When itā€™s time to escape from the hustle and bustle of life to a retreat that will allow you to relax and rejuvenate yourself, look no further than Golf Home 53 at beautiful Black Butte Ranch. With an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area, the home offers enough space for the entire family! After a hard day of skiing, return home to your own private sauna. During summer, you can spend hours outdoors on the decks that surround the home and overlook the golf course. The home also has a grassy backyard for the family dog to enjoy. You can also use the shared tennis court, basketball court or maybe even the swimming pool!

The home is located just a mile from the Big Meadow Golf Course and the Lakeside pool. The ranch offers guests access to a fitness center and over 18 miles of paved bike paths. For shopping and dining, head into the charming town of Sisters just a 10-mile drive east of Black Butte.

The best house on the golf course

We had such a wonderful stay in this very cool house. We had no problem fitting my family of 4 along with my parents and sister in the house and everyone had their own space. I love the cool house too :)

Lovely dog friendly/ kid friendly home

Quiet home in great location. Easily fit 8 of us of three generations. Outdoor deck and back yard is where we spent much of our time. Very comfortable inside and out. Great kitchen amenities.

Awesome location near the front of the ranch

Arrived to a clean, cozy weekend staycation. Stocked with games by a convenient wet bar, felt right at home. We usually stay on Trillium so staying in a golf home made getting on and off the ranch super quick. Great property, super comfy beds!

We enjoyed the house on 16th fairway, location to golf and the park for the dog to run. The sauna was fun but a hot tub would have been the bomb.

Great dog friendly house

Great location with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Perfect place for dogs with a backyard, big deck all overlooking the 16th hole on Big Meadow. The house was lacking a few basic supplies when we arrived, but Vacasa was responsive and delivered what we needed. Since it is dog friendly, you can expect a bit of wear and tear, but overall it was a great place to stay. Would definitely rent again!

This property was a nicely updated house that served my family and a friends family (total 8, plus a dog) very well. Kitchen could use an appliance update, but was functional. We would consider staying there again.

Would Not Stay Here Again

I want to start by saying, in the 20 years I have been renting vacation homes, 3-4 trips per year, I have not left anything less than a 4 star review. Upon entering the home we were hit with the most unpleasant odor. Windows were open the entire stay and the odor did not dissipate. My guess is the 25 year old carpet throughout the home is holding most of this odor. Hanging light fixtures above the food prep and eating areas, kitchen and dining room, were full of dust and lint. Easily not cleaned in over a year. Mattresses and bedding extremely uncomfortable. The home should be taken off the market until the odor issue is permanently addressed.

Nice home in need of some maintenance

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Greatly appreciate that the owners allow up to four dogs, as that isnā€™t common. The layout of the house was perfect for our needs, and the beds and couches were very comfortable. Loved having the wet bar area to augment the kitchen. For us, these positives outweighed the negatives, which is why weā€™re giving it 4 stars. On the down side, it feels like this home isnā€™t very well maintained. Sliding doors are hard to open, upstairs shower handle comes off in your hand, oven buttons 7/8/9/0 donā€™t work, back stove burner only works intermittently (which is a problem when there are only two burners), and the carpet throughout the home is stained. Vacasa should also be better about leaving enough trash bags, TP and paper towels, and should state in the listing that firewood is not provided.

Great house - a few quirks though

Pros: The location was awesome, the house fit three families with kids really well. Snuggly warm and lots of room for hanging out together. Quirks: The electric stove is very outdated, and the burners are not wired correctly so turning on one burner turns on two. The sauna was broken so we werenā€™t able to use that which was a bummer. The driving directions to the house were not correct - you have to go and register at the welcome center at the Black Butte main entrance first in order to pay the resort fee and get the code to open the gate to the residential homes area. It took us a while to figure that out because Vacasa gave us door-to-door directions that brought us to a gate to the complex that we could not open without the code. Otherwise, we had a beautiful time and would gladly return to this house. Thank you : )

Location was great; would recommend new cleaning people

The property itself was great, however when you state that COVID 19 cleaning will be better than the normal, it was NOT. I am not sure the last time the cushions on couch was removed and cleaned under. Gross. There is a note on dryer that states clean lint but when I pulled it out, it was disgusting. A dog bone was left on the carpet, pretty sure it wasn't vacuumed or you would have noticed that. I know that cleaning is difficult but we made sure to leave at 10 am so that they have ample time. The last time we rented this property, you could tell that it had been cleaned. You could smell the cleaning supplies, this time, nothing. Very disappointed. I have a pregnant daughter and a one year old granddaughter that were with me and so I had asked ahead of time about cleaning process and it was stated that it was better because of COVID 19. Very disappointed. I probably left the house cleaner than when we arrived.

Loved the property but not clean. Dirty stained carpets, sheets not clean on the bed, some places dusty, bathroom floors with stuff in the corners I tried to clean some stains which were offensive. Would have liked contact with the owners not great communication with manager

Great place, hosts have a great setup, lovely pet friendly home

Last house on the street, felt private, view of the greens and multiple decks that follow the sun. Lots of room to spread out. We stay at vacation rentals throughout the year and the Vacasa policy of 10am checkout kills us every time. Honestly, feels like Vacasa is stealing a part of our vacation when we book with them. We are at the point where we are ready to boycot. We lose an entire morning when itā€™s a 10am checkout. Plus asking to do laundry on top of a 10am checkout. Please! If Iā€™m doing your laundry let me stay until noon.

Great house overall , a few small cons

This house was great for 6 adults and 3 dogs. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, hot showers. Sauna was awesome and we had no trouble using it! We were bummed that there was no firewood to use for the fireplace, and when we reached out to vacasa / vrbo they were very unhelpful. For the price and fees it definitely seemed like something that should have been provided. Another con was there was no snow shovel and the path to the house hadn't been shoveled, so was a bit dangerous walking up when we arrived. The house was also unlocked when we arrived and a side door had been left open, and a bag of cleaning supplies from the cleaning service had been left upstairs - just seemed like they had left in a hurry which felt a little odd? Just a few cons but overall we loved the house and would visit again, great location, great layout for a group.
