Our impression of the property was exceptional. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Her home is spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. It has beautiful views and is in a quiet area yet accessible to all points of interest. My family and I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this vacation property. We hope to visit again in the future.

Beautiful Home~!

We had a wonderful stay in June 2021. The house is beautifully decorated and very close to all attractions. The kids loved stinky beach! Sharon, was wonderful to work with. ;) The top decks were magnificent for watching boats, wildlife and sunsets. We will definitely be back soon to enjoy this hidden gem. What a great time we had! Thanks Sharon.

Communication with the owner was fantastic! We were prepared for what to expect heading out for vacation. The house is gorgeous and wonderfully decorated! The decks overlooking the marsh were our favorite spot to chill as a family. The little first floor "apartment" is an added benefit if you have the need for a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of a big family. The elevator was a must for us as one family member uses a wheelchair. The ramp leading into the house has a tight turn if using a wheelchair but was manageable. The house is very nicely stocked with everything you could need for cooking at home for an evening in. The location is excellent (we used the "park and ride" as a cut through to bypass traffic) and was easy to get where we needed or wanted. The only downside of the house was lack of accessibility bars but that is something we notice only because we need them. I'd definitely recommend this house and this owner for future stays!

What a wonderful stay for our 3 generational family! This well appointed home certainly provided the luxury experience as noted in the name. From the newly renovated bathrooms to the well stocked kitchen, with the marsh and bay views and easy access to local restaurants and activities- our family thoroughly enjoyed our experience in this beautiful home. Sharon, our host, was very accommodating and provided wonderful information about the house and area prior to our stay!

This house is absolutely beautiful and there are views/balconies for each room. It is well stocked (kitchen), the beds are comfortable, and there is a lot of room to spread out. It’s off the beach in a quiet area, but easy access to one beach and a quick drive to the Ocean City beach. We had no trouble parking and were steps from the beach which was helpful with young grandkids. It was our first time in Ocean City and we will definitely return. The host was so kind with her recommendations and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Family memories were made and I highly recommend.

Amazing!

The pictures don’t give it justice. The living area on the third floor is much bigger than I imagined it would be. All the bedrooms are on the second floor, excluding the apartment on the first floor. The master bedroom (2nd floor) is humongous, my nephew and his wife and all three kids slept in it. The sitting area in that bedroom is big enough for a blowup double mattress for the little ones. There are no curtains in that area, so it gets bright early in the morning, but it didn’t seem to really bother anyone. The other bedrooms were nice as well. The apartment on the first floor is a very nice feature as there is a full sized kitchen in it so we didn’t have to run up to the third floor when we wanted to eat. We were able to hang out with the family/kids when we wanted to, and escape when we needed to. Also, there is an elevator which is great if you have elderly people who can’t do stairs. It was a quiet location, with porches everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby that you could walk or ride bike to. Assateague is where we went to the beach. Much less hectic than OC. It was about 20 minutes away. I would absolutely recommend this property. Sharon was very accommodating and full of helpful information about the area. The house was very clean. Enjoy!

Surprise Engagement

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marsh Magic! It was a beautiful, clean, well-equipped home with so many amenities! The decor was gorgeous, the location was perfect and our host was so responsive! I would absolutely recommend Marsh Magic for an Ocean City stay!

What a beautiful home and a great location

We having fishing this tournament for over 15 years. The house was the spacious and beautiful decorated. Well maintained and one of the cleanest house we have seen. Sharon was a great host. Hope to be back next year

Best home we have found in 10 years

This home offers comfort and style, was the cleanest rental we ever experienced and had amazing view, was quiet at night and a beautiful location where you can see boats come and go, walk to a little beach and easily access so many attractions. We were very happy in this home. The owner is very easy to communicate with.

Marsh Magic Absolutely the BEST!

This home was perfect in every way for my family and our stay. The location is great! We loved the porches overlooking Ocean City and then the other porches over looking Sunset Marina. The space this house has is amazing! Our family never felt that we were on top of each other. The apartment downstairs was such a great addition to have. The master bedroom with the ensuite was beautiful. The house is extremely well equipped. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything plus it was nice to have the option of a gas or charcoal grill. I think this is the first time I haven't had to go buy additional pots and pans or utensils when renting a home. The elevator was a nice bonus to have especially when bringing up groceries and luggage. We go to OC every year and I will definitely be booking this home for next year! I was so sad to leave it this year! Sharon was such a great host and so professional to book with and if we needed anything her response time was immediate! Thank you for sharing your home!

Fantastic! Read for accessibility notes

This is a gorgeous house and Sharon is a great host! We rented this home because I have mobility difficulties and the house has an elevator. Those with similar needs will know that homes listed as “wheelchair accessible” are usually not. Sharon was a rare host who actually called to let me know of possible barriers she found throughout the home. There is a maybe 3 inch step into the master shower that my husband could help me into. We brought our own shower stool and that worked well. The one unexpected issue I found was that there is a separate door within the master bath to the toilet. That door is narrow. My husband measured it at 24 inches. Neither my walker nor chair would fit through the door. The same was true of the hall bath and the downstairs apartment bath. The top floor powder room could easily accommodate my walker. I left my travel powerchair in the downstairs apartment and then sat on my walker in the elevator and used the walker in the rest of the house. My walker has a seat so I was able to use it for cooking. I just wanted to let other mobility compromised individuals know my experiences. I would stay here again but when I used a powerchair full-time, this would not have worked for us. Thank you Sharon for your wonderful hospitality!

