Condo was perfect for our trip to Destin

The Condo was perfect for our family vacation to Destin. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo itself and it was just a short walk to the beach with beach service available all day. We LOVED the pool and grounds and the location was ideal to everything we wanted to do.

Loved it!

We loved our stay here. Clean, great view, everything we needed for a home-away-from home vacation. We loved the hot tub and pool. Beach is incredibly close and easy to access. Highly recommended for families!

Everything was clean and well maintained. Room 611 was great, updated décor, comfortable furniture and beds. Would definitely stay here again. Like the fact the property was a short walk to the beach, it beats waiting in the long car lines for the public beaches.

It was so clean and the view was awesome, and the walk to the beach took maybe 3 minutes, it is close to every the Store and the Walmart delievery service made everything so much easier.

The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't do much cooking. Wonderful restaurants nearby. The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed having the umbrella and chairs. Being there in April we loved the heated pools. We would definitely like to return.

The living room with the large tv and fire stick to watch netflix and prime video is enjoyable on inclement days was a treat. Overall the unit is up to date.

Great time! Cold weather!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spring is hard- it was cold! This was our 4the time staying at The Islander! And we recommended friends to join us this time. Unit 611 was the cleanest unit we have ever stayed in. Which for a mom of two young kids is helpful! The week activities for kids is so great! We love that every time! Your activities coordinator is amazing! My only reccomendation would be to update games/books/dvds in the laundry unit. For cold rainy days, not a lot of kid options!

Review of our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay as always. We have been staying at The Islander for the last 7 years or so, a few times twice in the same year. Our only complaint is that a few years ago the gate to the beach was changed from a keypad to the current card reader. I like to get up early while everyone else sleeps and go snorkeling just as the sun is coming up and since you have to use your room key to get in/out I am unable to do so not wanting to loose my key. I would like for the keypad to return but I understand why it was changed
