Gorgeous property, lovely accommodations, so much fun to be had! We enjoyed our lazy days paddling, playing games, watching the seals frolic in the bay, and relaxing on the deck with amazing sunsets. We loved exploring Anderson island and soaked in the tranquil quiet. Definitely hope to return!

A lovely home in a gorgeous waterfront setting with amenities that appeal to all ages. We couldn’t have imagined a more ideal place for our multi-generational family vacation! We enjoyed the lovely home with expansive lawns, wrap-around deck, rocky beach, and well-equipped kitchen. We also appreciated our pre-stay communication with the gracious, responsive hosts and their attention to detail. We will never forget the wonderful family memories we made there, nor the stunning sunsets which filled us with awe each evening. This is definitely a place we hope to return to.

This “cabin” is beyond beautiful. It is a lovely home with everything you want or need, in immaculate condition and with a view to absolutely die for. We were in heaven. Definitely coming back soon!

This was our second visit and we truly enjoyed our time here. The home is clean, well managed, and very well appointed. We come to the Pacific Northwest area every summer to visit family and try to select a waterfront location for our stay. This is a truly special property. I’m so happy Merlene and family are willing to share with others to experience. My kids have some wonderful summer memories from our time on Anderson Island at the Camus home. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

The views are just amazing, pretty much every window you look out has a beautiful view then of course the property its self was gorgeous. The kitchen was very large and plenty of seating and the living room was great with the views. We left the garden alone mainly because most things were not ready but did get an onion or two for an omelette. Such a wonderful spot and very good communication if we needed it.

Quiet Retreat, large property

We enjoyed walking on the property, sitting in the sun and watching the tides … a little cold for water sports yet but great place for a family fun!

Great Place to Stay

Prefect. The photos in the listing are great but the property is even more impressive in person. There were lots of activities to do onsite. The waterfront view is amazing.

Wonderful house & property

We had so much fun out on the water raft in the bay and swimming in the lake that’s a 5 min drive away! The kitchen and BBQ are great-we ate out on the deck spotting wildlife each night! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us once again!

Peaceful Tranquillity on the Water

Our family really enjoyed the quiet beauty of this amazing water-front location. The accommodations were fantastic and clean, and the amenities (hot tub, pickle ball court, games, ping pong, canoe, row boat, rope swing) provided for lots of fun and great memories. The hosts are wonderful to communicate with as well! Highly recommend!

Quiet cabin on the beach!

This was perfect for a quick 2 night new years visit. We enjoyed the game room, pickleball court and hot tub! Not much to do on the island but that's what we wanted, somewhere quiet to enjoy with the kids! Would love to come back in the summer.

Cozy and peaceful retreat

My family enjoyed a cozy, snowy winter stay! Such s gorgeous spot with plenty of fun activities for the whole family and gorgeous views! The water is so clear and calm so we will look forward to a warmer month stay too. The owner is so kind and communicative. A south puget sound gem!

Amazing stay on a gorgeous property!

This family home is situated on a small orchard and had activities to keep our little family busy for over a week! A pickleball court, kayaks, a canoe, ping pong, fusbol, a hot tub, endless grass, a garden and an orchard! One of the cleanest homes we've ever stayed in and had an amazing kitchen. We had campfires at the waters edge nearly every night! We can't wait to return for another stay!

Beautiful property

The property is beautiful and will not disappoint, we really enjoyed our stay. From dipping our toes in the water looking for crabs, throwing rocks with our toddler, kayaking, making campfires at night and watching the sunset, this place has it all for a relaxing getaway and is perfect for families. They have a wonderful play structure for young kids and a game room for older kids and parents. You and your family will have a wonderful time here.

Beautiful quiet escape

We so enjoyed our stay at the beach house. My toddler exhausted himself everyday playing on the swings, collecting seashells, and splashing pebbles into the bay. His grandparents enjoyed the sunsets, cozy blankets on the deck, and beautiful landscaping. The island also has well groomed walking paths and hiking trails perfect for families. We’re already checking our calendars for the next time we can all get together at the beach house.

Amazing stay...again

We just returned from our second trip at Merlene's house, and it was just as good as our first experience. We love the calm and serene setting on Amsterdam Bay! There are so many activities to do on the property, that you really don't even need to leave. Some of our favorite activities include: looking for crabs on the shore, finding wildlife in the Puget Sound, using the rope swing up the hill, and picking blackberries. It is a great place if you have children, or if you just want some peace and quiet. We are already planning our trip again for next summer.