Great Week at Marsh Magic

Marsh Magic is a very large accomadating quiet comfortable home. My family and extended family had a wonderful time at this clean, quiet , spacious and very well stocked home for a week at Ocean City, MD. The owner is very attentive to any needs you may have while at her home. She takes care of anything that does not meet your expectations and she has very friendly and professional people that work at her property. It is a very nice vacation home and we plan to stay therer this year also.

Great time had by all

I just wanted to write a review and thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. The group had a great time over the weekend and after they left my two children(10 & 11 months)were able to come down. My ten year old was amazed by the elevator and you were right it did save a lot of back strain.  My family and I just wanted to say thank you again and hope to be back again soon.

Luxury OC MD Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Magic Marsh with a group of friends in August 2011 for a long weekend. It was a fantastic trip - the owner is great, the house is clean, well-decorated, spacious with tons of outdoor deck space, and an elevator! The house is located within walking distance from popular local bars and restaurants just over the bridge from downtown Ocean City. The trip to downtown Ocean City and the beach was also easy - the house is just around the corner from a park and ride station; the fare is $1.00 for the entire day, and buses run regularly until 1:00 am. We walked to the park and ride every morning with our beach bags and chairs, and took the bus back in the early evening. We also took the bus downtown in the evening. The bus drops you off one block from the boardwalk. And there are taxis available from downtown to drive back to the house after 1:00 am, but you may need to call for one. We did not have to use our cars for the entire trip (there was plenty of parking at the house - we had at least 6 cars). We also spent a lot of time at the house - there are two kitchens, fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, wine glasses, etc.; there are also two charcoal grills. It was great - we were able to make group dinners every night during sunset and eat on the deck facing the marsh and downtown Ocean City. There was plenty of space, and we were all very comfortable. The owner was very accessible and provided us with a lot of information about the area prior to our trip. I would highly recommend this house to groups or families. The location is perfect for everyone - it's peaceful and spacious for those looking to relax, but there are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby for those looking to go out. There is a grocery store and a beer/wine store within a few minutes drive. There is also an outlet mall located just a few minutes drive away (the park and ride bus also makes a stop there) and there is a casino located about five minutes away, which we didn't visit but may have if there had been a rainy day during our visit. Our group has been visiting Ocean City for the past five years, and we normally stay in North Ocean City, near the DE/MD border, but we think that this was our best trip yet! The luxury, comfort, location and convenience of can't be beat. We would definitely stay at Magic Marsh again!

Great Place, Great Owner, Great Experience!

We rented Marsh Magic during the first week of August and could not have been happier with our rental decision. The location, views, and ambiance at Marsh Magic are fabulous! We rented a slip for our boat at the Ocean City fishing center and had great fishing and weather! We are already planning a return visit for next year. This is a great place and we will be back. The owner was fantastic throughout the process

"Pictures do not even do this house justice!"

As we were packing up to leave after a long weekend, we all wished we could have stayed longer at Marsh Magic! The house was fantastic, and my friend said it right when she said "the pictures do not even do this house justice". I will recommend this house to any friends looking to stay in Ocean City and would look to return in the future. Working with the owner was a breeze, she was clear, efficient, and quick to respond to questions. Upon arrival, the house was impressively clean and every detail of comfort for her guests had been thought of. We quickly felt at home. We all remarked at the great location- a short drive to downtown fun, but also in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy to stay in the house, with it's ample space, beautiful porches, and great kitchens. But also just as easy to get to the beach, boardwalk, and fun of Ocean City. If you are looking for a fun and easy trip to Ocean City this house is for you!

Love Marsh Magic

This was our second trip to Marsh Magic and I can't say enough about it to give it justice. The house is large enough for our entire family and is in wonderful condition. The first thing you notice when you come in is how clean everything is. The owner has made sure to have everything you could possibly need during your stay from all the cooking utensils to movies and books. There are so many different places to escape to when you want to spend some quiet time reading or sitting on the deck watching the boats come in. We have been to many different places and rented many homes in the past, but I must say Marsh Magic is my one the best one's we have been to. I would highly recommend it for the size, the condition, the overall cleanliness and the kindness of the owner. What more could you want from a vacation home?

Perfect Location, beautiful house

This is an absolutely gorgeous location. In particular, the master bedroom and connected sitting room that overlooks the marsh just makes the place. The kitchen is outfitted with many extras that I usually don't see at a rental property. This is certainly a place we will try and use again, particularly during the fishing tournament in August.

The Perfect Beach House

In our quest to find the perfect beach house for a group of 10... difficulties and frustrations grew. The first thing that every person said when we walked through the door was 'Wow!'. At that point, we knew we made the right decision. The house was immaculate and immense! It was beautifully decorated and even toward the end of the week, I was still noticing artwork that I had yet to admire! With a relaxing week at the beach in store, we couldn't have picked a better house! With so many decks to choose from, we would drink our coffee in the morning and watch the boats coming in... and in the evenings, we would sit on the deck off of the Great Room and watch the birds in the marsh. The way the house was set up was perfect for all of the people in our group. It was almost difficult to run into each other because there was so much room! The location of the house was also perfect. It was far enough off the beaten path to offer tranquil views and a peaceful atmosphere, yet close enough that a quick car ride took us to where we wanted to be. I must say that the pictures provided do no justice! You must see for yourself how amazing this house is!
