The Monty is a three bedroom apartment on Montgomery Street, just off Congress Street on the corner of Franklin Square, in the heart of Savannah's Downtown Historic District. Airy, bright, and eclectic, it sleeps eight and is built for a group that wants to stay in the middle of everything and indulge in Savannah's thriving nightlife scene.

You'll enter off Montgomery and up a full flight of stairs. The stairs lead into the main living space, an open, light-filled room with a bar to the left for shaking up a round before you head out and plenty of seating for the whole crew. Just off the living room, the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, with every appliance you need to pull together a big meal before the night starts or a recovery breakfast after it.

Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms mean nobody draws the short straw or waits in line the morning after. The first bedroom has a king bed, the second a queen, and the third is set up with two doubles for the friends splitting the cost. With a full-size futon sleeper sofa in the living room on top of that, eight guests have room to spread out however they like.

When the sun goes down in Savannah, the fun has just begun, and this location puts you in the middle of it. City Market is right off Franklin Square, a two minute walk with open-air courtyards, live music most nights, and bars that stay busy late. Grab a plastic to-go cup and carry your drink from bar to bar through downtown and down to River Street. The Rail Pub, voted the #1 dive bar in America, is just around the corner for drinks, live music, and karaoke, with Congress Street Social Club a few doors down for a beer and late night street food, and Lulu's Chocolate Bar to finish with a dessert cocktail. Don't forget to grab an oversized slice at Vinnie Van Go-Go's under the live oaks, or book a table at The Darling Oyster Bar for oysters shucked in front of you, both also located on the square just a few steps from your door.

What is parking like for this home?
Parking for this home is on-street and metered, with enforcement by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or utilize a nearby public parking garage (the Robinson garage is only 1 block away). Pre-paid visitor parking passes are available for purchase at the Parking and Mobility Services office. Please take note of posted Sweep Zone signs when parking on the street.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.
