Our stunning beach cottage is only 30 steps from beach walk over # 3 in the charming gated community of Carillon Beach. Enjoy the pristine white sand beaches of the Emerald coast from our cozy two story, two bedroom cottage.
Located on a large lot with lush greens and featuring a gazebo for relaxing and sipping your morning coffee or evening cocktail. This cottage presents an open living kitchen concept, with two bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with walk in shower. The master bedroom features a queen size bed with flat screen TV, and the second bedroom has playful bunkbeds for the kids. You will also enjoy a walk out balcony from the master bedroom with two Adirondack chairs for taking in the coastal breeze.
The quaint kitchen is fully stocked providing you with all the cooking utensils that you need for making breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are a foodie like us, there are excellent restaurants minutes away along the coast. High ceilings with large windows bring in the welcoming coastal light. Enjoy the large flat screen TV with cable and Netflix in the living room which has recently been furnished with a new couch, swivel chairs and dining room table and chairs.
The sunsets from our quaint beach community are strikingly unforgettable. From morning to night you will enjoy the relaxing vibe of this beach paradise.
Two wood beach lounging chairs with pads and umbrella are included in your stay. Pack the cooler and head straight to the beach for fun in the sun. When you need a nap, a one minute stroll will lead you back home where you can simply unwind and enjoy the comforts of our pleasant cottage.
With lots of attention to detail, we trust that our home will welcome you and your guests repeatedly for a unforgettable beach vacation.

Such a cute cottage for our group of four! We enjoyed our week playing cards around the coffee table, walks around the neighborhood and of course easy quick access to the beautiful beach! The house had everything we needed. We plan to revisit next year!!

Wonderful house in a great location. Steps away from the walkover to the beach. Perfect pergola area out front for coffee in the morning and family game nights under the stars. Adi and Bernie were awesome hosts and super responsive with questions and information. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The location was great. A simple walk across the street to the beach walkover couldn't have been any easier. The house was perfect size for two or a family with 1-2 small kids.

Location

Distance to walkover and beach is as close as you can get without being in a much more expensive beachfront property. Lounger cushions and umbrella from Ed’s beach service that were provided by Happy Hour is a nice touch.

Great Location for Small Family

The location of this house is hard to top. Being so close to the beach access allowed us to quickly make trips to and from the house with our little kids and even squeeze in some time at the beach between rain showers on a few days. There is some wear and tear (broken blind in the primary bedroom that had to be retied at the top, door to a kitchen cabinet sitting on top of the fridge when we arrived, GFI that randomly triggered and shut off the power when no one was near a bathroom), but that's to be expected from a rental. The one thing that does need to be addressed is the window to the primary bathroom. The painters working on the house next door were up on ladders throughout our stay and had a clear shot to the toilet/shower. We ended up having to tape a trash bag over the window for privacy (we couldn't be certain if there was some privacy coating on the window that we just didn't know about). In any case, the new guest house next door will have a straight shot into the bathroom when complete (which looks to be soon), especially at night with the lights on. I'd suggest a window covering if possible. Overall, though, a nice little house in a great location.

Comfortable and close to the beach

This is the third time we stayed at Happy Hour for our family vacation! The proximity to the beach was our favorite thing about Happy Hour! We loved the super comfy couch and upstairs outdoor balcony. The home was clean and well stocked with lots of pots and pans and other cooking essentials. We plan to book again next year!

Can't wait to come back!

My husband and two girls (3 and 1.5 years old) had the best time at Happy Hour! We absolutely cannot wait to come back. It was the perfect distance from the beach and the access to the community pools was a huge sell for us and the house did not disappoint. The check-in process was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway.

Great location, but dated property.

First I want to highlight the great location of Happy Hour. Couldn't have asked for an easier walk from house to beach with kids, beach toys, etc. in tow. The property is very dated. Downstairs was clean and tidy but upstairs needs some updating. The carpet upstairs is dirty and rippling. The master bathroom was not clean and the shower has dirty grout with exposed mold. Shower head in the secondary upstairs bathroom would not adjust and was too high for our kids to use (no bathtub). Home is very compact--maybe great for a couple but not ideal for a family with small kids. Overall, we loved the location but would not rent again.

“Happy Place”

Loved staying at Happy Hour! This cottage had everything we needed. It was compact but spacious - perfect for a family of 4 (we took our 2 grown daughters). The location was great - just a quick walkover to the beach. Umbrella service was icing on the cake. Water pressure was better than ours at home. Air conditioning stayed cool the entire stay which was a big deal for us because the last two vacation homes we stayed at had a/c issues. Enjoyed coffee every morning on the sitting area outside which stayed shaded no matter how hot it was outside. Would definitely come back and I will forever remember Happy Hour as my “happy place”!!

Quaint and close to beach.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was roomy and the covered outside sitting area was relaxing. We also took advantage of the walkway to the beach, sitting on the top at the table and chairs, feeling the breeze and watching the waves -- sipping cocktails.

So close to the beach!

Perfect house for a family of 4. Perfect location—steps to beach (includes 2 lounge chairs and umbrella) and short drive to great dining and/or shopping!
