You'll love this quiet, charming, oceanfront, restored 1920s cottage with updates on a private dirt road. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea. You'll wake up each morning greeted by exceptional views of Cape Cod Bay, and possibly seals sunbathing on the nearby rocks. The private beach is accessible via stone steps next door, and a short walk on a country road brings you to two conservation beaches for walking and swimming. You may also escape to Cape Cod (the bridge is five miles down the road) or head up to historic Plymouth for the day.

If you're a fan of early American history, Plymouth is the perfect getaway! Visit Plimoth Plantation, a replica of the original village first settled in 1620. Donā€™t forget Plymouth Rock and the replica of the Mayflower soon to be returning. Situated in Pilgrim Memorial State Park, the rock is believed to be the spot where the Pilgrims first stepped foot on American soil. A ship- and rope-building mecca in the 19th century, Plymouth today boasts myriad historical sites, colonial architecture, shopping venues, and over 400 restaurants. The cottage is also five miles from the Sagamore Bridge, so you can also enjoy Cape Cod's beaches, quaint seaside villages, and wonderful seaside restaurants.

Quaint cottage with character. I thought the weather would be fall-like so I didn't worry about taking walks on the beach but it was unseasonably warm, so I missed that part. We also had a couple cute seals sunbathing on big rocks in the bay. Always great to see wildlife. Also neat to see the tide turn.

We stayed for 4 nights in September. The ocean front cottage is very private and the ocean view was beautiful from the sunroom, the open deck and the master bedroom! We so enjoyed the ocean waves while falling asleep and the early morning sunrise through the large master bedroom windows. A serene respite for sure. The property management was awesome before, during and even after our stay. They kept us informed of the details necessary for our stay and even reached out several times just making sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. They were ready to help if we had any concerns! We would love to stay here again someday!

House was clean, beach view was amazing, the drive coming in was a little iffy. Luckily I had an SUV and we trusted the GPS but there are some "no trespassing" signs that made us uncertain if we were going the right way.

The property was exactly as described. The views of Cape Cod view were amazing, the location was private, and convenient to activities we wanted to do in Plymouth and Cape Cod. We would definitely return if looking to come back to the area.

It's a beautiful oceanfront location; however, there was mice poop everywhere, especially in the kitchen. All over plates, utensils, etc... The property manager spent several hours cleaning out and scrubbing all of the cabinets, drawers, dishes, pots and pans, etc.

Make sure all cleaning is done. Shower curtain had mildew. Dehumidifier needs a house ouside i had to personally empty it 5 times in 3 days

Owners REALLY Need New Property Manager

Adorable cottage on the coast with a beautiful view! Very old and has such great charm - no A/C was rough on our first night as it was in the 90ā€™s, but once it cooled down it was perfect. The management company is ridiculous. I have rented many places over the years and this was the worst by far. For the amount of money paid for the property you should get more than one garbage bag and one roll of paper towels for a five day stay. The ā€œwelcome packageā€ comes with a tiny bottle of dish soap, enough laundry detergent for one load of laundry, and 2 packs of dishwashing powder (no dishwasher at this location). Itā€™s disappointing because we will be coming to Plymouth at least twice a year to visit family and it would be nice to stay at the same place consistently, but I wonā€™t be renting any Vacasa properties again.

Gorgeous place

Fantastic view, cant say enough about sunrise and sunset. Nice away from it all spot close enough to places to go fora really good balance. The road in isa back road on the cape going any faster than 5mph will rattle you around but totally worth the slow roll in.

Very rustic location with a great view of the ocean

If you are looking for a very remote and rustic location this is a great spot. House and furnishings are quite old but well maintained. View is very nice. Road or driveway to house is rough and overgrown. Thought we were lost till we finally got there. Drive an SUV I donā€™t think a car could have made it in or out especially if it rained.

Cape Cod Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay. It was beautiful, the cottage was just the right atmosphere for a week of relaxing times. My wife and I loved the sunrises, the seals, the views, and especially loved the neighbors Paul and Linda checking on us time to time. Great week and will be back. A charming beautiful cottage!

I will miss the seals

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this location right on the water. The road there was interesting as it is narrow and bumpy with tall weeds on both sides. But once you arrive, it is just breathtaking. The home was just right for us and our needs. The only suggestion to the homeowners is to provide better dishes, cups, and mugs. The gentleman next door was incredibly sweet and kind, as was his dog, Luna. You will enjoy the sound of the ocean tides and the seals. We got a kick out of watching and listening to them fight over who would be king of the rock. I highly recommend this spot.

Remarkably Mediocre

The location and the views are almost enough to give this property a higher rating, but not quite. The lane to the house winds through a dense, marshy area, and the house itself sits high up above the beach with a beautiful view of the Atlantic. We saw harbor seals basking every day, as well as many birds and boats. The ocean breeze was delightful, especially at night because the house has no AC. There were a few floor fans available (could use more ceiling fans) in the house to help with the heat, but they hadn't been cleaned in ages and were caked with dust. On the surface it seemed as though things had been wiped and vacuumed, but a closer look revealed that the effort was hurried at best. Many cobweb corners, spiders and flies, stained carpets and baseboards, and every window sill was in dire need of cleaning. The interior of each disorganized kitchen cabinet featured crumbs and dust, and the basement, which we were asked to venture into for loading laundry & disposing of trash was from a horror movie chase scene. A deck chair in the enclosed patio was broken beyond repair and a framed mirror sitting on a dresser was also broken. No way to let owner know - only robotexts. Many windows and one sliding door had broken locks. The decor is tired and old, old magazines and several buckets of rocks and odd other broken bits of things, cabinets left open or don't close. House could be a base for excursions, but would not recommend for a comfortable stay.
