Wakulla Springs State Park and St. Marks Wildlife Refuge are just minutes away.

We love our quiet, peaceful spot. Lewiswood is tucked back near the edge of the property. The rabbits and deer love to run around the front yard. The birds are enjoying the wild blueberries and the blue birds are nesting in their boxes. Sitting outside at night listening to the sounds of nature add to a beautiful ending of the day. No traffic noises. We hope to have a return visit. Loved meeting Buddy. Appreciate the thoughtfulness and excellent care of the Retreat. Super job!!!

Thanks for your review. It was nice meeting you and hope if you are in the area again, you will stay with us. Enjoyed having you. We do love our quiet country setting. Often the deer stroll.

Thanks for your kind remarks. We try to make everyone's stay with us enjoyable.

We enjoyed having all of you. I love our little place and enjoy sharing it with those who find a natural setting relaxing. The screen porch is good at night as you said to see fire flies and other night creatures. Often our guests see the white tail deer and their young ones. Sorry, you did not see them. We have recently added a washer and dryer and a remodeled shower which makes it easier for our older guests. Thanks for your review. Please check back with us if you return to our area in the near future.

It was such a treat having you and your family. We always want to do everything we can to help our guests have a great stay and meet all their needs. Happy to hear we met our goals. It is guest like you that bring us joy! So thankful you found us and hope you will stay in touch. Have a good Summer!

So happy that our Retreat worked for your family and the dogs. It was great having you and we hope you will return to stay with us when you are in our area again. Thanks for the great care you took of our place.

Thanks for your comments. Appreciated your husband’s help. Lewiswood Retreat is rented until next June. The guest may have left some of their food in the cabinet. I took out the food in the fridge that belonged to them. They left for the weekend because you had a prior reservation and did not want me to cancel your reservation. Very thoughtful of them. Yes, I have installed a washer and dryer. They appreciated my doing so. Other quests have wanted them, too. This property is often rented for 2 to 3 months. I am sorry it is not as pretty as it was but when I ask them they said it would be fine. It was more important to have a washer and dryer. I will see what I can do to make it prettier and post the new pictures.

Glad you enjoyed the back porch. Thanks for coming and always happy when things go smoothly. Lightening bugs take me back to childhood. Love our setting where you can see them and other beautiful things like the bunny who stays close by and the deer who come in the yard after dark I see them in the early morning just before dawn breaks. Enjoyed having you and meeting your two furry friends. . Our remodeled shower with the handicap bar was just finished prior to your visit.

Thank you so much for staying with us. Hope you will be able to come again and won’t have the glitches next time. Looking forward to having you back at the retreat.

It was our pleasure to have you stay with us. We hope you will come again. We always try to do everything we can to make sure things are as they should be for our guests.

It was great meeting you and your son. Enjoyed listening to his band. Glad you appreciated our quiet, country setting and were able to see the deer as you returned home at night. Thanks for coming to stay with us.
