Kozy Korner is a quiet place to rest and relax when traveling.
It sleeps 2 comfortably.
Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Midpines, California. Approximately 30 minutes from Arch Rock entrance.
Easy access from Highway 140 the all year highway that follows the Wild and Scenic Merced River Canyon.
7 miles east of the historic town of Mariposa which is home to the California Mining and Mineral Museum. Also home to the Oldest Courthouse still operating west of the Mississippi.
On many weekends throughout the year are scheduled special events in Mariposa. Access to the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce website will have current information.
The key to the apartment is in a lock box by the entry door in the alcove. I will send the code close to your arrival when you make your reservation.

This was place was an excellent spot to stay while exploring Yosemite! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was clean and had sufficient supplies, and was easily accessible. Overall, an extremely comfortable and peaceful stay!

We had a lovely time at the Kozy Korner! It was a perfect place to stay to explore Yosemite while also enjoying the town of Mariposa. We appreciated the owner's thoughtfulness with the stocked kitchen and detailed activity and information guide! They were also very responsive to messages before and during out stay.

Enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was stocked with thoughtful details. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and private. The location is great to get to Yosemite, but still close to the store for groceries.

Lynda has thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need during your stay. The apartment was lovely and warm and the bed was super comfortable - just what you want after a big day of hiking.

A perfect base camp right outside of Yosemite NP!

Lynda’s stay was exactly as described — everything you need is here and it’s supremely comfortable and with added touches of Lynda’s warmth, like a full coffee setup and a welcome message for when we arrived. Communication was excellent, and she was very accommodating when we had to change our guest number! Will definitely come again!

Loved it!

Could not have been a cleaner, warm, and convenient place to stay. A quick 45-55 min drive to Yosemite depending on the time you leave. Very close to a grocery store and other local shops. Tons of reading materials for Yosemite and other things to do. Highly recommend!!

Quiet time with perks

This property was very clean and well stocked for a short stay. Lynda even included coffee beans and a grinder for a great morning cup of coffee. Having some quiet time and getting to listen to a few “not too loud” birds was a nice travel break. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Excellent getaway!

We had an amazing experience staying at the Kozy Korner! First off the place is very, very clean and spacious. I could tell the owner put a lot of thought into using COVID precautions (no more reusable silverware or plates) and providing a stockpile of amenities in her space like unique soaps, first aid kit, and assortment of snacks! The 3 of us had plenty of space and comfy beds to sleep in! Lynda was so kind because she setup all the beds for us! So after a long day of driving around Yosemite we didn’t have to do anything but jump into bed!There is also a full kitchen that is stocked with some breakfast items as well! I would highly recommend the Kozy Korner for its comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality!

Perfect spot to rest after a long day!

We had a great time staying at Lynda’s place! We spent most of our days hiking in Yosemite, so it was great coming back to a comfy clean place. The place is the perfect size with just enough room to spread out, without it being too big. We loved seeing wildlife each night as we returned to the property. Thanks Lynda, can’t wait to be back!!!

Kozy Korner...aptly named. And a great value.

This place just could not be any more perfect for what we had in mind...a nice, clean place to stay at night after we would visit Yosemite each day. It actually IS pretty cozy, and very nicely decorated. It all seems very new, so the bathroom and kitchen felt clean and welcoming. And, while cozy, it did not feel cramped at all. The kitchen was plenty big for the four of us to cook a meal and eat. The one bed is really, really comfortable, and I was told by the others in my party that the roll-away and pull-out futon were comfortable also. The air conditioner worked wonderfully, so we slept comfortably each night. Lynda the host is very nice and eager to please. The unit is not free-standing on its own...meaning it is actually attached to the host's main house. But the way it is situated you don't even realize it, as you have your own entrance on the other side of the house, with all the privacy you might want. The only caveat, and it is a small one, is that - although it sleeps four comfortably (one queen bed, as a futon for two, and a roll-away), there is not a separate bedroom, so all four people are sleeping essentially in a large room that doubles as the living room. If it's just a couple, it would not matter one iota. If there's four of you and you want to be separated for some reason from the others in your party, that won't happen. It was me and three teenagers, and we actually enjoyed the experience. The cost itself was a lot less than others in the area, and so great value for the money. And I especially appreciated that the host's cleaning fee was more than reasonable. (Some other places have very high cleaning fees that sometimes seem to be just another way for the hosts to make more money. But that's just MHO) All in all, a very nice experience, and I look forward to staying there again.

Great place to visit and the host is very nice.

My wife and I had a nice 4 nights in this studio apartment. Everything was in place and my wife particularly liked that coffee was provided. (She hates bringing it on trips.) It is a nice spot and at one time a tom turkey looked in the window and they were gobbling nearby. A very pleasant stay. It is a bit of a long drive to Yosemite but it is doable and we went there three days in a row.

Yosemite home away from home

This was just the retreat that we needed after the long days of site seeing and hiking. A clean comfortable space,…we stopped at the grocery…which was only minutes away & were able to carry on with our vacation without the guesswork or the expense of restaurants, everything was available to us to make the time and effort of being away from home seem non - existent!! I am so thankful we booked this and enjoyed the accommodations. Thank You Lynda for being the Perfect Hostess!!

More then just fone in Midpines

My Son and I stayed here while visiting my Father who lived about a mile up the road. Very clean and much larger than I thought it would be. A/C was a bonus as it becomes VERY hot in this area. Easy check in and all that. Very comfortable beds too. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful Stay near Yosemite

My fiancé, nieces, and I stayed at Kozy Korner for 2 nights during our trip to visit Yosemite. Kozy Korner is a located in a very convenient place, is super cute, clean, and well stocked with typical items (towels, utensils, cookware, bedding, etc). Lynda, the host, was very responsive to all my questions. I told Lynda that we would be arriving late on Friday night and she made sure to leave the light on for us and had the extra bed set up. One of the best things is the night time sky. The night we arrived, the sky was very clear and we saw so many stars and even the milky way. My nieces have never seen so many stars before and they were amazed! We highly recommend Kozy Korner to everyone!

I love it here and can’t imagine being anywhere else.
I love to share my space with others who are not as fortunate to live in a country setting.
Being close to Yosemite National Park is a bonus.
With Mariposa close by with all it’s charming establishments there is so much to do and see.
