Looking to make some fun-in-the-sun memories that will last a lifetime? Look no more! This cute condo has a wonderful location near the beach, a fully equipped kitchen for easy meal preparation, and free WiFi to keep everybody at home up to speed on your beach vacation. As for Dauphin Island Beach Club, this beautiful, gated condo complex features two large swimming pools and a boardwalk that leads right down to the beach! This great unit enjoys all the amenities of beach boardwalk, heated and non-heated pools but does not face the beach and does not have a balcony.

What's nearby:
This condo sits across the road from a variety of quaint shops and local restaurants, and just a few steps from Dauphin Island's beautiful sandy beach. Bicycle paths run the length of the island, from the west end down to the ferry landing and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab on the east end. You’ll also want to stroll through the bird sanctuary and explore historic Fort Gaines (four miles east). Kayaks, jet skis, pontoon boats, and bicycles are all available for rent on the island as well.

Close to all the Dauphin Island restaurants and stores. We were able to walk to eat and were able to walk to the beach. Everything we needed was at the Beach Club rental. I wish the bedroom had a curtain since the window was facing the parking lot light. The bed was so comfortable and the soap in the shower was great for my husbands skin!

When we had a couple issues on day one , they ignored our concerns about a few roaches in rooms. The batteries were near dead in the thermostat and they offered to drop some off so we could change them ourselves. An the TV didn't work, other than that. The beach was nice, a few restaurants we went to were good and we made the best of it. The off season room rates were cheaper than a hotel but I know why.

Comfortable

Relaxing place, everything we need. Clean and great location. Loved being able to walk right into the beach. Having the pool was a great bonus too. Some of the furnishings were worn or outdated but very clean and worked as needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

1st time at Dauphin Island

Location was the best! We were practically in the middle of the island and within minutes of anywhere we needed to go. Cell service was not the greatest with AT&T. Nice cozy room. Quiet location. Very secure. Highly recommend.

Perfect for short getaway

Location is great and there are two pools next to each other and they’re nice. Long walk to the beach but it’s worth it. Unit had the basics and that’s all we needed for a short getaway. Very clean. Be sure to bring a hair dryer and beach towels and chairs as they aren’t provided in the unit.

Small but comfortable and clean unit. The only issues we had were 1. no hairdryer, no beach towels and no beach chairs in the unit so be sure to bring those things and 2. The lock didn’t work and it took awhile to get that resolved. Location is great, pools clean and relaxing. Beach is quite a long walk across a boardwalk and sand dunes but still nice.

Clean, quaint condo. Suggest a better shower head, mattress covers and an actual coffee table and not an end table. If your going to have accommodation for 4 a dining table for 4 would be nice. The listing said amenities including spices which were none. No hairdryer, I thought all hotels/condos had hairdryers. This is a great location if you dont want to do anything.

Beach vacay!

Dauphin Island is amazing! Our vacation was made so much better with this rental! It was very clean and super cute. The beds were also very comfy. The pools were beautiful and the beach was just a little walk down the board walk. The beach was fantastic! There was a sand bar a short distance from shore and the walk out never got deeper than hip level. It was a great spot for kids to use body boards to "catch some waves". I highly recommend this rental and Dauphin Island!

Very small

Efficiency type apartment. Great for 1-2 persons. Not really big enough for more. Clean. Nice. Everything works fine. Excellent stay for the price. No view of the ocean or balcony, but for its location to the beach and restaurants it can’t be beaten! Lovely and I would definitely return there again.

Poorly furnished and equipped

This unit is small and “B” units have NO BEACH VIEW ( my mis-assuming). Looking back on the Vacasa pictures, they are taken with a wide-angle lens that makes everything look bigger than it really is. My real complaints are the kitchen ill equipped and poorly furnished. One old scratched up fry pan, no baking sheets, no spatula to flip a burger, two regular cups for a cantankerous coffee maker, more little “tea” cups. Sink is smaller than a bathroom lavatory. No ice maker- two ice trays. No satisfactory table or breakfast bar to eat your food on. Couch is WORE OUT. Bed in the main bedroom SLEPT VERY WELL, but the sheets were put on “wrong side out” and fitted sheet did not fit over the corner of the mattress, kept slipping off, exposing the mattress. Blinds have been installed over the windows so that the parking lot light was not a problem. It was my misunderstanding that the unit does NOT have a balcony or a beach view. But it IS on the beach- long boardwalk to the beach, that was not a problem. Nice pools- two “twin” pools- I don’t know why. Check in and out was simple. They send you the code to the lock box. I never saw or contacted the property manager. I did not appreciate the bait and switch listing. They list a cheap price per night but tack on exorbitant fees that essentially doubles that price. I would not recommend this unit to my worst enemy.

Very nice, furniture needs upgrade, need new table & chairs but overall exactly what we needed/

Really Nice Time! Beds slept good, very clean had all we needed for cooking, you could pack your clothes make sure to stop and by groceries before crossing the bridge (Nothing on the island) and just move in, beautiful place including pool & beach area, well maintained. I will be back. One thing people need to know is that the entrance does have 2 condos behind the first entry door so it is a little confusing, maybe if the door showed both Number and the A&B, there is a "A" Condo and a "B" Condo inside a small Hallway. Key fits both entry door and your condo door. Change out the table and chairs and this place would be perfect for 4 people

Sleepless and Outdated

Great winter season rate. BBQ, pizza and ice cream across the street. Parking lot view. Bright lights in the parking lot at night. Prevents potential criminals, but shines right in the bedrooms. The mattress in the main bedroom was awful. Could not sleep on it. Other chairs and furniture in the unit are old, worn out and damaged. Good news is, as I was leaving the maintenance guys were there to replace the mattress. Nice dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. AC & heat worked great. Small water heater. Take quick showers.

Spontaneous Christmas trip

This place is good. Not excellent, but good. The bed was a bit springy and uncomfortable but the proximity to the beach was great. It doesn’t have an ocean view unless you look hard. There are views from the bedroom of the inlet and bridge which is nice. This condo is nothing fancy but is better than staying at a hotel. Overall, I would stay at this property again. It was a spontaneous trip for my fiancé and uncle and they didn’t have any complaints. We had a wonderful Christmas on Dauphin Island.

We enjoyed our stay

The property wasn’t the cleanest and all the appliances were miniature so that was unexpected. Since there’s not much to eat on the island we had to cook some days and that made it difficult. We faced the parking lot and no curtains on the windows kept it lit up in the rooms as night. To get to the water you have to walk through a literal swamp with brown murky water so that was frustrating each day.

New Family Tradition

Loved this place! It was perfect for our little family to be able to get away for a few days. It was clean, quaint, and had everything we needed (e.g., plenty of linens, cooking utensils, etc.). Right on the beach - made it easy with our little ones. Also had two pools to swim in at night. Dauphin Island is definitely going to be our new Family tradition! The only thing I didn’t like was that this place was limited to only 4 people. By the next time we have a baby, we won’t be able to come anymore. Silly, since they sleep in pack and plays. Other than that, great place!

Great Condo

It was a perfect condo for our family. Our daughter and her family rented the adjoining condo and it was perfect for us to each have our own private space and also be together.
