Great billa

We rented both houses and it worked great for our families with teens and adults. Easy to get places by car. Kitchen stocked with necessary pots and dishes. Golf carts to carry stuff to the beach was amazing, otherwise it’s a short walk. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful relaxing

We loved the house. We rented both houses and it was perfect for us. It’s just as pictured with plenty of beds. We rented a car and checked out a different beach each day and came back to our pool and local beach long bay to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Dual Villas in Paradise

The Sun & Sea Villas were great for the group we had. We had myself, my 5 year-old son, my parents, my brother and his girlfriend. Because we had an extended family vacation, the allure of having 2 villas was strong. Having 2 villas allowed for my brother and his girlfriend to have their own place with privacy and allowed me and my son to share the larger villa with my parents. The villas are perfect for kiters as they supply two golf carts for use to drive to Long Bay Beach and back. One of the golf carts had a restrictor to limit it to a top speed of 5 miles an hour and it also had a battery with a very short charge. If the cart was not plugged in after every use, it would run out of power on the way back from the beach. This happened to me one time, and I had to have the property owner come rescue the cart. The second golf car was perfect. It went 15-20 miles per hour and would last multiple trips. The houses were nice overall but could use a bit of a refresh as it felt as though everything was purchased in the early 2000's and not updated. Don't get me wrong, I would definitely stay here again. The pool was great although it was too cold in the morning to use the pool. By the late afternoon, the water warmed up from the sun and my 5 year-old was always in the water. Overall, the property was a great place to stay and I would stay here again. The property owner was extremely helpful along the way, and he went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this place, but I do caution that having 2 villas brings about its own set of challenges. I would recommend buying 2 sets of groceries because we constantly had to go back and forth between the houses to get food. Enjoy your stay at the Sun & Sea Villas. I know we did. 5 starts!

Not exactly what I had or would expect

Overall a decent property w/a good location but definitely needs some attention. Property owner stated he had recently acquired the property and still needed to figure things out. However, there were several items that were sub-par. Hopefully he will address these quickly but here are a few of the things we encountered. I would suggest you make sure these have been addressed. 1. One of the two golf carts was inoperable. Also, note that these are only 2-seater carts. 2. Many of the lights were burnt out. 3. Remotes for the gates didn't work. 4. Safe was inoperable because there were no batteries in it. 5. Pool and the pool area is great but we had to fill it one day because it was below the skimmer. Owner needs to make sure that someone is attending to the pool regularly. 6. Sun Villa - Kitchen sink came loose from the bottom of the counter and we had to prop it up to finish out our stay. 7. Sun Villa - master bath sink drain stopper isn't hooked up so had to manually open it up from under the vanity. 8. Sun Villa - no working can opener. Had to borrower one from the Sea Villa. 9. Sun Villa - recliner button is broken - doesn't recline. 10. Sun Villa - washer/dryer. It does work but the Start buttons for washer have been aggressively pushed so the buttons are recessed behind the opening and you have to use a small stick (used a wooden skewer) to start the washer. 11. Sun Villa - hot water was brown. I suspect a problem w/ the hot water heater.
