private baths, and the master bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. There are TV’s in both bedrooms.
There is a comfortable pull out sofa downstairs in the main living area facing the gas log fireplace and has access to a half bath. This home is ideal for two couples.
The location is perfect for traversing the city on foot!

We had a fantastic stay in Charleston while celebrating my daughter’s engagement. The location in the French Quarter could not have been better—everything was steps away, yet the street stayed quiet and charming. When the weather turned cold, the fireplace made the place feel extra cozy and gave us a perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a special weekend. Highly recommend.

I can not rave enough about this property! You are in the heart of the historical French quarters of Charleston. Within walking distance to several restaurants, bars and even an outdoor market. The house its self was beautiful and clean! We were worried that our teething infant would be trouble to the neighbors but they admitted after some friendly chatting that they heard nothing!! We felt very comfortable and that there was plenty of space for all three of us (and Grandma when she came to babysit). Pam was an exceptional host allowing me and the baby in a little early, and after traveling overnight for over 14 hours we needed it! When I mentioned we couldn’t located the dishwasher pods, she called immediately on a Sunday to say she had a different cleaning crew and would bring some by the following morning. We could not have been more impressed, comfortable and truly blessed to have a beautiful space in an amazing location! I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the luxury and beauty of old Charleston!

The place was great. Location was awesome , we were right in the middle of the French quarter. Restaurants, the city market and the battery all within easy walking distance. The townhome was clean and well equipped. Loved the private outdoor area. Coffee there every morning. Highly recommended.

This place is perfect. It’s in the most prime location at the city center, making everything walkable, yet is still slightly tucked away so you don’t get any of the street noise. The house is beautiful and immaculate. Two bedrooms upstairs with comfortable beds and their own bathrooms. The downstairs has a lovely living room with a large tv and lots of seating. Full dining room and kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook - however I’d recommend taking advantage of the million incredible restaurants Charleston has to offer.

Loved the location...we parked our cars in the garage down the street and walked everywhere we wanted to go. We were there for 4 nights and did not get back in our cars until it was time to check out.Quiet, peaceful and very comfortable...felt safe and secure at all times.Everything we needed was provided.Highly recommend this place and hope to visit again some day.

This home is just as advertised - PERFECT! Perfect size, with 2 bedrooms and en-suite baths upstairs and a powder room, living room, dining room and kitchen downstairs. Perfectly working air conditioner - a necessity for June in Charleston Perfect location - Located walking distance to wherever you would want to go in downtown Charleston. Perfect host - Pam is a very responsive host who is extremely flexible and kind. Perfect parking - Access to a parking garage, via a gate card, a block and a half away is a dream for those driving in our renting a car to explore areas outside Charleston proper. What now can I say - this place was so PERFECT and I have no hesitancy in recommended or staying there in the future. Thank you Pam!

Very Charleston-ish, hidden from direct traffic. Very close ( walking distance) to everything you would want to see and do. Plenty of room, everything you would need for a vacation or just a weekend away. Great restaurants and shopping very close.

The location of the place in the French Quarter was close to wonderful restaurants, bars/rooftops, carriage rides and the city market. The accomodations were very clean.

Sonny and Dean Huntley , originally along with Sonny's sister Beth , purchased 'Huntley Lodge' because they love downtown Charleston . The native South Carolinians have visited the area all of their lives and decided to get a piece of history for themselves. They wanted a place to visit with friends and family while having some income to offset the costs. It has worked very well, except they cannot spend nearly as much time there as they would like! Even though Sonny and Dean live in Hilton Head , visiting the property has been limited. They hope to change this in the future and gather for the many fun and interesting things the 'Holy City ' has to offer!

There is a limited amount of property like 'Huntley Lodge' in the historic French Quarter area of downtown Charleston, and we found this opportunity irresistible. The location is second to none...you can park your car and never get back in it if shopping in a multitude of stores and dining in first class restaurants is your goal. The ambiance and history is palpable !

You can enjoy a vast array of art galleries, antique shops and historic venues within a few minutes of your private , gated courtyard and the luxury of the townhome itself is evident from the moment you step inside. Flickering gaslight lanterns and the centerpiece water fountain add a special feel to the larger gated courtyard available when more space is desired. There are no less than 50 quality restaurants within a one to 10 minute stroll from your Huntley Lodge front door.
