Location, Location, Location! Enjoy an ideal beach resort getaway by the ocean on Kiawah Island! This updated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath villa is conveniently located in the heart of the West Beach area, and is quick 5 minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean or the Cougar Point Golf Course!

The first floor of the villa contain the three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, and has a semi-private bathroom that also opens to the hallway. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and shares a Jack N' Jill bathroom with the third bedroom that has two twin beds.

Moving to the second floor, the open concept floorplan houses the main living space, kitchen, dining area, and half bathroom. The living room has a flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings to relax on after a long beach day. There is also a queen-size sofabed. The half bath is right off the living room for convenience. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The dining area seats 8 guests. There is a great balcony overlooking the bike path and beautiful nature Kiawah has to offer.

Make memories outside- starting with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, just a few minutes walking from the villa. For some real adventure, take the island bike paths over to Freshfields Village or Bohicket Marina for wonderful shopping and dining or ride over to Captain Sam's Spit to watch the dolphins frolick in the water!

Great vacation

This was the first time I have taken a full weeks vacation. We had such a great time it felt like we were only there a few days. We weren’t ready for our vacation to be over. Beautiful location!

Great location

Overall had a great stay. Location to the beach was phenomenal. Property is starting to show some wear and tare, but overall great stay. The plugs are worn in most bathroom/bedroom areas (I had to hold my wife’s hair dryer plug in the socket so she could use it without it turning off). Owners were great to work with, and check in/out was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and cozy condo in a wonderful location

We loved the closeness to the beach. We could hear the waves from the back deck and the beach was a 3 minute walk around the corner. Loved being at the west end where we could walk down to beach walker park and captain Sam’s inlet. Love the bike paths on Kiawah and the beautiful green landscaping. Drinks at the Sanctuary is always a treat too. The condo was clean and comfortable and the views out the back were beautiful.

Family trip

Very nice place. Does lack good lighting for those liking to read. Needs another night stand in the master bedroom, again to help be able to read in bed.

Fun for the family

My family and I loved the location. It was a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. We spent time at Heron Park, which is less than 2 miles from the residence. We were 45 minutes from my mother in North Charleston. The area was peaceful and the residence fit our needs. We spent most of our mornings on the beach and then we visited other parts of Charleston including the Market, Battery and Waterfront park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning soon.

Fantastic Vacation

Wonderful location! A quick walk to the beach, relaxing patio, friendly neighbors and a cute shopping area. We had to contact the property management for issues while staying (not their fault or the owners) and they were incredibly prompt. One issue was with a dishwasher and they brought us disposables just in case they couldn’t fix it (they did!). Will consider returning in the future!

Quiet Spring Break retreat

This condo is in an extremely quiet location, and time wise quite far from activities for teens. When we booked, we didn't realize it would be over 50 minutes to get to anywhere we wanted to visit. The condo itself was nice, master bedroom was a bit musty, but expected for the area. Kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals if needed. The Xfinity TV channel guide was non existent, so relaxing and watching a bit of TV in the evening was difficult. Overall the condo was lovely and pretty clean, but for our family wanting to see sights and explore, this unfortunately wasn't the best choice for us to rent.

Villa had not been cleaned from previous renters.

When we arrived late evening, the Villa had not been cleaned. We were offered an upgrade with the impression that it would be for the full week. After we spent an hour checking out the new location we were told it would be just for the night and that we would have to pack and unpack. This just wasn't feasible with 3 small children. We chose to stay in the uncleaned Villa until housekeeping could come the following morning.

Hey Mary! First of all, thanks for the review. You're correct that when you arrived the home was not cleaned. This is of course not common at all, but it was an unfortunate mistake on your arrival date and for that we are so sorry! We did explain when this happened that we had an upgrade available for just the one night, and we did clarify that it was just available for the one evening. I'm sorry if there was any confusion on that part. I understand why you chose to stay for the night, and we did reimburse you for the night and for the inconvenience. Many apologies for the mix up and we can promise that will not happen again in the future!

Family Trip to Kiawah

The condo was good. We liked sitting on the back deck drinking coffee in the morning with all of the trees in the back and being able to hear the ocean. It was a good location for us as we had some friends staying on Surf Scoter lane right behind us and we could take the bike path right behind the house to go visit or shoot down to the beach in less than two minutes. It’s almost as if you’re staying in a jungle right next to the beach. The leaky shower head, broken door handle, cooking pan, and dryer were taken care of as soon as we asked. The unit did smell a little musty but that’s to be expected of an older condo. Beds were ok - a little firm for us and AC worked really well. I would stay here again. Kiawah Island is beautiful. There is a small town center close with some cool shops and a grocery store. Miles of bike paths and the beach is huge. We saw sea turtles two nights we were out!

When the outside garden hose burst, we immediately contacted the property management company. It took numerous calls to get the water shut off for the leak. Had someone from our party not been present when a property management person arrived, we would have come back to no water (main tunred off without our knowledge). The entire situation could have been dealt with better, but it was Christmas and we were patient and understanding.

Like you mentioned, on Christmas things can be a little more difficult to contact the appropriate vendors. I apologize that it took a little longer than our usual immediate response time and full local team. And we experienced much lower temperatures than we're used to this Christmas! Disappointed

The unit was not clean, there were no towels in one of the bathrooms, no kitchen towels, the blow dryer was 100 years old and broke, the blenders glass handle was scotch taped together. For the amount I paid I expected more, very disappointing for Kiawah. I have been coming there for over thirty years. This was the absolute worst rental. Everything was thread bare and dirty, the one toilet was filthy behind the seat, bug legs everywhere on counters, pieces of soap stuck to the tub, the water in kitchen took forever to get hot. The water in the shared bathroom only got warm after running for a long tine, it never got hot. I would never rent there again nor recommend it. Extremely disappointing for what we paid.

Hi Jama! Thanks for the feedback and I'm sorry to hear of your experience. Our housekeepers are wonderful and have been working with us for years - they are usually spot on. But on the rare occurrence there is something missed or not up to guest standard, they are more than happy to come back and remedy. We also have a team available 24/7 that can always run over things like a blender, more towels, etc. We wish you would have given us a call as we are confident we would have been able to ensure that you had a very comfortable stay! We'd love the chance to provide you with that in the future.

Perfect house for what we needed

Well maintained, has everything in the kitchen you would need to cook. Bedrooms are a descent size but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Living room and dining area were also a great size.

Kiawah Half Marathon

We rented this property for participation in the Kiawah Half Marathon. It was very close to the starting line. It was a nice property and we felt it had everything we needed for our stay.

Excellent villa

The property was excellent! It was spacious and decor was beautiful. Kitchen fully stocked and very quick walk to the beach. Very easy process with renting!

West Beach Kiawah

Great townhome near Cougar Point GC in West Beach neighborhood of Kiawah. Perfect location for golfers, families, or couples. Short walk to the beach and can hear the ocean from the balcony. Easy parking and plenty of space in each bedroom. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Would definitely go back. Thank you for hosting a great weekend!

Great place, great location!

We loved staying here! It was a short walk to the boardwalk/beach/ocean via a path that is right behind the condo. Very clean! Would definitely stay here again!
