Venetian Canal in Clear Lake. Spacious and fully furnished with everything you need for your vacation on the lake. Trex deck (23' x29') and lighted STAIRS to walkout to dock. Firepit and seating area. 2-stall garage with large front yard that has LOTS of off street parking space! NO PETS-NO SMOKING. To access the lake wakeboard racks and Bimini tops must be lowered to fit under bridge.

Great place for a family get together

This house is perfect for a group. Our group enjoyed spending the day cooking, eating, and playing games together, but then we were all happy to have our own quiet bedroom and comfortable bed.

Great Lake Getaway

Perfect spot for a large group! We soaked up the sun all weekend from the deck and enjoyed the large living area inside as well. Will definitely be back!

Clean, spacious home and outdoor spaces

We loved our stay! The home is clean, with plenty of seating and hangout spaces. We loved eating on the deck, hanging out at the Firepit and even fished off the dock. One of our favorite places to stay when visiting Clear Lake.

Great place in Clear Lake!

Great place with everything we needed. We loved the deck and being able to leave our boat on the dock was a wonderful bonus. We enjoyed Jenga on the deck and had plenty of space to spread out. There were even fresh cinnamon rolls to boot! Host had great communication and was very empathic pertaining to recent grief in our family.

Dock dreams

What an amazing outdoor space! Grill, umbrella, awesome chairs, fire pit, bags & a safe space to easily access your boat & the larger lake. Great indoor setup to have more than one family. We hope to be back!

Family friendly vacation home

Melany thinks of everything to make your stay more enjoyable. Jumbo cinnamon rolls were waiting for us, kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes, anything you could need! Our family enjoyed watching the summer Olympics in the spacious livingroom. Our grandchildren loved playing in the front yard and on the back deck. We love the location as it’s a quiet neighborhood close to Clear Lake’s city beach.

Everything you need to Relax!

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Clear Lake, where everything is provided and an owner with amazing communication, look no further. Melany is a great communicator and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. The house was spotless upon arrival, instructions are provided for everything you might need to use during your stay. If you have a boat the best part is that the dock is in the canal, out of the wind and wake, and a very short putter to the main lake. We will be staying again in the future, and highly recommend considering for your next get away.

Great place

The hostess was very accommodating and was available via phone at all times. The house is well furnished with plenty of seating in the living room, The dining table, and on the deck. The beds were comfortable and each room had a large closet and storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed with upgraded appliances. We spent most of our time on the deck. It was a hot humid few days but we were very comfortable in the shade with a nice breeze. Clear Lake had several new stores and places to eat since our last visit. We plan to return.

This was the perfect house with an awesome deck for entertaining. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal. Melany was a fantastic host. If we are ever in this area again I will definitely stay here.

The Best!

If you are looking for a beautiful home that provides everything you need to relax and enjoy, you have found it. This was our second visit over the past year, and you literally can arrive and start relaxing. Melany is the most amazing communicator and genuinely cares about your stay and that all of your questions are answered. We had suggested a few additions to the dock area after our stay last year, and they were implemented with high end upgrades right away. Access to the lake via the canal is the best since you are out of the wind no matter what. The house is perfect, if you are considering this property, just book it. You won't be disappointed!

This house was a great choice for our friends gathering. Plenty of space for the 12 of us, from babies to adults. The house was well stocked with all the necessities and we are hoping to stay here for our gathering next year.

Great girls’ trip spot

This was a great place for four ladies to meet for a couple days, although it would very comfortably fit double that number. The host immediately and pleasantly responded to all questions. We’re already planning our next trip to this house.

Perfect gathering place

We had a late holiday gathering for 9 siblings/partners from MN & IA. There was plenty of space for food prep in the well-appointed kitchen, as well as for eating, playing games, and just being together. The bedrooms and bathrooms and large and well-appointed - comfortable linens and towels. Communication with Melany was outstanding - she made it really easy. Had a great meal at GeJo's on Friday night and enjoyed shopping around the downtown area on Saturday, complete with a local brew at Laketime Brewery.

Family Wedding Weekend

This property met our needs perfectly! Everything was exceptionally clean, which is a top priority for us. All 4 bedrooms were equipped with comfortable queen sized beds--no sagging! We all slept well. The house layout worked well for relaxing/entertaining. Bedrooms and bathrooms are off to one side of the split with a large open area on the other. Kitchen is large, well equipped with lots of seating and space for mingling. The great room, which combines with the kitchen had some of the most comfortable, reclining furniture I've found in any of the rentals we've used. Although, being the end of December we were not able to use the outside facilities, we could see the house was well equipped for oodles of summer, water fun. The deck was huge with a nice view. The home included a large 2 car garage and lots of off street parking, which was nice. Melany was an excellent host! She had everything ready and in great condition. Rather than having a flat rule of no gatherings of people other than the individuals on the lease, she was flexible based on circumstances. This was a huge part of my choosing this home. I fully understand the owners desire not to allow parties where their property could be damaged or destroyed but appreciate Melany's willingness to make individual judgements on this. Our vacations are almost always based on visiting friends and family, so if we cant entertain them (within reason), the property is of little use to us. Due to being busy with wedding prep, we didn't get around to checking in till late, almost 10. Cleaning staff had accidentally locked the door in such a way that our code didn't work. Stuff happens. What was significant was Melany's quick response. She immediately answered the phone and had us into the house in minutes. Having an owner who is available without hovering and prepared for the unexpected is huge, because the unexpected happens regularly! This home would be a fabulous summer rental but served our needs perfectly in winter as well. Thank you Melany! We reccomend both Melany and the property. Mother of the groom

Perfect Thanksgiving

My family of 9 + infant stayed for 2 nights for our Thanksgiving. The house is very comfortable and in a nice, safe neighborhood. We did check out the outdoor fireplace and awesome seating but never had a chance to enjoy. The couch was perfect for a larger group and the kitchen island was well used for snacks and serving breakfast. We fully used the large frig and freezer along with supplied bowls and containers. Everyone in our group slept good. Melany told us about extra table leaves in the closet to extend the table - worked out perfect! I'm sure we will stay again.

Absolutely Perfect!!

Where to start?! Location, amenities, cleanliness, & communication was by far the best we have ever experienced! Every detail was perfectly thought out by the owner. The layout of the home made it feel so much bigger. Definitely designed for a big family. Bedrooms & bathrooms tucked away giving privacy. Yet, the big open kitchen, dinning and living room allowed more than enough space for the whole family to watch TV, cook, eat and still all be together. The island was our non stop buffet spot. The deck was our after dinner hang out as we as the beautiful fire pit. We took family photos on the deck with the amazing weeping willow tree behind us. Mel is not just the owner, she was beyond helpful and genuinely thoughtful. Felt as if we’d known each other for years! Great memories with family that we haven’t seen in over 13 years, some we’d never met. At one point there were 12 (only 10 stay the night) of us and had plenty of space. Thank you Mel for sharing your beautiful home that will forever be precious memories for our family. ❤️

Great place!

This house was a great find. It has everything you need for all age ranges. We had adults, a teenager, 2 toddlers and an infant. The house was very clean. It was super easy to navigate the canal with our boat. The fire pit and chairs were also a big hit. We will be back!
